We've been taking our son to Walnut Creek Dermatology for about a year now, and I gotta tell you,…read morewe could not be happier. The office is very nice, staff is friendly, and Dr. Radelll had been wonderful to work with. She diagnosed his issues, created a long term course of action, and made sure our son understood his face care responsibilities. We've checked in with her a few times. Every visit was great. But Dave, you have Kaiser, why would you pay out of pocket? We tried Kaiser. It took several weeks just to be able to message a dermatologist. Then more messages with pictures and still no course of action. I wanted someone to actually look at his face. Plus, it's not super expensive. So we took matters into our own hands and never looked back. Give Dr. Radell a try!!

I also have incredibly sensitive skin and have been struggling with products and finding a sunscreen that doesn't upset my skin. Instead of being sold expensive products that don't work like in my previous experiences at other dermatologists. I was educated on what is best for my skin and given samples that are not causing my skin discomfort.

Ive been coming here for the past few years and been seeing Dr. Ellis and I couldn't ask for a more…read morecaring, professional, and result driven doctor. Dr. Ellis: Dr. Ellis is very knowledgeable and can craft certain treatments around your preferences such as utilizing different cremes/washes/oral medications or lasers. As someone who does not like to use oral medicine, she offered topical treatments that yielded great results. Overall: A fantastic, friendly, and very clean location with lots of knowledgeable and professional staff that can help you with any of your skin needs.

I have been coming to this establishment for a bit. I think maybe i'm on my 2nd package with each…read morepackage contains 4 or 5 treatments. Danville is a tad far from my home, which is SF. But since I liked what I saw and heard from Dr. Ellis' YT channel, I thought it was worth the drive to come here. I saw Dr. Ellis for the initial consult but since they've made her a partner at the practice, all my treatments were performed by a nurse. And I love my nurse, her name is Emily, she seems competent and friendly and funny. What's not cool about this place is: 1) The pricing 2) The front desk The pricing is much higher than other cosmetic practices in the Bay Area, incl in SF where I used to and still get some treatments done. To compensate for this, you'll need to buy a package, just to make the pricing comparable to other places where you could buy as a single treatment. The front desk seems to be employing a gestapo approach to customer service. So I made a mistake in my calendar with the start time, so I ended up arriving 1 hour earlier than the 2:30p appointment time that they texted me. I arrived and I told them I had a 1:30p appointment, but was informed that my appointment was actually 3:30p, with a 2:30p start time just going into a room waiting while getting my face numbed. I told them it seems that I've made a mistake but I do have a full day ahead of me and I live all the way in SF so I wanted to see if they could please let my nurse know that I'm there early. I was asking them for an accommodation for a mistake that I clearly owned. They wouldn't talk to Nurse Emily. They told me Emily is all booked with not a 5 min to spare. I told them that's fine, if they could please maybe leave her a little note letting her know of my situation. Loren at Front Desk initally told me yes they would tell Emily when she's out with a patient to the cashier at front desk, but within minutes, she had told her manager in the office and her manager came out to tell me there's nothing they could do. They wouldn't let Emily know! They also told me they absolutely have no spare room to put me in. But when I was finally admitted to my treatment room, I saw a ROW of empty rooms. Bravo!

This might be the most uncaring office I have ever worked with. I am a physician and would never…read moretreat patients this way. I understand being busy. I am also busy and have a 3 month wait for non urgent patients. But when you have established patients with urgent concerns you accommodate them in an urgent fashion. 3 weeks is not urgent. A 13 year old with a new onset raised itchy facial rash is not something that can wait 3 weeks. I told them this is not up to my expectations of care and is poor patient care and they said "we are sorry to hear that but we do understand if you will need to see another dermatologist. We have a lot of urgent concerns that has been requesting to schedule but we cannot accommodate everyone." Wow. As a physician I am appalled. I would never let my staff say this to a patient!

As a physician, people ask me all the time, "Which Dermatologist would you send your family to?"…read more My emphatic answer, Dr. Paru Chaudhari! IS who I trust to take care of my family in the East Bay. I know they are in the hands of a highly skilled, caring, and extremely knowledgeable doctor, and feel so lucky to have the great fortune of having this incredible physician be part of their care team. She has the highest ethical standards and interactions with her support staff are always helpful too! I would encourage anyone who is looking for a Dermatologist they can count on to schedule a visit with her before her panel completely fills up!

Aside from confusing directions from Waze and an elevator requiring keycards to access the building…read moremy first experience was great. True my visit was just a few minutes but in those few minutes I believe I received the information and treatment I needed for two warts on my feet. I avoided getting any kind of spa treatments on my feet because of a wart on top of one of my toes and another near my hell on the opposite foot. I was told they are contagious and should not be touched. I could put a band aid on them and still get a pedicure. Also I was informed that warts are historically difficult to treat and could require multiple treatments- up to nine! I had gone to a local podiatrist whose treatment was a very mild freeze with a canister that was very small. At Berman they had a canister that was roughly 5 times as large and delivered quite a punch to the warts. I was told it might sting a little and sting it did! I'm hoping I won't have to go 8 more times but I think I went to the right place. I know my feet will be beach ready before summer.

Wow so many bad reviews. Makes me think twice if I will purchase another laser package…read more I've been to the Palo Alto and San Francisco office and they were great. I had regrowth so I scheduled a visit in the WC location due to relocating here. Location is nice however the entrance to the office is very dark. The receptionist was nice however here are my pros and cons. Cons: I didn't find my visit very welcoming The laser process seemed very fast only individually targeted and not in a straight row as I'm used to. Seems like you can miss areas if you are not consistently lasering the whole area. There were no discussions just sit here and put on the glasses. I felt PA could have asked my input. She was not friendly at all. Before they would shave me first not here. Now I have these burned hairs attached to the face and I'm wondering are they supposed to fall off? When I explained to the PA in the past they would treat more areas she kept saying this is why as a courtesy I lasered a couple areas. She must of said that at least five times as a courtesy for you. This is not how you talk to customers. I wasn't too happy with how quick my area was treated considering how much money I paid. When you are a customer and pay for a service with your hard earned money you expect at a minimum good customer service. I was expecting a wow factor here and that did not happen. Also the ice pack provided lasted 5 minutes was lot helpful at all.
