Great coffee shop - I can't wait to go back! Our server was so kind! She took the time to explain the menu to us, answer questions we had, and make recommendations. My friend and I were waiting outside for our drinks until we saw they were ready, but our server was so kind that she bought the drinks to us before we saw they were ready I got a cappuccino with a pump of cardamom syrup and it was so good! The syrup was flavorful and not overbearingly sweet. The drink was the perfect amount of foamy and 1 pump was the right amount of sugar for the quantity. The place is small so I'd recommend this for a grab and go coffee situation rather than a sit down or meet a friend here vibe.

Beautiful decor and really tasty sweet treats and coffee. The service was also exceptional. The lady that served us went above and beyond. This is a really great cafe.

The pastries were really good the first time around but the 2nd time they weren't. I would recommend they make sure their pastries are only sold fresh. The drinks are great. I had the strawberry cucumber refresher and it was on the salty side. The service was good but the screaming out the names very loud is a bit obnoxious especially when there are ppl working on their laptops. Maybe come and serve it instead? The place isn't that big anyway.

This tiny spot has some of the best coffee on this corner of Prospect Park! Not much room for sitting - not for laptop people - but perfect for a quick drink and snack. I got an almond pastry and it was a 5/5, fresh, soft and quality ingredients. There are 3 cheaper coffee shops near this corner of the park but this one has the highest quality. The place seems brand new and is very clean. Espresso was tasty, wish they had ceramic cups to enjoy inside. This is a coffee shop I'd expect to find in Windsor Terrace or Park Slope, fantastic seeing Flatbush step their game up. A couple shops in the area charge a similar price for espresso that is drastically less quality grounds and skill of people operating the machines.

    Adeni Shai

This neighborhood needed this! The Adeni Chai was so comforting and delicious and the perfect balance of spice, tea and milk. The tea was brewed strong, but not bitter, it was a perfect ratio of milk and the spices were not so much that it was numbing to the tongue but also not so little that it tasted.... not ethnic for lack of better words LOLLLL. The pastries were super flaky and yummy & it's warmed up in a toaster oven rather than a microwave as most cafes do so it isn't soggy, but rather warm and crisp. I got the baklava croissant which had the taste of a baklava without being syrupy or sweet, which was nice for me as I'm super prone to migraines but enjoy the taste of baklava. The pistachio croissant was soft and sweet and the filling tasted a bit like a very sweet pistachio cream cheese, which was okay in my opinion- not really my type but my friend did enjoy that a lot. The blackberry matcha HIT. It tasted fresh and fruity- not overbearing and not an artificial syrup taste, more like a classy almost dessert like feel without being too heavily sweet. The quality of the matcha was also very good and whisked very thoroughly. We were met with such beautiful hospitality and the barista, Xenobia was SO so so sweet and kind and generous and such a friendly person. She's also very talented in what she does because those drinks were amazing and I love her technique for making the blackberry matcha. She let us sample a summer drink that's in the works when we asked about the other flavor syrups and I'm SO excited for the summer refresher menu because it is just that- refreshing!! Hopefully they get a bigger location in this neighborhood because this would definitely be a hot spot for locals! Thank you Mokafe & thank you Xenobia for a wonderful time & an aesthetically pleasing setting despite being a small space

I went with two friends so were able to try three different sandwiches and to be honest, they were all just alright. The food: Roast Pork Special- Fried Eggplant, Provolone, Broccoli Rob- The texture of the pork came off a bit dry, the eggplant was good but kinda gets lost in the sandwich so if I literally had it on it's own I would have appreciated it more but who eats fried eggplant by itself? The rob was nice it added a nice crunch but didn't offer that much flavor. Giuseppe Special- Eggplant parm, meatballs, melted mozzarella. I couldn't get over how soggy the bread was. It was like wet paper towel to me. Soggy bread and everything kinda tasting the same made it underwhelming. Nicky Special- It just tasted like salad in between bread. There was so much veg, that was the main thing I remember in that sandwich.

And one of the greatest chefs I've ever had the pleasure to know. And I've known my share of cats who made their livings and their names in a kitchen. From the very first day I discovered Brancaccio's I felt a magic a connection that I knew would change my life, make my belly really f--kin' happy and set my soul a-dancin'. On that first day Joe and I talked about the great food of NY; most of it gone but not forgotten by those who were of the time. We both lamented the lose of the legendary Zito's bakery on Bleecker. I can't tell you how long it had been since I'd ran into someone who even remembered Zito's much less was intimate with the place. I knew I was home. This was well over a decade ago. I won't go into specific things on Joe's menu that are worth trying because quite literally... everything is amazing. It just is! Soul satisfying beyond my ability to do justice to. I'd also like to throw out as an example of the humanity of the joint and it's capt. Joe... Joe treats his employees with respect, R E S P E C T as Aretha belted, dignity and the aforementioned humanity which is beautiful and virtually non-existent these days as far as I can see... and you can taste it in his food. That's just a big-ass Right On! Finally I like to say two or three things: First that as I initially identified myself as "used to being a regular" as and this is by no means a boo-hoo thing simply a fact... I fell pretty ill for a while and am just now beginning my reentry into the world. And as a matter of fact during the recent drag of days for me a thought kept slamming into the walls of my head and that was that I couldn't wait to once again sink my teeth into Joe's food. Well that day is here and I'm salivating at the thought. "I'll take one of everything my man!" Secondly, understand I've never written anything like this... I'm actually down on the whole review culture. So if this sounds at all "over the top"... or written by a cousin who Joe owes money to, get that thought right out of your head. All of I said is sincere and one from the heart. And lastly an additional "oh yea baby" to Joe's taste in music.

Allow me to put it in perspective, this is gas station food on steroids. Located in Red Hook (and all it takes is to go outside and see you are in Red Hook), this nondescript bodega serves up one heck of a sandwich that will have you thinking, did I just eat that? This is not your ordinary New York bodega, this is the shop of General Ock, who sells various sandwiches in his renowned Ocky Way. So what is the Ocky Way? The Ocky Way is not just a sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and onions, it is also about presentation and style. The sandwich is made loudly with a flair for the dramatic, from the time your food hits the flat top to when it is center cut and put in a clamshell container. What about the food? It really is pretty good! I got the Chopped Cheese the Ocky Way and it was something I really enjoyed. I recommend you get it with the Jamaican Patty as that is what makes the flavors work best. You can also do it with a waffle or pancake or whatever bread you like. All you have to do is scarf it down. You can also put your own toppings on your sandwich if you want for an extra premium à la Farmer in the Deli style. Farmer in the Deli is another well known bodega in Fort Greene, known for finely chopping their meat into a sandwich, one I highly recommend as well. Even after writing this review, I still cannot believe what I ate here. Before I finish this review, I have to say one more thing. Neva neva neva forget to get a drink with your order!
