Had one of my fillings replaced by Dr. Szymkowiak; her work was excellent! Having recently moved here, I had no idea which dentist to go to, but I had a good feeling about this clinic. Scheduling an appointment was easy, the receptionists were courteous and Dr. Szymkowiak was so kind and gentle. I had Anna Szymkowiak as my dental provider for almost two years. I decided to stop seeing her because she was unable to identify deep pockets left behind from wisdom teeth removal, which has led to bacterial infection and a 9 MM DEEP pocket. I am very disappointed. Szymkowiak recommended an oral surgeon in town for my wisdom teeth removal, which turned out to be a terrible experience, resulting in the infected pocket in my tooth. This almost feels like a scam. read more

Dr. Anna and her staff are absolutely wonderful. As someone else mentioned, she does the cleanings herself and she's incredibly cheerful and easy going. Scheduling appointments is always easy and the location is right off the freeway. Most importantly, why I trust her: When another dentist in the area said I needed several cavities filled immediately, I made the pilgrimage to my trusted family dentist two hours away who said that based on my dental history, it should be monitored over time to look for changes and that I did not need any cavities filled. When I first went to Dr. Szymkowiak, I was so nervous, Gentle Dental dentist had done a number on my tooth, so being unsure at first and needing tooth care I was met by a very warm staff office. Dr. Szymkowiak knowledge was so obvious, I was able to relax in the chair knowing that I wasn't going to be harmed again. She never rush's her care, very meticulous in her dental skills. Went to Max Haws for years, one of the best... when he stopped taking insurance, we were on the hunt for another good dentist. Went to a couple for work, and interviewed even more. Found Dr. Anna and she's been a gem the last few years. Very friendly, but most important is a good mechanic. Does her own cleanings and is very thorough. She knows what she's doing... My first experience of visiting dentist Anna Szymkowiak was incredible. I had a cleaning scheduled and couldn't find a sitter for my 4 year old so I had to bring him with me. They not only accommodated my son by setting up a blanket in the room for him to play with toys we brought but they also allowed him to play with all of the fake teeth molds on the shelves, the dentist was so loving with him even when he kept asking a ton of questions while she was working on my teeth; She was so patient with him. Then she let him pick a toy out of a huge toy bucket afterwards. As for the work done on my teeth, she was wonderful with the cleaning and scrubbed some coffee stains off without trying to upsale me on whitening or try to convince me it was a cavity (yes, that's happened to me before). She showed me in the X-rays that there was a dark spot on a molar that they'd just keep an eye on it, instead of jumping right into "needing to redo the cavity" which my last dentist did. She was kind and didn't push me to go to an orthodontist for braces, which eventually I'd like to get. It was an excellent experience from the first to last moment I left that office. I'm so glad I finally found a good and honest dentist. read more

Very professional and very nice, but most importantly she does a great job. Dr. Szymkowiak cleaned my teeth very well (I've been twice now) and took good care of me in the process. Possibly even more valuable, she is trustworthy. My previous dentist always had some sort of suggested unnecessary procedure to try and get more money out of me and/or my insurance - Dr. Szymkowiak has never attempted to upsell anything to me.
