So boom--my wife is on a mission to grab Jamaican food from a strip mall, and I'm just minding my…read morebusiness... until I spot Sweet Red Peach. And let me be clear: I do not, under any circumstances, walk past a dessert spot like I've got self-control. That's just not who I am. I slide in there late in the day, and of course--they're sold out of half the menu. But honestly, that just told me everything I needed to know. If a dessert spot is selling out, they're not playing games. Luckily, the universe was on my side because they still had strawberry banana pudding... which is exactly what I came for. I took one bite and immediately paused like I just unlocked a childhood memory. I'm talking grandma-in-the-kitchen-on-a-Sunday type flavor. It was so good, I looked down at the cup, then thought about my four-year-old at home... and had a real moral dilemma about sharing. (Don't judge me.) The spot itself is small, but one of the customers told me when they first opened, there was a line out the door--which I 100% believe. Even when I went (late AND with half the menu gone), there was still a solid line. That's never a bad sign. Long story short: I came for "just a quick stop" and left planning my next cheat day like it's a holiday. I will absolutely be back--and next time, I'm getting there early... and maybe buying an extra pudding so I don't have to pretend to share.

So happy I stumbled upon this place! The hours are a little unique, so I used to walk by and wonder…read moreabout it. After picking up bagels next door one day, I finally decided to stop in. I was sooo bummed that I had already grabbed breakfast, but did that stop me? Nope. The pastry counter is my weakness, and this one is incredible. The pastries stretch the entire length of the counter, and everything looked amazing. The space itself is on the smaller side and gets busy, so I recommend grabbing your order to go. Both the pastries and drinks are fantastic. I've also tried their bagels, which I really enjoy. My only wish is that they had at least one sweet bagel option, like chocolate chip or cinnamon sugar. The staff are friendly, and they move quickly, which I always appreciate. This might be my new favorite neighborhood spot. I'm grateful it's within walking distance because I've already been since my first visit. 10/10!

Either it was overcooked or they gave me a really old one cause it was inedible. They did not warm it or heat it, so if that's how they serve their pastries then pass, it was such a disappointment cause visually they look great. I'm hoping I just got a bad batch because it was so hard. Imagine a croissant baked 10 days ago left out on the counter, that's how hard it was. Also the employee was aloof and kept staring into the distance for extended periods of time, we asked some questions when he was helping us and he was legit in a trance staring into the ether.

There was already a line to get in at this time. They were fully stocked on their croissants and I was bummed to see that they only had two savory options: Greek Princess ($5.50) and Ham & Cheese ($6). The Burbank location has at least four savory options to choose from. Still, their croissants are so good - huge and perfectly flaky. When it comes to desserts, I always get a Napoleon ($9) since it's my favorite and they make it well. I tried the Tropical Mango ($11) and Framboiselle ($9.50) for the first time and they were really good! They have both become a new favorite of mine and I will order them again! Service was great as well. I just wish that they would carry more savory croissants at this location.

Tera was super friendly and helpful, and took the time to walk me through the options and make recommendations. Her attitude really made the visit better, and that's the main reason I'm leaving a 5‑star review. I'd come back and would recommend this spot, especially if Tera is there.
