I usually sit in the empty booth chair next to hers while she's attending to my husband and we all just laugh and chat up a storm. Kevin is also very friendly and fun to chat with. This shop is close to home so it's a nice walk to and from. Christopher Salon offers a wide variety of services so I would recommend you give them a try. Parking is tight but there is a vacant business next door and side street parking. There are restaurants nearby if you need a bite to eat while in the area. The prices are reasonable and they take appointments and if you are lucky maybe a walk in.

Instead of the friendly atmosphere one would expect at a barber shop, I was met with rudeness that left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. She actually told me to leave the shop. I was 4 minutes late and had just put my dog down a day prior so I was already not having a great day emotionally. She was a TOTAL B$&@h to me. For NO REASON!! What really crossed the line was overhearing Jessica gossiping about other clients while I was getting my haircut by another stylist. It was not only unprofessional but also incredibly disrespectful. I couldn't believe that someone in her position would feel it was appropriate to talk negatively about customers behind their backs. It made me wonder what she might say about me once I left the shop. Her attitude throughout the few years I have been a client of ARi's. Jessica was simply miserable, and it was clear that she takes no pride in her work or in providing a positive experience for her clients. It's truly disheartening to encounter such negativity in a place where people go to relax and feel good about themselves. After this experience, I can confidently say that I will never step foot in Mustacios Barber Shop again. As she is the business owner this causes serious concern to the toxic environment that Jessica fosters.
