When I first took Romeo to PawsCLE, they were super open and helpful and let me see the layout so I could determine that it would be safe for Romeo to stay there due to his limited sight. I was anxious about leaving him somewhere new, but everyone was so helpful and thoughtful. Fast forward four years, and Romeo can't wait to go to daycare. He learned to climb steps because of PawsCLE, gets excited when he realizes we are driving to daycare, and literally runs toward the staff when I drop him off. They go above and beyond to accommodate his blindness, from tapping on the floor and surroundings to help Romeo orient himself, to giving him a lift up when he doesn't feel quite sure of himself. When Romeo had to have his second eye removed, his schedule got thrown off and going to daycare was the only thing to keep him on schedule and sleeping through the night. We are forever grateful to PawsCLE for helping us keep our sanity and keeping Romeo happy. I feel so safe dropping Romeo at daycare. I know the staff genuinely care about him and that he is super excited to be there.

I wanted to bring him here because he has a history of behavioral issues and everything online says this place works with and has experience with these dogs. He was being aggressive towards one of the workers. I'm not condoning my dog's behavior and they did give him a second chance. But the first day I also walked in the guy that works there was yelling at my dog to stop while my dog was frantically yelping and the guy was trying to clip his nails. The second day, we were shown a video of his behavior and it was definitely atypical for my dog at this stage and way more aggressive than we've seen from him in a long time. BUT the guy was walking past the crate feeding him treats while he was acting that way - which is basically reinforcing that behavior (so we were taught with his prior training), instead of correcting him with the shock collar - which is what is supposed to be used for. I'm not saying this place doesn't have nice personnel, they were very accommodating despite My dog's issues and I can't blame them for not wanting their staff to get hurt. However, my issue is with all of the advertising about "working with dogs with behavioral issues" - they certainly did not handle my dog well when he was acting this way and therefore that experience they claim did not seem to be true in my case.
