Smokey Mac and Cheese - $9
    Sharon Y.

Decent vegan takeout joint with fair prices and some interesting options. A small joint operating in what used to be the spot of The Pulp for all my OG Leslievillians. Ordered on here using Ritual ($5 off first time orders from here! Not sure how long this deal will last). My order was ready by the time I got there, and I picked it up seamlessly. I got the Smokey Mac and Cheese ($9), which came with kimchi and lemon tofu. I am not a vegan, so I will say that it definitely doesn't taste the same as your usual real cheese version, but for what it is, it's not bad. Better than KD but definitely not better than the real thing. I wish it was a bit more "saucy", as the whole dish was fairly dry and I drained my whole water bottle finishing it. I did like the taste of the kimchi and lemon tofu pieces which added a nice texture and a punch of flavour. It wasn't a huge portion size (note my picture) but for me it was enough. The prices of the food here are pretty great compared to your usual health food/vegan fare (most things are under $10). They also do smoothies here, if you're into that. Overall the food was more of a 3/5 for me, but I'll give them the extra star because I'm not a vegan and so I feel like I'm a bit of a harsher judge of mac n cheese. They have a pulled jackfruit slider on their menu that looks good, I might try that next time.

Great little spot full of creative and tasty vegan offerings. Top notch catering service - loved the (vegan) charcuterie board!

The only thing is the venue is an open food court which tends to be chilly during the winter. They gave me an extra tart to share with my gf which was really cute. The food platter was sooo good; French toast was super well done, fluffy and full of flavour. Highly recommend

Previously, I had gone by myself and was so impressed, I took not just my family but invited my cousins and their families. Each family took turns ordering and they invited us to sit anywhere in the food court. In fact, the nice lady helped us move some tables so that we could sit together. Believe me, the tables weren't light. The meals came to us on a cart in the order the we ordered them. We didn't have to wait long. They made sure we had everything we needed, hot sauce, ketchup, syrup, napkins and cutlery. Everybody was surprised at the quality of the food and how upscale everything was. We got to use real forks, plates, etc. No one left hungry. As we were talking and enjoying our food, they came to us and presented us with a plate of cookies and other desserts that we weren't expecting, the kids loved it. The adults appreciated it. We appreciate Karine's and love everything about it. For the amount of food, it was GREAT value. This restaurant cares and I think we've found our new holiday tradition.
