We recently moved to the area and took our dog here to establish care. Our dog has a disease that we discovered about a year ago, so finding a vet we could trust as soon as possible in Columbus was very important to us. The vet tech picked our dog up with one arm around her stomach and the other around her neck while she was clearly uncomfortable and squirming to get away. Throughout the visit, the vet seemed more focused on talking about politics than listening to our concerns about our dog's health. We were only there to establish care and inform the vet of our dog's disease. We didn't need any additional treatment. Our previous vet had advised that our dog be retested around the six-month mark for her specific condition, but the vet here ignored that and went ahead with another test. We explained that our previous vet had told us our dog may test positive for this disease for the rest of her life, and that it's her levels that really matter not just the presence of the disease itself. Our previous vet would always send off her labs and call within 48 hours with detailed results. This vet did not send off her labs at all; he simply saw a positive test and prescribed more medication. He prescribed a stronger round of medication that our dog had just finished taking two months prior and charged us around $250 for pills that had cost $36 at our previous vet. He kept saying that he was really going to get rid of it this time. When we called our old vet for advice, they told us absolutely not to give those pills. They stated it was too soon and could make her sick. We were already thinking this and is exactly why we called them to confirm. We have since taken our dog to another local vet, who took their time to send our dogs labs off, confirmed she is asymptomatic, her levels have gone down, and she does not need more medication at this time. All of this could have been avoided if the vet had taken the time to listen and focus on our dog's actual medical needs instead of political conversation. read more

Receptionist, staff and other helpers were great the veterinarian Dr. was horrible. I had to put my baby down. It was a traumatic painful and emotional experience. Dr. had no. Compassion, empathy, patience when it came to this emotional end, devastating situation he was not compassionate and gentle with my dog. He was more focused on a measly $40 that the receptionist forgot to charge me. On my dog, I will never return to this clinic like I said the staff was amazing but the vet doctor was horrible. I brought my dog here to get her teeth cleaned. They were less expensive than other clinics. My dog is a little older so she also had to undergo a blood panel. They were honest about everything, which I really appreciate. I thought my dog's teeth were awful but they assured me that they weren't so bad and there were no extractions. Do not take your pet here. The staff is nice, doctor is horrible and rude. For example, my cat was tested for feline aids. When they came back with the results, they didn't know if he was positive or negative because the nurses saw a faint line but the doctor didn't. My cat is only 9 weeks old, and his mother tested positive. My uncle is a vet in a different state and said it could show up within their first 6 months because the mom had it. Dr. Carroll told me to retest in 3 weeks. When I asked about what my uncle said, he said "did you not hear what I said? We're gonna retest in 3 weeks". Also, I had a question regarding a issue my cat has been experiencing. I asked Dr. Carroll if I could show him pictures, and he said "I don't want to see that". What?! Oh, and the medicine they gave me expired said it expired 2 months ago. The doctor is rude and doesn't care. Dr. Carroll seemed like he just wanted to go home. I had so many questions and received short, rude answers which didn't even answer my questions half the time. Same thing happened last time, thought maybe he just had a bad day and gave him the benefit of the doubt. But nope, he's just like that. read more

I took my pit in because she had a small growth for a few years but had recently gotten more out of control. it was very comforting to know that once he saw it, he said he deals with these alot. Dr said the staff could get me a quote up at the desk and i asked just for a ballpark number. when the bill came out it was within $10 of that. with itemization and while she was under anesthesia i asked for them to clean her teeth. never have i been happier about my dogs breath. so much better. they kept her til closing hour and i picked her up all wobbly still, some staples and stitches but well worth it. great job, good prices, nice people. read more

I took my baby here because she had just found out she had cancer and I didn't want her to suffer. This was the worse experience of my life. They missed her vein and my baby didn't go quietly. They ended up gasing her. All I wanted was for it to be over. I cry daily for may baby Diamond. She was my world. They sent me a card which was nice. They never offered me a refund for this horrible experience. I'll never be the same and I never will. This was almost 5 years ago and the pain is still fresh for me. I'm a native of the area and I literally can't drive pass this place without closing my eyes. Years later I'm still thinking of how they took my money for this experience. It's not about the money of course but my baby suffered and I paid money for it is an insult to my core and years of mental anguish me and my family deal with daily thinking of our Diamond......My Diamond was smart, loved, and well taken care of and didn't deserve this.
