    Homemade vegetable soup
    Ashley W.

This is a little gem. I love this place. Everything is homemade and delicious! Today I had a cup of vegetable soup and a tuna sandwich and it was delicious. They always have specials. Today the special is Pinwheels or Kale Salad, the quiche is broccoli or club. They also have a special, that is one cup of the special soup, one of the special main entrees (quiche or sandwich) and a dessert for $10.00.

I have to say I was not planning to eat the cinnamon rolls our table ordered but it took one little bite for me to devour the whole roll. Simply delicious. Everything about this place speaks to elevated dining, warm ambience, and personalized service. My server Josh was friendly, personable, and attentive. The food was definitely the highlight of the experience. I ordered The Skylark, their eggs Benedict, with a side of cheese grits, and this may rank as one of the top five best eggs Benedict I've had. First, the cheese grits are so savory and flavorful that I might consider returning simply to have more of the cheese grits. The eggs Benedict itself is plated in an artistic manner, and every bite is packed full of delectable details. From the tender Buttermilk Biscuit base, to the thick cut spiral ham, as well as the perfectly poached egg and some of the richest Hollandaise sauce you may ever try, the Skylark eggs Benedict is a true winner. Yes, I would definitely consider returning, and I would highly recommend others try Morningbirds Restaurant in Roswell. Cheers

I also love the Ocean Blue Thai Tea with coconut milk, which is such a fun and delicious option. The London Fog is pretty good too and makes for a nice switch-up when I'm in the mood for something different. Food-wise, I really enjoy their avocado toast, and the French toast is pretty good as well. The atmosphere & the matcha lol is what really keeps me coming back though it's cozy, aesthetically pleasing, and a great café to settle in and be productive for a while. Overall, it's a spot I frequent often and would definitely recommend if you're looking for a cute coffee shop/ café with good drinks, good food, and a nice vibe.

But I do want to be honest about the service time. This is now the second time we've come in and waited an extremely long time just to be greeted or get drinks. The first visit, we waited about 40 minutes before anyone came to our table. This time, we waited around 30 minutes with no water, drinks, or anyone taking our order. I usually come with my kids, and by that point they were starving, so we ended up leaving and ordering our food to go instead. The crazy part is we usually know exactly what we want right away, so it's not like we were taking extra time deciding. We ended up going next door because the wait was much quicker. Again, the food here is genuinely so good, and the people are very kind, which is why this is disappointing. I'm not sure if they need to hire more staff or improve the flow of service, but hopefully this improves because we really do love this place and want to keep supporting them.

I finally got to attend this place and always wanted to try it since I moved to the Atlanta area…read more I've heard nothing but great things about it. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. It's a beautiful restaurant inside meaning it's good for a date, a night out with friends or family, or a great place to celebrate for a prom or graduation. It's more upscale than a traditional restaurant however I loved it! I came here with my business coach since I won a competition and the prize was to have lunch at the place of my choice. She ordered the soup of the day, which was like this cheddar soup that came with these two sauces, which one of the sauces was a jalapeño based sauce, which was spicy, but not too spicy to wear it wasn't edible. She did like her soup and she also ordered the lobster and smoked Gouda ravioli for her entrée. She had no complaints considering she bagged the food up to go and wanted to finish it right there, but she couldn't. Lol. I ordered the twin seared chicken, which is actually half a chicken pan seared. My chicken was so delicious! It was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection to where it was fall off the bone. Just how I like it! The rice and the green beans paired well with it. My rice was cooked well, meaning it was not mushy or hard. And my green beans were a great consistency as well. My little one had a chicken tender salad since she loves cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, pretty much anything that comes in a salad that's not the lettuce. Lol. I must say I was impressed by the size of the salad because it was huge for a child. It would be great as a size salad for an adult. The chicken tenders were an amazing size, bigger than what most restaurants would give especially for a child's plate. I was highly impressed by the size of the portions for the children because the price is pretty standard for a kids meal entrée in comparison to other restaurants that give less. Our service was awesome! I wouldn't expect anything less considering the ambience of the restaurant. Our server was attentive, and he even bagged up both of our meals for us. This place is a 10 out of 10 and yes, I will be frequenting this restaurant a lot more in the future, even if it's by myself to sit at the bar.

Honestly everything about the place is pretty on point, it's an upscale restaraunt with alot of exposed wood, spacious, well thought out originally. The staff has always been corteous and knowledgeable, the menu always a great diversity (main courses, salads, starters - you name it, always slightly original and inspired) Personally though, it's more of a 'bring a date spot' eating in the dining room (cozy setting) and the bar is a dark area. During covid they removed the patio, so there is actually no outdoor seating anymore. I think that's why I most find myself not going there - is the dining and bar areas aren't super to my liking, I like bright and airy feeling venues. But they do have some live music and specials every day during the week that do make it appealing to be here different days otherwise which is brilliant marketing.
