What a wonderful breakfast. A very busy and lively restaurant on a Wednesday morning. Had a delicious hot and spicy 3 egg omelette and wheat toast. This was cooked perfectly and was as good or better than those high priced places. Clean and cheery inside. Excellent service. Small parking lot. I tried a taste of the Pumpkin pancakes and they honestly were the best I've had. What a gem. Also a plus is that it supports a rehab facility. Great job.

HEROES!! I confirmed they support local drug rehab center in Franklin...thank you! Handsome husband and I drove to Franklin, IN today and found this charming breakfast/lunch restaurant since 1952. Biscuits and gravy were almost as good as mine and much better than other establishments. Chloe was our smiling, pleasant server. They appeared to have plenty of staff with speedy service. So, they definitely are doing something right. We will return!! Thanks for welcoming us. Plus easy free parking.

I was in Franklin to run an errand and wanted to stop for breakfast first. It was fairly busy on a Monday morning around 8am. It seemed like there were a lot of regulars. The first thing I noticed how good it smelled from the parking lot before I even got inside. I had a coffee and the scrambler. Everything came out piping hot. The scrambler had hashbrowns, onions, green peppers, scrambled eggs, all topped with sausage gravy. Plus a side of toast. Everything was delicious! My server was attentive and checked on me often. There are about 20 tables inside plus a few tables outside as well. It has a great view of downtown Franklin and it's on separate parking lot. Definitely worth stopping in!

Breakfast. Eggs, bacon, hash browns, pancakes and coffee for $11.99. Fantastic deal!

Great service! Friendly wait staff and fantastic value for the price! Paid 11.99 for coffee, pancakes, eggs, hash browns, and bacon.

Wanted to try out Ann's after driving by it near the downtown square of Franklin. Looked neat like a retro breakfast dinner with its big windows. So the next day we went for brunch since they are only open until 2p. Has the same justly vibe I expected when we went inside. Very busy and lots of staff helping people. You could hear the orders coming up nonstop and lots of people chatting in the Dining area. Neat and not like anything else I've been to in a while. We sat quickly and were helped promptly despite how busy they were and our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Always a plus! I ordered the breakfast combo that came with 2 eggs, French toast and I got fried potatoes with it instead of meat since I'm vegetarian. Nice they could accommodate me. The food all came out and looked amazing! Was very impressed with how my eggs were cooked and the French toast with cinnamon roll topping was my fav! The fried potatoes were ok, to me they seemed bland but the meal was so large it didn't matter. I really Enjoyed their delicious French toast!! Def worth trying :) Overall enjoyed the atmosphere, food and courteous staff! Can't wait to go back for another brunch and priced affordably as well most options around $8or 9. Check them out if your in Franklin it's great!

This place wasn't bad. It isn't a big place so we had to wait a little bit. I liked the Rise and Shine Breakfast. I wouldn't mind coming back to try the lunch menu. It was busy so that is a good sign. Staff was friendly and food was good.

It was a super cute restaurant in Franklin, IN. The weather was so nice, we sat outside at a picnic table ! I ordered the strawberry spinach salad with a raspberry vinaigrette. Not only was it presented beautifully, it was absolutely delicious ! Definitely more than enough to be filling. We also shared one of their pancakes, deemed "the best around"! I would definitely agree with that statement. I would definitely return if I'm ever in Franklin again !

And he said the menu will expand again soon. Since I was by myself and he had some time, he sat down and we chatted for awhile. The seating at both restaurants, and you can call them that now since they do not just sell drinks anymore, has been greatly expanded both indoors and outside. He also told me they are working on opening a Plainfield location. I ordered my usual The Slugger on a biscuit for my bread choice (4) with sausage for my meat choice (3) and provolone for my cheese choice (5). It was superb and just how I remembered it from the other location when I was eating breakfast there several days a week about a year ago. I also ordered one Biscuit & Gravy which was excellent as well. I love small local business establishments and cooking. They always have great service and a friendly atmosphere. I hadn't heard of Dale's until she told me about it. Par for the course, I made sure to check them out on Yelp first. It's a pretty good sized place with additional outdoor seating. It's very spacious and spread out without the tables being crammed together, including the booth space. It had a fresh looking and clean appearance too. The decor is pleasant. The place seemed to have an ample sized crowd when we arrived. We were seated right away and we had a kind and informative server. Dale's only serves breakfast and lunch and then they shut down early. They do not do dinner apparently. It seems they serve breakfast all day along with some lunch options. We decided to eat lunch because we got there a little bit after noon. The special of the day was sloppy Joe's. I decided to have a pork tenderloin sandwich with fries and coleslaw and my guest decided to get the sloppy Joe's special with fries. On a 10 scale, the coleslaw was a seven, the tenderloin sandwich was a nine, and the fries were an eight. The sloppy joe was a six. I think the reason why the sloppy Joe didn't rank higher is because it was just dry loose seasoned hamburger meat. It didn't have any sauce in it whatsoever to hold it together. It was more like a loose meat sandwich or a taco burger. Those sandwiches are generally drier and crumbly in texture. I also like the option of having some cheddar cheese with a sloppy joe, or any similar hamburger type of sandwich. I would definitely consider coming again and trying something different. I noticed they had some comfort food classics on their menu like ex: chicken and dumplings and meatloaf. I hear they're usually pretty busy and packed when it comes to their breakfast crowd. This restaurant is doing things the right way from what I can tell at this point. The bathroom was average in cleanliness, presentation/appearance. I stand by giving them a strong 4 star rating for them which stays on course with their already established 4 star rating.

She even has a menu item named after her" Peggy's Pancakes" which my son noticed right after she introduced herself. I thought that was a cute touch. The dining area has both booths and tables, and they had a fun Dalmatian fire hydrant decoration near the host/hostess stand that added character to the space. They serve Pepsi products for drinks. My son got lemonade and I just got water. I ordered the Sami, which came with country fried steak, two eggs over medium, hash browns, and two pancakes for $14.99. Peggy said that was a good choice, and my meal was tasty. The portion was filling and the pricing seemed reasonable. My son got the Big Daddy for $13.99, which came with two meats (he chose sausage and bacon), three eggs, hash browns, and two pancakes. He really enjoyed his meal and we both left completely full.

The omelette was one of the best if not the best I've ever had. Stuffed FULL of all the mix ins and cheese with yummy breakfast potatoes. The star of the show was the gluten free pancakes. The cocktail actually had some heat, and the glass was rimmed with Everything Bagel Seasoning. I'd never had that before. It was a tasty touch. The candied bacon garnish was divine. We ended up ordering a second round. The Jalapeño Deviled Eggs are outstanding. Smooth and creamy, topped with jalapeño and candied bacon. Every bite was a pleasure. For entrees, I got the Bourbon Jalapeño Shrimp. It had a light kick and tasted incredible. My husband ordered the Rise & Shine Chicken Biscuit. It was all tasty, but that biscuit was fluffy and salty, exactly how a good biscuit should be. Our server made the whole meal. She was friendly and patient with me even though I was having more trouble than usual deciding what to order. She also mixed our Bloody Marys, so she was working double duty and doing it well. It didn't take long to decide on the Eggs Benedict which came with choice of several sides: I went with the fresh fruit. The place was nearly full, yet it wasn't that loud. It made waiting for my order pleasant. My coffee got topped off a couple times and I really appreciated that the temperature was immediately drinkable while providing a deep rich flavor. My order arrived along with my bill (my waitress hadn't asked if there would be anything else and also forgot to bring silverware.) I grabbed a napkin-rolled set of utensils from the counter and dug into my meal. The Canadian Bacon was thick cut and tasty. The eggs were poached to where there was just a small trickle of yolk when sliced. The Hollandaise Sauce was okay, but not as flavorful as I've had elsewhere. The fruit was house cut, but wasn't the freshest. Still okay, but maybe it had been cut hours before. I appreciate that they provided a steak knife to facilitate cutting through the stack, including the English muffin on the bottom.
