I ordered the truffle, mushroom and oxtail flatbread, AMAX! Not stinging with any ingredients and a mouthful full of flavors, must try. My cousin got the chicken flatbread, it was good but I was stuck on my taste. She also ordered the vegan chopped cheese, it could have been good but the presentation was giving, sloppy Joe in a better bun. The hand cut fries that came with it were nicely seasoned and fresh potatoes were used. The ginger lemonade is very good, especially if you like ginger like that. The strawberry, ginger lemonade is really refreshing. A few days later, my son and his girlfriend ordered from there and they enjoyed their food, he got the truffle oxtail (doesn't like mushrooms) flatbread and his girlfriend ordered got the vegan bacon egg and cheese, in which they both enjoyed. It's a cozy little spot where you can have a bite to eat along with your cup of coffee. There are a few tables along the wall that's graced with some amazing artwork. Towards the front there's a small sofa accompanied by two chairs and a small coffee table. Lovely setup! We ordered a Cappuccino, Americano, Lemon loaf cake, and a Cinnamon Coffee cake. The cakes were fresh and delicious and our coffee choices were equally delicious. You owe it to yourself to visit Brooklyn Perk. Oh, I forgot to mention, there are also two cute benches right outside the shop to sit and relax on a nice day...sipping away!

The fourth request for half and half was finally successful, again the salt and pepper took forever, was promised more water which never materialized, the coffee warm up never came. In short, despite the positive menu the execution was two stars.

The individuals I support are on limited incomes and cannot afford meals from establishments such as yours, so they bring their own lunches while staff members purchase food and beverages from your business. A manager approached us and informed us that outside food was not permitted, even though purchases had been made. We were then asked to leave and eat outside in the hot weather. I understand that businesses have policies regarding outside food, and I respect the need to enforce them. However, I believe this situation could have been handled with greater compassion and understanding, given that the group consisted of individuals with disabilities who rely on packed lunches due to financial limitations. As someone who has consistently supported your establishment, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and empathy shown. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will no longer be bringing my business or the individuals I support to your establishment. I hope this feedback encourages your management team to consider a more accommodating approach when serving members of the disability community in the future.
