Lol. The amount of chicken in my chicken sandwich was appalling; barely visible would be a good way to describe it. You would get a more substantial meal from a McDonalds value burger patty. The only explanation is that they are operating using war rations, and have to pound out each piece of chicken as thin as possible to make it last the whole week. Just had the chicken sandwich, and because I like to experiment in the kitchen, added a little bit of hot honey sauce and black pepper at home and it was definitely one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had to date! I love spicy food and I think medium spicy here is do-able for those who are not spicy fans but still want to try. Next time I will elevate the spicy level to the next step up. The chicken is basically just a fried piece of chicken with a sauce over one side, not like actual Nashville chicken dipped in the spicy oil/sauce. Fries needed seasoning and were soggy. Also ordered a side of Mac, but it was literally just the mac noodles, no crisp, no cheese, no flavor in it at all. Pic for proof. Sauce was another thing this establishment can't get by. The "house" sauce is pale and bland. They also have no honey for your chicken, instead offer sweet and sour and some other sauce I honestly threw away. The fries aren't worth the effort if you live as far away as 7.4 miles like us. Unless you plan to eat them on your drive home. They definitely need salt or ketchup. Part of this review I could probably chalk it up to this being a new restaurant and they're not having it together yet. The problem is then when you have a number of things wrong it's difficult to just chalk it up to being a new startup. It started with the point of sale the guy was nice but was very slow and didn't seem to really understand the different flavors that went along with the chicken. Then it took 25 minutes to get our order which was only two chicken sandwiches and four strips of chicken. In my opinion, the chicken sandwiches were more the size of sliders with each having a huge slice of lettuce and a dinky single tomato slice on them. The meat was small, but it did have a decent flavor. We ordered a crazy hot on one of the sandwiches and the other spicy the crazy hot was hot but certainly not as hot as I've ever had. The chicken strips were not what I would call strips they were just small pieces of chicken that were strip-like (maybe two or three inches at most). For the strips, we got a cajun flavor, but it seemed just some sauce on the pieces. On top of all the other issues of waiting a long time and then seeing the small portions, they didn't even bring out the dipping sauces that we asked for....so what is the point in asking what kind of sauces we want? When we got there the restaurant was pretty much empty and then when we left it was halfway full (likely because we were there so long waiting) and it seemed like every table had issues with the order or we're waiting like we had been. If you are looking for a chicken restaurant there are two others in town so I would probably hold off on coming here if you haven't been here yet. read more

Always loved that place.!!! And their food is great. But what happened after today I don't think I'll be going there anymore. I was there on Sunday afternoon to get some meals for me and my friends. I made my order loud and clear as we had to repeat I've and over and over again. Ordered close slaw for the side and 2 meals. After getting the food, I went home and started unpacking the food, turns out there was one 1 order meal and 2 MAC N CHEESE. Even tho when she heard me loud and clear say 2 meals and 2 Cole slaw. That long wait and 30 something dollars for there to be so much space in my plate. After diving up the food. no heat" written on the plate meant heat. I was so pissed I ordered a combo with medium heat and took the unmarked tray, only for the plate that was marked for "no heat" to actually be MINE! So mad and couldn't trade back we were all so starved, I'd biten too much off, in tryn to make sure I wasn't trippin, to trade. I didn't think it was enough.. but the sandwich was filling. I was driving, and saw this place whle looking for a new spot to eat in Santa Clawas . I made a U turn to come back to it and I'm glad I did. (Whenever I go to a new place I err on the side of caution.) I'd say it's reasonably spicy but not very much. If you are looking for something very spicy I'd order something above medium.
