I had the Americano with SF White Chocolate syrup. I was going to get some half & half but they charge $2!!!! That was the only thing that would stop me from going back (or take my own!) We didn't go through the drive through but the way they have it laid out is awful. If you go inside park way out so you don't get blocked. Overall, very nice place. There is plenty of parking and they have a drive thru option. They have a nice variety of Hot and Iced drinks as well as some Frozen drinks and Smoothies. They also offer a small variety of baked goods and snacks. I tried a small Chai Tea Latte and a Cranberry Orange muffin during my visit. I was very happy with both. I was also happy to find that the prices were reasonable (both items were $7). The inside is pretty spacious, warm and very welcoming. They have 5 tables, comfortably seating 3-4 people each. They also have a nice couch and arm chairs near the fire place. You can find several outlets along the wall (they have USB outlets, too). There were only two staff members during my visit, but let me tell you, they were awesome! They welcomed every guest like they were old friends and they kept the drive thru moving. Seriously, the drive thru was flowing the whole time. I would definitely recommend the French Express and I look forward to my next visit.

The food display was empty. All the tables were dirty and had crumbs and even empty coffee cups on them despite me being in only person in there. I waited for about 5 minutes for someone to appear, and nobody did. I turned right around and walked out the door without any acknowledgment. Maybe I picked a bad day because of the holiday, but, from what I saw, it was dirty and nobody was there (employees or otherwise). Don't have the open sign on if you're not ready to serve customers.

Atmosphere is tragically lacking. It was completely silent for the first half hour then the same song was played over and over again (and very loudly). Then silence again. There is a large stage for events such as poetry night, open mic nights, and live music The shop offers a good mix of hot and cold drinks. I was very disappointed in the baked good options. In fact there were just some cookies in plastic bags. My latte was just fine and it was reasonably priced. Maybe their events provide a better experience. Based on this experience, I won't be returning.

Inside, they have several seating areas including multiple comfy nooks. They did a great job with the ambiance. Everything was warm and welcoming. Good for individuals or an 8-person group. The two-person staff did a fantastic job. One person in register and one on drive-thru. They kept things rolling and did not sacrifice service whatsoever. I tried a chai tea latte with vanilla flavoring. I think I arrived too late for some of the other baked goods, but I was able to try a delicious blueberry muffin. I suggest getting it warmed up.
