Love, love, LOVE Annie's Nails. My first time there and I called just to be on the safe side. Unlike other salons that tell you you have an appointment and still make you wait 20 minutes, Annie's sat me in 5. The pedi was fantastic, massage chairs were great, complimentary water bottle was over the top. I'm not sure who did my toes but she gave THE BEST foot/calf massages. Ever. In fact, I'm pretty sure Annie's gives longer than normal massages compared to other nail salons. Price was reasonable and I love that you can tip on your credit card. Found Annies nails from a friend employees...guess all his girls that work for him come here. Their nails always look great so thought I'd give it a try. Haven't gotten a pedi here yet but always go to ken now and he does a phenomenal job. He takes his time, does a Dam near perfect job guess other people know that too cuz he's always busy :) getting used to calling a day ahead at least for an appt :) I've tried a few other people here. Loved it! Massage chairs on point it. it was my first time here. Very nice and relax... busy tho so make sure to call and make an appt. I did call(friday), got an appt for 10am. And I was there a little earlier... they had the chair ready. It was perfect. I had a great experience. Great foot massage by Wilson, he did a great job on my toes. And I had Jenny for my nails I'm happy with the results cuz even tho my nails ar so short she did a pretty clean neat job with gel color and it looks very nice.very professional... affordable prices too! I am really disappointed. This is the worst pedicure paint job on my toenails that I have ever received. The paint is uneven and has bubbles, the color is all over my skin and it bled into all the cuticles. I had to go and didn't want to ask for a repaint as I didn't think if the nail person didn't care enough to do a great job the first time trying for a second time would not be accomplished any better. I will just NEVER go back. Be forewarned before you spend your hard earned money. read more

The prices are VERY cheap but my gel manicure chipped within three days. They're fast but they're fast because they're messy. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else. This place looks like they haven't redecorated since the 80s. Definitely not the "spa and relaxation" experience I was looking for. read more

Today I got their service for a first time. The service was just ok. On the phone the men told me manicure/pedicure french style price are $24.-, but they charge me $30 after service was done. Some workers are friendly, but some are like robots. I got an older lady to do a job. I have to remind a manicure lady to take off old polish cleaner. She was so in hurry, that some finger tips got with bubbles and wrinkles. I ask her to redo three times 2 fingers. When got outside, in my car, I so on some fingers still have exes polish on my skin. Anyway, will not coming back and will try different place for sure read more

I have had the best experience with Annie's nails. Not only are they clean I would regard them as fastidious. The staff is friendly and efficient with all the services provided. I have had facials, waxing, regular manicures, pedicures and have now graduated to gel nails. I know that the shop has handled many wedding parties, graduationing seniors and are able to schedule groups effectively. I moved to town about nine months ago from Santa Monica but at the time was still driving to the Valley to get my nails done (less & less frequently, I might add) because I couldn't bear to break up with my perfectionist of a manicurist. I had been going to her for at least ten years but the drive was killing me. I tried another place in the area (lQQk for that review to come) and it was horrifying. I figured all my fellow(ette) yelpers couldn't be too wrong so the next time I headed to Annie's. The gentleman who answered the phone took me at the last minute on a rainy Sunday and they actually seemed happy to do so. I was double*teamed by Mona & Helen and it was awesome. They got me all cleaned up, gave THE best massages, the massage chair was crazy good (although I thought at one point it was trying to suck me into another dimension! lol) and I was even offered a little bottle of water. Really? I had never experienced that at a nail salon before. Another thing that I'm wondering is a local thing is the hot towel treatment. I've been to a lot of spas and salons and have never had that during a mani/pedi. Anyway, it's in the cute little Mayberry section of San Pedro (or "Pedro", as I am learning) and the hours are very good for busy types. It was all good and I will definitely go back. read more

I go in with my mother to get a double pedicure, and first of all the foot spas that they place our feet in are dirty. The women did not speak to us at all! They're very rough when dealing with your feet!! And they don't even clean them well. The service is horrible! Once they're finished with you, they just leave you there...don't tell you that they're finished or how much you owe them... And to top it off the tools that they use are not sanitized! Annie's nails is very pricy! For both of our SIMPLE pedicures they charged us close to $50! I go to Four Season Nails on Gaffey and 15th Street which has amazing service, great and sanitized foot spas that are actually attached to the massage chairs! This place has great pricing! I've been going to Annie's Nails for about 8 months now. In the beginning, I was extremely pleased with my pedicures. Now, not so much. Do not see the younger male employee who works there. He's mediocre. The last pedicure I got was with him. I lost a toenail because it wasn't filed right and got snagged on my loofah in the shower. I also had to remove the polish on several other toenails because my nails were neither cut nor filed evenly. Not bad. I'm new to the area and trying to find my "go-to" for everything, and being a busy mom, a nail place is on that list! I made an appointment on a Saturday for a mani/pedi and brow wax. The salon itself is a little old, but it appeared clean and well kept. The massage chair was comfy, but the foot tub was detached and lined with plastic (I think that's a new thing now, nail places are trying to be more sanitary- it's the 2nd time I've seen it). The massages (both hand and foot) were fantastic! Not too rough and very long by nail salon standards. Both ladies did a great job with the mani/pedi, but the mani is already chipping (on Mon); it could be the polish I picked though. The brow wax was a bit lackluster, but it's not the worst I've had at a nail place. The price was VERY GOOD. I will need to keep going to Torrance for my brow service, but I think this place is definitely worth another shot for nails. read more

Ive lived in SP for 6 months now and have tried 5 local nail salons. And haven't found the one to replace my beloved Belmont Nails in Belmont Shores Long Beach. Yay for Annie! I just has the best pedicure I've has in 6 months. It's not fancy inside, but it doesn't need to be. The quality of the service shines!. The massage chairs were outstanding and the foot/leg massage I got was even better than the chair. I was lucky that Annie herself did my pedicure. I will be a regular here. read more

Best part about Annie's is it's CLEAN! Nothing is worse than a dirty nail salon. They have a great team of workers. I trust everyone will do a good job. Ken is definitely my favorite though. It's the best nail shop in San Pedro! I've been here maybe 10 times. I've gotten my eyebrows waxed, a manicure, pedicure, gel manicure, design, and a fill. I've tried it all and I love it all. Everyone that works there is so nice. I've been coming here randomly for the past two years or so. I've been worked on by just about everyone in the shop. I got my acrylic nails removed and I no longer do gel or get my eyebrows done so I come here every couple of months to get a mani pedi. They do a great job every time and the massage chair is SO AMAZING! It's $25 even for a mani pedi and I usally give a $5 tip. I don't know of a cheaper mani pedi in San Pedro that's just as good if you do please let me know! I have been cut many times, even when just getting a manicure but they are very professional about it and clean it right up. Accidents happen and that's the only negative thing I can think of about this place. There are men and women that work here as well as men and women that come here. It's a comfortable relaxing environment with great service. Id you're looking to get your nails done or get a wax this is the place to go! read more

My daughter and I go here any time we are getting our nails done. We always get good service. The owner or manager seems to really care about the comfort of his customers, even handing out cold waters on a hot day. My nails always look great and while it's a bit tough sometimes to communicate to certain girls, the price is fair and I'll keep going here. read more

I was looking for a good nail place in Pedro so I came to Yelp. Annie's had good reviews and the reviews weren't lying. This place is wonderful. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a nice old man and two adorable dogs that walked around freely inside. They sat me immediately, gave me a pillow to rest my hands on, a magazine, helped me pick out my color and immediately got to work. The chairs were so comfy and gave back massages. Wilson did my pedicure and I didn't catch the name of the girl who did my manicure. She wasn't very chatty. Wilson though was very nice and gentle. I walked in at 10am and told them I had to be out before 11am and I was. They didn't rush their service or do a half job. It was wonderful. Total I paid $40 but it was so worth it. $9 for a mani, $12 for a pedi, $5 for a callus remover and $5 for the design on my nails. The rest I left as a tip. Its not very fancy looking but boy oh boy they make up for it with their service and prices. I can't wait to go back. read more
