Ann's Restaurant was such a good brunch spot. We went on a Saturday morning and it was absolutely packed. We were lucky enough to squeeze into a table right away, but there was a line out the door shortly after we were seated. First off let's talk about the coffee. It was seriously excellent. I am not even a coffee drinker and I had three cups. It was just delicious. So flavorful and fresh. I ordered the meat lovers omelette. It came with bacon, ham, sausage, and American cheese. It also comes with gravy on top but I opted out of that..not a huge gravy fan. It was really really good. They do not skimp on the meats, every bite was full and hearty and just delicious. For as busy as it was service was pretty good. Quick overall and very accurate. There might've been one or two times our coffee cups went empty for a couple minutes but it was understandable. We were also sat at a table that was in the middle of a bunch of other tables and was kind of hard to access easily. So all things considered the service was pretty good. We would eat here again in a heart beat. Or just sit here and drink coffee for a couple hours..ha. read more

Ann's proudly proclaims itself "The oldest restaurant in Franklin" and it's obvious they have a very loyal customer base. Open for breakfast and lunch till 2PM, we had lunch while in Franklin for an appointment. I chose the breaded tenderloin (duh) and it was decent, but not stellar. I liked the flavor of the meat quite a lot, but the breading was quite bland. Just a little seasoning and it could be a wonderful sandwich instead of an average one. Service was stellar, and the sides were fantastic. We'll certainly be back, and I'll try something else on the menu. read more

This spot is a hidden gem in Franklin, IN. The food was fantastic, there was 6 of us so I had to taste everyone's dish. The biscuits and gravy were delicious there's nothing like eating homemade biscuits. I had the salad with strawberries and chicken. When the server brought the bowl out I thought I would not be able to finish it but it was so good I could not stop eating it until it was gone. I actually wanted to give them a 3.5. I was meeting a friend for lunch and checked yelp to see where to go. We decided on Ann's. When I drove up I realized my husband and I had been here before. Once my friend and I walked in we realized we would rather eat on the patio. We walked to the side door (near the patio) to be rudely told we weren't allowed to go out that way. I guess they expected us to go out the front door and walk to the side patio. That confused more than us! But thank goodness a darling waiter said he would take us outside. He turned out to be our water and I wish I remembered his name. He was awesome! He recommended the turkey melt and he was soooo right! Both of our lunches were great. Came out quickly and good. I was catching up with my friend and he never made us feel rushed. Will come back again. But remember to follow the patio rules! read more

We made trip down from Fishers (about 45 minutes) and thought it was worth the drive. Not every weekend, but once in awhile. Its a very cute breakfast/brunch spot. (Close at 2pm) We went for breakfast, but when I saw the breaded tenderloin (which was on about every 3rd table) I had to go for it. The breaded tenderloin is very good. Large but not overly tenderized. Good breading. Flakey but not seasoned (it could've used a little). Homemade potato chips are so so. Next time I would get a different side. Supreme omelette was very good. (It's a tri-fold style). It had really good sausage. Good biscuits and gravy. Light and fluffy. Potatoes are good, not greasy. Lots of seating at low top tables with unpadded wooden chairs. Some patio seating. The staff was hopping, and friendly. Seemed to be a lot of Franklin College students. It was great choice on a lazy Saturday morning with nowhere we needed to be. read more

Went here with on a dreary fall morning at the suggestion of my father in law. We booth stepped in and immediatley I knew this was gonna be good...and I was right. Perfect diner/greasy spoon spot with amazing breakfast. I had the country platter with the pork loin which I have never seen offered anywhere else before and why, i'll never know. The FIL had the same platter with chicken fried steak. EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME!!! Heading back soon. Perfect breakfast spot! read more

I love the location of Ann's restaurant in downtown Franklin. The restaurant had a fair amount of tables, and it's always busy! Parking isn't a problem either! I had the cranberry/apple salad, and it was great! The portion size was huge, and the chicken was cooked well! They serve breakfast all day, and it also looked great. This place screams small town charm, and it never seems to loose what makes it special. No matter how busy they are, they do a great job of accommodating everybody with friendly, attentive staff. We have brought our baby a few times and they are always so nice, patient, and helpful. The good old-fashioned diner aesthetic really makes it, and the good old-fashioned diner FOOD is great too. Went in for a quick bite during breakfast time around 9am, and the place was JUMPING. We sat ourselves and was promptly asked what we wanted for drinks. A nice waitress came and took our orders before we even took our coats off! I ordered the Rise and Shine with french toast and myyyy was that french toast good. Was coming up I-65 and decided to stop in Franklin,IN. Ann's won me over for some of the reviews. It was busy as can be on a Friday afternoon so I sat at the bar. Ann's menu has a lot of choices, I mean a lot. The part that impressed me the most was this place was slammed and the staff is on top of it. Horrible time today, we were the third family in line.there is no number service so you stand at the door or loose your spot..got seated in 20 min, I had to go ask for menus after we were seated. The floor was filthy and they didn't sweep but seated us anyway. They took our drink order 10 min later, there were two servers one brought the drinks one took our order and a different lady brought us our check..weird..the food took 30 min to get to the table and it was all cold..what a disappointment when going off the reviews on here...i had to ask when are food was going to be up and asked for the check immediately so that we didn't have to wait to pay..3 meals 22.00 cold and over one hour and 10 min later..we will never return. read more

My family and I just relocated to Bargersville and my husband who relies heavily on another app to find a restaurant found Ann's as being the number one restaurant in nearby Franklin...let me set the stage for ya...its a very wet and stormy Saturday. A good day for foodies to get out because you know, rain scares away diners for a more pleasant easy to seat dining experience.......... so we get there and it is apparent that there is something that calls to the masses and keeps every seat full with a line out the door! Even on a stormy Saturday...... we luck out and get a table straight away, but it was the last one...and start reviewing the menu which is LOADED with options. I just close my eyes and point to my selection which ended up being a club wrap with chips, my husband got the Grizzly and son got a spicy breakfast wrap with a short stack of cinnamon pancakes. We must have mentioned that we were new to the area because within minutes of placing our order a gentleman came to the table with a complimentary side of homemade chips, with ranch and a story. The restaurant is packed and busy, but he found 3 minutes to make sure he came over, welcomed us to the area and gave us a history of the good stuff this establishment spreads out to the community.I would love to go into detail but I would rather you go in and hear it for yourself, while enjoying the AMAZING food! About the food, I know the answer to my first statement about bringing in the masses.....well I know that the Cinnamon Pancakes were to DIE FOR! The rest of our food was so delicious as well, everything was made from scratch and delivered with the best service. Nice small breakfast, brunch and lunch eatery located by the Franklin Courthouse. They offer inside and outside dinning. A very busy eatery and typically a long wait. Food is tasty and nice portions; more of a diner food- not homemade! Some of our family members are allergic to gluten and they do not have many options available for them. Staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu choices but not able to accommodate for gluten free choices. Overall we were pleased with our choices and the serving staff. Side note, because there food offerings are not homemade there is a lot of MSG/ preserving in their foods which can and did upset some of our tummies. read more

Ann's is a downtown Franklin staple. Ask anyone around and they will be able to tell you their go-to order. For me it is the BLT (even for breakfast). My suggested picks off the menu include the BLT with house made potato chips and ranch, a tall fluffy stack of pancakes that even a pancake hater would fall head over heels for, and the Mexican breakfast burrito. They seem to be busiest around brunch time but if you see a crowd, don't worry. The longest I have ever waited is around 5 minutes and it 100% worth it! read more

The food was less, way less than mediocre. Burnt toast, chewy cold bacon, honestly, it was comparable to a Mother's Day breakfast made by a 10 year old! Love this place! I spent much of my career in sales and Management and I am in awe of the system management and staff have put in place and executed. You can see that there is great communication and the staff get along. They look happy to be there and that is rare nowadays. Beyond that, the food is terrific. One of the best little restaurants in Franklin Indiana. Since they reopened after the covid -19 scare, they added mire outdoor seating in the back ok the building. The food here is great. Some items you can get is not on the menu like cinnamon swirl pancake or blueberry pancakes. I get t Ruben but I ask for turkey meat instead of corn beef. They always have a weekday lunch special that's usually a really great deal. I call before I have lunch there to see what special they have that day and dessert. read more
