My credit card was charged immediately and I received an order confirmation. For several months, the car seat never shipped. During that time, communication from the shop initially seemed reassuring. Up until around January, I did receive responses, but each time I was given a different explanation for why the order was delayed and was repeatedly promised that it would ship soon. Over the course of these conversations, I was told the delay was due to things like tariffs, updated product codes, the color being in high demand, and other supply issues. Each time I was told it should ship in the next few weeks or months. Unfortunately, the item still never shipped. After months of waiting and repeated promises that were never fulfilled, communication eventually stopped altogether. I was left with no real resolution and ultimately had to dispute the charge with my credit card company in order to recover my money. After looking into this further, I found that other customers have reported similar experiences online. My advice to anyone considering ordering from this business is to proceed with extreme caution. Charging customers immediately for products that are never shipped and repeatedly delaying with new explanations is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. They claim to reopen in 2027. I hope they never reopen at all. Happy ending: I was able to order the Nuna car seat in the Biscotti color from a reputable retailer once it was back in stock, and it arrived quickly and exactly as promised. I only wish I could get back the months I spent chasing updates and excuses from The Piccolina Shop about why my order hadn't shipped yet. Thankfully my credit card company stepped in and refunded the charge during the dispute process. Lesson learned: I'll be sticking with reputable retailers who actually deliver the products they sell.

Going into a Lilly store isn't an everyday occurrence for me, since there's only three stores in all of Connecticut. You have to truly love what you're getting from a Lilly store, an acrylic (which isn't my favorite material) sweater will run you $118. The store is beautiful and their staff is lovely.

After about 12 business days, I called the store. I asked them about my order and the lady on the phone just said to me, "Call back on Monday." and that was it. So I sent in another email. No response to that one as well, but I gave it time. When I got to about 19 business days with still no shipment sent out, no updates whatsoever, and no response to my emails, I looked for the Wee Mondine promotional emails I had been getting and messaged that email instead. It took 11 days to get a response. They said they would look into it. a few more business days passed and I decided to call the store again to ask if they had checked on it. A different person answered and said they weren't sure if they had it in stock but they would ask their boss. Finally felt like I was getting somewhere! Then a little while later I received an email saying that they never had that outfit to begin with. Then they offered to give me a different outfit or a refund. I asked for a refund-which did go through so I give them that. But ultimately this was the WORST customer service I have ever experienced and I intend to do my research into stores like this from now on.
