The staff was inviting and the food was meant to be savored. I love when eateries put their own creative twist on common menu items, like the chiktay avocado toast or kremas latte. Yes, you just read that! After one bite, I knew that I wanted more than just the one portion. I paired it with the Hibiscus Brew refresher, which was delicious and the perfect way to beat the heat. Are you swaying to the konpa music? You will! Congratulations on the recently-opened second location in Prospect Lefferts Gardens! I hope to visit soon.

There is some counter space, but mainly for standing purposes. I ordered a standard Iced Matcha Latte with Oat Milk ($7.35) and my friend got her usual Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte ($8). Docking 1/2 point bc the matcha is pre-made. I'm a fan of the whisking process bc I do believe there's a craft to matcha overall. Surprisingly, my drink tasted fine and my bev was a good color, so I was pleasantly happy. We waited less than 10 min for a table to open up, but you have to be there at the right time, otherwise you prob just grab your drink + go. Overall, glad I tried Kijitora. It's not my first matcha choice, but it was decent for a standard matcha latte. Their specialty matcha drinks look to have mixed reviews, but I'm personally not a fan of sweet drinks.

Add in tip and it becomes $10 which is steep for a matcha. The mango flavor was nice but overpowered the matcha, leaving not much matcha taste in the drink. The matcha is pre-batched which is disappointing, but seems to be common at matcha places in NYC. They do get the drinks out pretty quickly. The matcha tasted fine, but you have to mix well. There is a little seating available but it gets pretty crowded - definitely more of a to-go place.
