They saved my puppy's life last night! Wonderful staff! Very caring and attentive! Less expensive than the emergency clinics.

Wow, where do I start? First Dr. Caitlin Walters Passaro is such a caring and dedicated kind human…read morebeing. She is very understanding and always answers any questions you may have, and if she doesn't have the answer she will find it and get back to you. I am so grateful to the team at [Friendship Veterinary] for their incredible kindness and thoughtfulness. After my beloved bunny, Twinkie passed on 3/21/26 under the care of another clinic, (my bunny had GI stasis and had to visit the ER hospital in niceville since this happened over the weekend) they sent a heartfelt letter of condolences and flowers. Their compassion and understanding during such a difficult time meant the world to me. They treated Twinkie like family, not just a pet, and I will always be grateful for their caring hearts. I would highly recommend Friendship Veterinary to anyone with pets especially exotic animals! Thank you once again.

Where to start?? I have 2 Dachshunds. I had recently moved…read moreto Fort Walton Beach so was searching for a new vet. I had heard good things about Friendship so I decided to give them a try. I've been going there for almost 7 years and in the beginning it was great. The front desk staff is amazing. I have never had an issue with any of the vets, until, Dr Matheson!!! I have had a very sick dog for a month! I put a call in to Dr Mathison 2 weeks ago! She has yet to call us back. I called the next day because we had not heard from her. she was off for 2 days so we were put in touch with Dr Real. He is a great vet! very kind. Forward 2 weeks. Still dealing with a sick dog. I Called yesterday ant 8:27 AM and unfortunately Dr Real is on vacation so the receptionist said she would have Dr Mathison call us. Still nothing!!! My dog is sick! She knows this because she has been involved the entire time with the situation . We have run every test they have asked us to. Still no solution. Called and spoke to the receptionist this morning because we never heard back from Dr Mathison and she informed me that they have 72 hours to return your call. So, if your animal is really sick, 72 hours could be the difference between life, and death. Also, we put a call in to her 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard back from her from the first call!! Im not saying I wouldn't recommend Friendship because I'm sure the other vets are good but I ABSOLUTELY would not take a sick fish to Dr Mathison!!! She obviously doesn't understand just how important people's animals are to them. I will be looking for another vet. I think the way she handled this situation is unacceptable and she should perhaps learn the meaning of compassion!! I will also be contacting Corporate as they should be made aware. This experience is completely unacceptable and could have turned out so differently with just a phone call!! One single phone call!!!

I began taking my German shepherd, Kirra, to Dr. Fowler in Dec 2012 when she was diagnosed with an…read moreaggressive form of cancer, hemangiosarcoma. Dr. Fowler was highly recommended by a friend who had taken her dog who has cancer as well. Dr. Fowler began with an assessment with all Kirra's current records, xrays, lab reports, etc from conventional vets. She began with creating a diet based around her cancer known as the "cancer diet". It was made of foods that would aid her condition and I that I could make easily at home. Next, she put my dog on certain Chinese herbs that were based around her cancer and what she was lacking (she had become anemic). Kirra was a fussy eater and could sniff out any medicine but Dr. Fowler always had a solution for this! She was always on hand for any questions (and trust me I had MANY). Along with the diet and herbs we did acupuncture and B12 shots on Kirra. Her office was warm and welcoming. The acupuncture treatments would take 30 minutes to an hour and as Kirra would lie there relaxed, Dr. Fowler and I would chat and she would calm me and reassure me with Kirra's treatment, condition and overall health. Kirra was given weeks to months by Auburn Veterinary Hospital. I feel that with Dr. Fowler's diet, herbs, and acupuncture Kirra had a happy and lively 3 months. She was given a grime diagnosis by conventional vets and treated with chemotherapy. Dr Fowler helped treat Kirra's side effects from chemo with acupuncture and it worked, instantly. Kirra once walked in to her office and she had not eaten in 2 days. Dr Fowler tried giving her treats. No go. After hitting appetite stimulant points on Kirra with acupuncture, right after she ate up all the treats and her appetite came back. Unfortunately with all the treatment with conventional and holistic medicine, the inevitable happened and Kirra began to hemorrhage. All I wanted was for my baby to be comfortable and home when the time came. Dr. Fowler drove an hour and a half to my house and ended my baby's suffering. She made it as peaceful as it could have been. I held her the whole time. Dr. Fowler then made all the arrangements for me and I had to do nothing which was so helpful at such a devastating time. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Fowler. I HIGHLY recommend her and her wonderful services. Since I had started seeing her for Kirra I have recommended her to all my friends and coworkers who have loved animals from cats to horses. She has the BEST bedside manner and truly wants the best for you and your beloved pet. She will be honest with you and that is sometimes hard to hear but it is in the best interest of your beloved pet. Thank you Dr Fowler for making a devastating event peaceful, calm and comforting. She was able to end my baby's suffering so compassionately. Words can not express my gratitude and I am forever grateful. Kirra fell asleep peaceful in my arms at our home where she was most comfortable. I felt her last breath and was able to tell her how much I loved her the whole time. That is all I could ever wish for at that time and Dr. Fowler made that possible.

Prior to the treatment he was a ball of pain and suffering not getting any rest- after he slept for 2 hours like a rock got up ran out side and dug a hole in the dirt! He was 12 at that time he lasted happily with infrequent treatments until his stomachs flipped a few years later. Since then Dr Fowler treated our blue healer with cancer and now our Blue with some sort of hip issue. It is a alternative and it works

Also on check out I was the only one which again was nice not having other pets around as I checked out. Very well done, can't say they are the cheapest but good isn't cheap and cheap isn't always good!

I had been using the mobile vet service for Lexi's shots, etc - for the most part. But awhile back…read morewhen Lexi was sick, I ended up at the emergency vet that is open 24/7. So, I decided to have her established at Cordova Animal Medical Center. I had done a lot of research on Yelp which lead me to make an appointment. From the very beginning, I was extremely impressed with them. I signed up online & chose my date/time for Lexi to be seen - how cool is that?! Becca then contacted me to confirm my appointment & also to bring her history of her vaccines, etc. When they asked me about allergies - I stated she is allergic to duck. The way their grounds are when you pull up; it's just beautiful. I noticed that they even have a designated curbside service for your pet! I'm thinking that may be for potential surgeries, etc. I have anxiety issue. So when I brought Lexi out of my car - she decided to have the poopies & it decided to stick to her butt. I was so mortified when I came in w/her which is when I met Becca. Oh my gosh - she was super sweet & very professional and made me not feel like an idiot when I brought Lexi in w/her smelly butt. She gave me many soft paper towels, etc to clean her bottom. Before I forget - they also cleaned Lexi's bottom better than I had! They did not charge me for that, either. But (this is funny) on the drive home - I always talk with Lexi in her carrier. I kept smelling the poopies on the drive home. When I looked down at my jeans, it was all over them! When we met Dr Brooke Mowdy - she was so friendly & very, very knowledgeable. I will come back here to obtain the other staffs names & also some photos! Lexi loved every single person that she came into contact with. Dr Mowdy went through her complete medical history & gave her her updated shots & one was by mouth & as small as Lexi is (9 lbs), she fought them a little on that medication - that was funny! They also followed up w/me regarding Lexi the very next morning. This is why doing research on any business through Yelp is so important. If you think about it, people are so quick to complain but not so quick to compliment. That's where Yelp comes in. Our local businesses deserve to have 5 stars when they treat your pet to the extent that Cordova Animal Medical Center has. It was like a warm hug from beginning to end.
