We had taken a tour of downtown Roswell and were interested in grabbing lunch before a lengthy drive home. I had found this place online and it looked interesting. The restaurant is located about a quarter mile north of the heart of Roswell's center / restaurant district. It is built into an old house, and uses the backyard as the parking lot. There is only one entrance / exit driveway, so it can be challenging to get out. During the day, they appear to share the lot for the adjacent restaurant (which is dinner-only) so if I returned I'd probably try to park there instead. We arrived around 12:30 p.m. on a Saturday. We waited in line about 10 minutes to place our order at the counter. They had some tables inside (spread across multiple rooms) and many picnic tables outside. The food was pretty good. I think I got a BLT and my wife got a chicken or fish sandwich. I think there was a salad involved in someone's dish, which was also good. Everything tasted fresh. If you don't mind crowds, this is fine. There was a constant stream of people placing orders, picking up food, etc. That is not a criticism, just a fact. This is not a quiet lunch, but it is a good lunch. I'd consider returning here if I wanted lunch in Roswell.

Phenomenal, hands-down the best RUben sandwich I've ever had!! and let me tell you I've tried plenty in Chicago, Boston, California and Florida but this takes the cake!!

My friend and I were thrifting around the area and had never been to Roswell before. We drove down a strip of restaurants in cute houses, and the Fickle Pickle stood out. I'm so glad it did! I'm all about a restaurant in a house because I love the cozy feel. The line was really long, but it moved quickly. They had an Italian sandwich for the special so I got that with a Caesar salad and you get a loaded sandwich. We also tried their pickle flight and fried pickles, and all of the pickles tasted fresh and flavorful. If you are in the area I'd definitely recommend!

The outside and inside are a cute and historic old Roswell house. The staff are all very helpful and friendly! We ordered the fried pickles and pickle sampler, both were fantastic!! I don't like bread&butter pickles, but even those were ok my Brie BLT is now one of my favorite sandwiches, and my husband loved his Creole Cuban

--had to come after seeing andy's hilarious & wholesome tiktok video-- catfish & green tomato sandwiches were both delicious!! the soup of the day (clam chowder) was extremely unique/delicious as well, highly recommend! and of course, the fried pickles were *chefs kiss* there's a lot of indoor and outdoor seating; the airconditioning in the back unit area is SO powerful and refreshing! felt amazing to walk inside and use the bathroom in there after eating outside in the summer heat/humidity staff was very attentive & service was prompt! would def come again & highly recommend!

I wanna love this place, really. I'm going to be in the minority here, but honestly, I don't think it's that great. I know lots of people love this place, but when I went back recently, it wasn't the place I remembered from awhile back. This place is super quaint, running out of an old, historic house. It's very popular for lunch as the line and the small, gravel lot fills up shortly after they open at 11. If you drive into the lot and find it full, good luck backing out. It's tight. In case you miss the signs, there's additional parking at Osteria Mattone. I was pretty excited about the cuban thinking ... a place with pickle in the name serving a sandwich that has good pickle presence ... should be legit. It was good, decent. The creole thing gave it a nice punch. It's just not a cuban. Not on the right bread, not the right kind of pork, etc. The coleslaw I ordered was less like salad and more like soup. Tuna melt was good but again nothing epic. Potato salad definitely not my favorite. Now, I will say those fried pickles breaded in cornmeal and deep-fried are worth coming for. Delicious!

Great little gem in downtown Roswell for lunch. Parking can get crowded so get there early if you can. It is a cute little house converted to a restaurant with outdoor seating too. The menu has interesting options with a southern Cajun flair. Their fried pickles with remoulade sauce are outstanding. I have yet to find better fried pickles. Their ooey gooey sandwich is a great pimento cheese, bacon and red pepper jelly on grilled sourdough bread. I also enjoy the spicy Charleston chicken with old bay seasoning and sweet pickles. I would skip the wedge salad and get potato salad or sweet potato fries next time.

Is this a place one could also go to study?

I would say no. Crazy Love Coffee shop across the street is better.

They were not open for Labor Day. Super disappointing to drive there and then be closed

After going to the Atlanta Christkindl Market and trying pierogis for the first time and falling in love with them, I wanted to find a spot that actually sold them in store. The lady behind the counter explained all the food available to us so service was very friendly. There are a small number of tables for seating, so the ambiance inside is not loud. We got the Pierogis (Meat & Potato + Cheese) and Cucumber Salad. I loved the potato and cheese pierogis! I got them with caramelized onions and a cucumber salad on the side (there were other salad options), which had a nice dill dressing on it that paired well with pierogis. The pierogis were really soft and chewy, which I think is how they are meant to be made, but I wish the pierogis were a bit less doughy for my taste bud preference. My friend really liked the pierogis with meat, although I am not sure what kind of meat was used. This is a really quaint eatery! I think if you have not tried Polish food, then this is the place to go. I will say it was a bit pricey? Almost $16 for five pierogis (albeit they were large and filling) and a side of salad. Overall, I would probably rate this place a 4.5/5 stars if I could.

The only positive is that the bagels and contents are still pretty good. The other continuing issue is the place is always super messy, with trash cans overflowing and tables covered with debris from other diners. You will have to clean your own surfaces. I hope the manager/owner is reading all reviews, because the John's Creek location needs an employee attitude and cleanliness overhaul. They should hire an extra person to bus/clean tables during peak hours.
