Angela's was hands down the best experience in every way. Setting up an appointment was easy and they were super accommodating. As soon as we walked in the door it was like going to try on dresses with women you've known forever. They had me fill out a sheet about my wedding and instantly looked up our venue and started ooh-ing and aah-ing over it. I was there with my mom and grandma and they introduced us to how the store is laid out and then let us go through and pick out the gowns I would try on. Some places are so secretive about what the bride is doing until she has a dress on, so I was happy that they got to be a part of the dress choosing. After that we started with just three dresses to gauge my reaction to those and went from there. The staff is SO knowledgeable about both the dresses and how a dress fits into the larger overall picture of a wedding. At other bridal shops you can feel like you might as well be buying a $50 pair of jeans for all that the salespeople know about dresses and weddings, but that is not at all the case here. They are true professionals, from the intern who was sitting at the front desk to the woman who helped me with dresses, to the other sales associates who are floating around the store. They all go out of their way to be helpful and truly succeed. As if the entire experience wasn't positive enough, Nora was definitely the brightest of bright spots. She is the perfect mix of easy going and open to you trying on the dresses that you want, but also she's not going to let you try on so many different dresses that you drive yourself crazy and don't know how to make a decision. From the second I walked in I felt as though I had known her forever and she was right there with us from the time I picked out to the first dress until I walked out with my dress (they were having a sample sale - icing on the cake!). She knew the dresses inside and out and was amazing at painting a picture of what each dress could be like for my particular wedding. Angela's is lucky to have her. The dress I bought I could have bought from other places, but I was more than happy to give my business to Angela's Bridal and I have been telling anyone who will listen since then that if anyone in the Berkshires or Capital Region needs a dress, Angela's is THE place to go.

So when our bridesmaids dresses came in A MONTH before the wedding they mistakenly ordered a size 16 dress for one bridesmaid when she ordered a 6. After much arguing back and forth they agreed to "fix" the "computer error" and alter the dress. They told the bridesmaid to come back in a week to pick up the dress. Well when she went to pick up the dress a week later they had her wait an hour because the dress was being "pressed" low and behold and out of options I'm sure they came back and told her they had not in fact done the alterations. This is Monday the wedding is the upcoming Saturday. Furious the bridesmaid who was 16 by the way informed her mother about what was going on. For the next hour her mothers phone calls were ignore then forwarded to a voicemail. After a voicemail being left they called back and said that technically since we signed a contract we don't have to speak to you about the dress only the bride. Absolutely never go to this place you're better off going to a place that values the customers and want to fix mistakes if they are made. No business is perfect but the lack of customer service and attitudes of the employees is enough for me to never step foot in there again and clearly write a yelp review about *******yelp tried to remove this because it "wasn't my first hand experience" but let me tell you it sure was!!!

We were in search of holiday gift ideas and purchases so we avoided the bridal entrance - you probably need an appointment to shop there in any event. As already noted, there are a lot of things for sale in the main store, and that may be a problem. While the clothing, almost exclusively for women ( I saw a sign saying they have men's hats and scarves) appears to be well organized by color, there is so much of it packed into racks and on shelves that it actually is a chore to browse. If you are looking for products made in the U.S.A. or Canada, there are options available. Staff were friendly and helpful in our search for personal care products. They offered to gift bag our purchase and removed all price stickers. However, when we requested who made their chocolate candy, the only response was that it came from a variety of places. As one other reviewer pointed out, an important feature that is lacking in the store is a restroom for customers. You may have to drive a mile or so to find one (Hannaford? Shop Rite?). No complaints whatsoever, and my dress fit like a glove. He was able to work with the multiple layers of tulle underneath my dress as well as the intricate bead and lacework, which was very impressive. We also got tuxes for my husband and his groomsmen for our wedding in 2015, and I absolutely LOVED how they all looked together. Great selection, and the time he spent with us during fittings was much appreciated. I will continue to see Futia's for any future alterations we may need.
