I had asked her about parking situation, available garages, etc. prior to the 2-day class and made it seem like it was not a problem. 3.5 hrs driving into Brooklyn, only to find all parking garages are completely full, no metered parking and drive around for over an hour with no valid on street parking in sight. I had to turn back around and drive another 3.5 hrs back home. She did not even say "let's use your deposit towards another future class" or "Let ne refund your deposit gif such an inconvenience " I found her to be greedy and not understanding of the situation at all. You also need to bring all of your own supplies. Meaning not just your machine but pigments and needles. So be prepared to carry everything from your work into Brooklyn, walk a distance and lug it up mara it's to a studio without an elevator (which I also inquired about). Sign up at your own discretion. I rarely leave bad reviews but feel the professionalism could have went above and beyond. If she was willing to send a deposit back I most likely would have visited for other trainings. Seeing some of the reviews now I am noticing it may not have been a great idea.

Upon arriving at appointment Kait took a few pictures of my brows and we went over what my concerns were, what she thought would look best, color matching to my brows and proceeded to draw out on my brows with a brow pencil of what they were going to look like. Microfeathering itself is a bit different because she's hiding the hairs within the brows to mimic brow hair. She answered all of my questions and then put numbing cream on to sit for 30 minutes. The shop itself is relaxing and beautiful, and I hung out in a comfy blue chair as I waited. Also loved the 90s playlist. The process was painless and she let me look at what she was doing several times throughout the appointment with the hand mirror. Kait herself is sweet and we had some fun small talk during the appointment. It was also cool to learn that she had been a medical esthetician for 12 years prior to cosmetic tattooing. So lucky me, I got to have a free skin care consult and get her honest opinion on products and laser. When she was done, my brows looked amazing!! She filled in the sparseness at the ends I've always hated and then strategically placed strokes throughout the brow to make it look fuller. After we took some photos, she gave me the aftercare kit and explained the aftercare process. Basically no water on brows for 10 days and ointment for the first 2 days. Sounds tough but the kit has brow shields and ointment so it's really simple to follow. She told me to contact her with any questions I had. We then made the appointment for my touch up appointment and I headed out to show my brows to all my friends. *UPDATE*- it's been a month and I have saved 20 minutes every morning from not having to fill in my brows with pencil. I contacted Kait a few times because I wanted to know if certain things were normal ( now I know they fade during the process but come back a few days later.. phew!) and she was so sweet and responded quickly to any questions I had. She will also make suggestions based on her expertise. The process itself doesn't hurt too much- the pain is tolerable ! Numbing cream is applied before and in between the process as well. Mish makes sure to listen to your concerns about pain. I got ombré powder brows. Mish also does microblading and combination brows ! Careful after care instructions were given. Everyone's healing process is different - mine took a full 14 days to fully heal. I am about 2.5 weeks post first session and I love my brows! The end shape turned out great and there is a soft powder natural look. Great for my every day brow look and saves me time in the morning and I get to snooze my alarm an extra 5 minutes :p The location is in midtown east inside Rich Bich clinic. Nice and clean facility.
