    Oaxaca bowl delicious

I do like the food here and made a takeout order for the week. I like the cauliflower tahini, first Canadian place and Oaxaca bowls the most. But I was super disappointed at pick up last week to see this guy with his mask under his chin. It says masks are mandatory and I was wearing one and so were the staff. The entire time I walked in and waited for my pick up order he was playing on his camera and sitting there with his mask down. I'm sorry but I don't want to come back during covid because of this. How are customers supposed to feel safe when cases are rising and people are shirking the mandatory masks indoors rule? Why do the staff not care about this? I just want to be safe while supporting local restaurants and this worried me.

    Gluten free sweets!

Great location and loved the earthy atmosphere. Loved the diversity of gluten free and vegan treats displayed. Looks like a quiet spot to post up and do emails or catch up on work. Ordered 2 smoothies and they were honestly very very bland. Both the strawberry and the coco banana option tasted chalky, I was confused because I didn't think a smoothie could taste bad? Lots of potential but for the cost, quality ingredients and size I was fairy disappointed.

Vegan waffles are not easy to find even in Toronto, and I only happened to stumble upon these waffles during my last trip to the city and now its become my favourite. These waffles are so light and fluffy due to the fact that the flours are gluten free and what's even better is that it's plant based. Whether it's a weekend brunch or just a casual weekday, the K&K waffles are delicious, hearty and healthy and is guaranteed to get your day started off right

Summary: a bit pricy, small portion, healthy and good quality lunch place This place is at busy corner near Spadina and Queen. I went to here for several times for lunch. However, I realized that every time I went to here the portion seems to get smaller and smaller. Compared to Freshii next door, this place is definitely more pricy and less portion. The food quality here is definitely good. However, if I want to a healthy lunch, I would probably choose Freshii.

Located at the corner of Spadina and Richmond, Kupfert and Kim is a great alternative if you are looking for something healthy around the area. I've passed by this location many times to see it always full with people and finally got to try it myself. I came by on a Wednesday morning around 10am. The place was fairly empty with plenty of seating available to choose from. Upon entering, a table with menus is within your view. You grab a menu, pick what you want, order at the counter, pay, and find a seat. Once your food is ready the employees will bring it to you. Since K&K starts serving their bowls at 11am, I opted for a blue smoothie bowl and an Americano for breakfast. Service was friendly/efficient and the food came out fast, no complaints there! I was also able to sit and relax for a bit longer as there weren't as many customers. Once finished and ready to leave, you can bring your dirty dishes to the counter. This is probably my first time trying a smoothie bowl and it certainly won't be my last. The blue smoothie bowl was packed with healthy ingredients including blueberries, granola, chia/hemp...to name a few. The Americano was great as well. Overall, great good and experience. Will come back to try more of their other menu items!

    First Canadian place

Ordered food from ritual app here a few times. Service: The food was ready by the time they promised, the waitress gave me a bag for takeout. Food: I am not generally a fan of vegetarian food, but found this place to be very tasty and filling. I got the First Canadian Place salad, very satisfied.

Wheatless & Meatless... this is probably going to break a few people into hives just thinking about it BUT WAIT. This place will really surprise you with flavour and actually make you full. If you were looking for a great tasting and filling meal, this is a great spot. It is gluten free and vegetarian. You're still with me? It also seems to be home to all the yoga pants wearing Torontonians. I had no idea we were keeping lululemon sales up with this one block of millenials. So even if you don't look the part of a curated Instagram yoga pant wearing millenial, you should step into this great spot and try it out. So the restaurant is a fast causal place and it's just south of the Chinatown. It's right at the corner of Spadina and Richmond. Otherwise known as Spandex and Rich Man ... overheard that while in line. It's a great spot as it has huge windows that let in the sunlight and lots of dog and people watching. The place is pretty clean and has a fair number of tables. It does get busy for Sunday lunch time as it was about 70% full. Natural light caramel woods, large white wall swatches, and dashes of greenery are everywhere and it brings a warmth to the place. The place is photographs amazingly. Cauliflower Tahini Bowl - bright and colourful, this large salad bowl came with a lot of different shredded vegetables and a large roasted cauliflower. It had carrots, purple cabbage, Lettuce, beets, radish, quinoa, green leaves, pomegranate seeds, seed crackers, and with a big scoop of hummus. There was a of nice textures and crunch .... perhaps a bit too much? I got a large 3 inch carrot slice. Overall, mixing it up with the tahini and hummus, you got a nice fresh crunch bite each time. I barely could finish the bowl so it's a generous amount for a meal. I liked it and wanting to try other ones to see how they are! 4/5 Zucchini Cauliflower soup - at first I thought this would be a bland mushy soup and I was very wrong. It was a very creamy soup and full of zest with a good helping of spices and pepper. They mentioned it had no cream either so for all vegans, this soup is perfect to get your body warmed up without feeling bloated or heavy either. For the addition of $5 to the bowl, it was generous and huge portion. 4/5 What's not to love... great tasting food, healthy, generous portions, great space, and fairly affordable. It's so hard to find spots like this in Toronto so when it's good, it's definitely a spot to keep coming back to.

K&K Paleo Bowl with roasted cauliflower (5/5)

This would be my favourite place in Toronto: their salads are amazing. During lunch hours it gets really busy but the food is so worth the wait! I especially love their First Canadian Bowl and soups. They also have amazing desserts, juices and latte with cashew milk. Would be coming back again! I wish I could eat here every day but that would would definitely be too expensive. Salads cost starting $12. Also their sweets and tests are delicious. Starting from chia pudding (the small one, I was not a fan of their large chia pudding as it was too hard and bland), and their protein/energy balls. Also try their smoothies. They are expensive but really good.

This location offers more than just take-out / grab-and-go items. There are seatings and drink options. Menu is similar to the menus in other Kupfert & Kim locations, with consistent quality.

It was so packed but my brother was able to save a table while I did the ordering. This was a very casual and self service type of restaurant in which you can order at the front desk or at their kiosk. They had a limited time "promotion" going on in which you can order a maximum of 2 orders of their xiaolongbao or steamed mini soup dumplings for $2.99 with a minimum spend of $10. But honestly, I've seen this promotion since last year so I'm thinking it's actually a permanent offer. We ordered two orders of their pan fried pork buns, 1 order of their pan fried chicken dumplings, and 2 order of their promotional steamed mini soup dumplings. I thought everything tasted pretty good. The pan fried buns and dumplings were very crispy and quite juicy. My only nitpick is that I wished they put some kind of veggies or chives in their filling. It was just meat and felt too 1 dimensional for me. The steamed mini soup dumplings was actually really good though which is such a surprise at this price point. The outer layer was very thin and the filling was packed with soup. It was very delicious and hearty. Are these the best Chinese dumplings and bun's I've ever had ? No, but they were great especially for the price point. I would definitely come back again next time I am craving Chinese dumplings and buns. Also they take Amex which is always a plus in my book.

The atmosphere is no-frills, but don't let that fool you--the dumplings are definitely the star here. The service is quick and efficient, perfect for grabbing a bite in between exploring the bustling streets of Alexandra Park. If you're in the area and want a taste of traditional Chinese dumplings at a reasonable price, Juicy Dumpling should be at the top of your list!

The station burger was the best burger of my life. I had originally wanted to order the duck, but knew at my first bite exactly why Richmond Station is so popular. We came here to celebrate my mom's birthday and chose the tasting menu. To start, we were served a small bite of salmon tartare, which was quite flavorful. The scallop appetizer was refreshing, while the asparagus course felt a little underwhelming as a standalone dish. The two main courses were the highlights. The wild Quebec bass was fresh, tender, and perfectly cooked. The chicken was incredibly juicy and well seasoned. Although it came with a butter-based sauce, it wasn't heavy at all and paired perfectly with the bread. For dessert, the first one was a bit too sweet for my taste, but the ice cream was quite tasty. The six-course tasting menu was just the right amount for the two of us, although it might be a little small for bigger appetites.
