The chicken sandwiches at Angry Chicks were delicious! The portions are generous, and the crunch is perfect. One thing to know: their heat levels are way hotter than other hot chicken places. If it's your first time, I'd definitely recommend going down a couple of levels. I usually get Extra Hot at another famous hot chicken spot, but here I had to go all the way down to Medium! The food ultimately is good. I've had Angry Chickz several times at other locations. So this review is heavily based on the customer service. Tonight's crew..(7/9) , were slammed. We got there at around 8:30 PM. Personally, I was surprised at how busy it was.. I came from Castaic because this is the only hot chicken place worth going to in town right now. I had Dave's from North Hollywood in the afternoon and still had a hankering for the Nashville hot. The store was very clean and nice. Lots of fun stuff to read and look at. Madison took our order at the register. She was very sweet, so I made sure to take a peek at her name badge. She was pleasant. She had a smile on her face. She was warm and welcoming. There was another gentleman at the front with her, and I was unable to see his name tag. He was moving so fast, but he was also a very professional and very customer friendly. When he spoke to me and my boyfriend, it was ma'am, and sir. We sat for maybe 10 to 15 minutes. It was a little grueling to wait that long without Wi-Fi. We understood the wait and didn't mind because ultimately for us we interpret that as everything is being cooked fresh. But when we started to see people who ordered after us get their food, we started to question what was going on. When we approach the counter, there was a bag sitting on the counter. It was sitting like when someone is coming to pick up their Uber eats and the bag has been sitting for a while. They realized that they didn't finish bagging up and packing the food in the bag.. meanwhile orders after us are still coming out. They hurried up and finished packing up the bag and handed them to us and we walked out the store only to get to the car and the fries were cold. Going back in, we had to wait again for fresh ones. Now of course we're risking the chicken getting cold. I'm always short on time, and again I'm not around the corner and my little ones home waiting. My irritation levels were rising. I went from excited to feed my hankering and experience the new store to pissed off. BUT the team was too sweet for me to be upset and again they appeared relatively young. I could see they were really busy and working hard. And I appreciate that for our youth. And they handled the situation and me very well. Smiles and proper manners de escalate. They re made our fries and even gave us more! The manager came out from the kitchen and apologized and handed us our food. What I liked about her is I could tell she doesn't play. Lol. I advised her that everyone was really polite. Her response being along the lines of, it's expected of her team, no matter what, to provide excellent customer service. And she apologized for the inconvenience asking if there was anything else she could do for us. I liked how she has a standard and it's a non negotiable. So regardless of a longer than expected visit. I liked how everyone played their part and worked to keep the situation calm and fix it. 4 out of 5.. the WiFi being unavailable is a bummer. read more

My husband was so excited to try this place and ordered the sliders for lunch on 7/4/2026. Unfortunately, within hours he became extremely ill and spent the next 16 hours sick. His symptoms became severe enough that he had to go to the ER, where he received IV fluids and treatment for severe dehydration related to suspected food poisoning. It was a very scary experience, and based on what happened, we won't be returning. read more

Brand New Angry Chickz location in Santa Clarita opened this last weekend! My girlfriend and I stopped by for our first-ever visit to Angry Chickz and wow, it did not disappoint! Immediately walking inside, we were greeted by super friendly staff, including HB who took the time to walk us through the menu, explain the different spice levels (including the waiver required to try the Reaper Pepper level). He was so wonderfully welcoming and helpful. The space itself is sparkling new, and quite large to accommodate many customers with tables, booths and plenty of seating. The bathrooms were super clean and spacious. Plenty of parking out front in the giant retail space along Golden Valley. The food itself was top-level take-out. We went with Classic #1, which is two Angry Chickz sandwiches and fries. My girlfriend opted for Country flavoring, while I went with Mild. The sandwiches were very tasty. The chicken had a great crispy exterior, with amazing flavor baked inside a deliciously juicy interior. The pickles and slaw balanced out the heat perfectly. The fries were crispy and also seasoned with a nice spice that had the right amount of heat. I might even venture for the Medium level next time to give my tastebuds an even more thrilling ride. Several employees walked around to engage with the customers on this packed Saturday afternoon, asking how meals were tasting, bringing extra napkins, and offering to remove waste. Pretty good spot. The employees are friendly and helpful. The menu is basic but quality over quantity is better. I got the 2 chicken sandwich mild and country and they were delicious. It took a while to get my food but it is bcuz they make your meal as you order. And for people who enjoy soda, their Coca Cola is top tier with nugget ice. Can't beat that. The fries and Mac n cheese are also very tasty. And they have a dipping sauce that reminds of Cane sauce. Overall had a good experience and would recommend this location. read more

Appreciate the fact that they close late (until midnight). That's exactly what we need around here. My wife and my 5 year old approve of the food, so that means the food is good here and we will be back soon. For me, I love the fact that they serve Coca-Cola products. YAY!! Cold Diet Coke and fried chicken are the best of two worlds. Both my wife and I are happy they went with Coca-Cola products. My only recommendation is, they to have or if already have it, use over head speaker to call out name/order number when the order is ready. Give it 5 stars. Have had it twice now and both consistent and great taste. Ordered medium heat and it has great flavor. I love when people order no heat at a place like this and say the chicken is bland. Try ordering something with a little heat and enjoy your food lol. The chicken is JUICY and easy pull-apart which is always a sign of quality chicken. I like the chicken a lot better than other Nashville hot places that are very popular. I also really love the fries. I won't touch a french fry unless it's worth it, and it's worth it. Staff is super friendly, nothing but smiles. Ambiance is cute and what you would expect of a hot chicken spot. Food does take some time to get out, which I actually like because that means they cook it on the spot, and it's not sitting under some heat lamp like other Nashville spots (yall know who im talking about). if you haven't tried it, you should. Might be because we came on a holiday but this chicken is awful and bland. Ordered the Country chicken and Mac n cheese. Both were flavorless and had all the wrong texture desired in fried chicken and Mac n cheese. The pasta in the Mac and cheese was over cooked and mushy and the cheese sauce was on the sweeter side, not savory at all. The country chicken was bland and not exciting at all- it tastes as if the chicken was soaked in water -- all hints of salt or any spices were lacking. Unfortunately my partner and I came in around 5 PM on 07/07/26 and we received our food at 5:43 PM. The restaurant had 4 other customers and was not busy. Personally I don't think it should take more than 15 minutes to get a simple order out especially if this establishment just opened. I would recommend improving the turn around of orders and the quality of the food. Once we opened the bag, the Mac and cheese was not properly sealed and was a mess inside the bag. The food was mid at most and we probably will not return. It lacked flavor and tasted old. Pretty disappointing as we were looking forward to trying this new place and expecting much more. If we were going to wait that long we would expect better quality food. I suggest going down the street to Main Chick Hot Chicken next to Regal. read more

Ok we ordered here yesterday (July 4,2026). We took it out since we are going to watch the fireworks behind target. I took the X-Hot (911), My daughter took Hot (feel the burn) and my boys had country (they are 6-7 years old). First the fries and that mayo dip is good! Now for the spicy part... well let just say I didn't enjoy the fireworks because I was so busy putting out the fire on my mouth it's like licking the @ss of satan. For the last 30 minutes I was thinking about my life choices while my wife was laughing at me. We have water bottles but it's not enough! I was already sweating like i ran the marathon in the sahara. Mind you this is the seconds most spicy i don't know what the "Angry level" feels like maybe licking the sun? Anyways we got home and I was like yea it's done! And I'm wrong!!!!!! My stomach starts heating up like i gulp a molten magma. I don't know what to do so i started googling milk, Ice cream, yoghurt. I settled for ice cream it helped but not so much so there I was watching Kdrama crying not because of the show but because of my melting stomach. 3AM I decided to gulp 10 pieces of psyllium capsules to prepare myself when i drink my cup of coffee when i wake up. Next morning feeling better and realizing gone. I got the number 1 with 2 "sliders" they are more like 2 sandwiches - 1 order can feed 2 ppl. They were too big tbh and one sand went to waste. Fries and sauce are less than mid. My first time coming to this specific location and i love it! An honest mistake happened with my order which is completely okay, stuff happens and what's important is that customer service was amazing and helped me right away to resolve the issue, i worked taking orders as well so i know things like this happen it's nobody's fault.
