When you step into this small cafe, hopefully, you will smell all the wonderful aromas of baked goods, hot coffee, and a wide variety of breakfast. Though I was instantly hungry, I managed to limit my to go order to a cup of coffee and a large blueberry muffin. The woman behind the order counter was friendly and efficient. (Note that they do have another room where a number of customers were dining, so I am not sure if they have wait service or if they had to order at the counter.) The muffin was fresh and cake-like in texture with a generous supply of blueberries, but not so many as to sink to the bottom. The small coffee was still quite large and was served at a drinkable temperature (that's a must for me!) The flavor was okay, but a pretty simple taste (compared to some of the great coffees I've had in Indy.) If you are traveling between Indy and Nashville, IN, make a point of stopping by. Nice little breakfast place/lunch place. Stopped and got a chai latte and a breakfast burrito and they made it to order. Staff was friendly.

The staff was extremely knowledgeable about their products and helped with any questions that we had. The owner was super friendly and also said she just opened a gift shop down the street and also lives in town. Her brother and one of her employees helped us the day prior and they live in town as well. They also have a coffee or tea to sample on a table in the seating area. There are a few tables to sit at and a couch and chairs in the seating area. They were 7 of us so we enjoyed many items on the menu. The highlights were vanilla chai latte (my fave), the peach tea, and the s'mores latte. There are plenty of items in the shop for purchase related to tea and coffee and you can browse for quite a while. I highly recommend this shop and the delightful owner and I will certainly stop in again.

We arrived on the main thoroughfare in Nashville on a Monday morning around 10:30 am in October - the high season in this leaf peeping area. Having stayed at an inn just down the road, we wanted to get a hot tea to warm up before our day off walking around town. We are so glad to have found Sweetea's! We got a great parking spot in the small lot and went right in. The shop is cozy and filled with teas, tea related gifts, and some other fun Brown County & Indiana knickknacks. I tried their cherry almond tea latte with oat milk and my mom had a maple tea. We both loved our selections. Exactly what we needed to warm up before a brisk shopping adventure. There's some family style seating at two round tables up front and a couch and chairs in the back. By the time we left people were starting to file in as the shops all opened up for the day. We were able to started parked in the lot while at the visitors center and the shops in the surrounding square which was very handy. Loved this place, will definitely be back next time we visit Brown Co!

I ordered a grilled cheese along with a sugar pie slice and a London fog. They have other baked good options which looked good too. The grilled cheese was very small and I think cheese got into the pan because it was also cooked onto the bottom side of the sandwich. It was a very small grilled cheese. The London fog tasted quite strong and the sugar pie didn't really stand out. There were other items on the menu though that I'd love to try if I ever go back. What I think took this down to 3 stars was the service. When I went to order, I was just stared at and I thought maybe they weren't ready for me yet but they were. There was just no greeting of "Hi, welcome in" or even a "What can I get for you?" It was just a stare and silence. Now the staff were not unkind...they certainly seemed friendly but that lack of greeting didn't feel great. Additionally, they were very quiet or mumbled when calling out orders and so it seemed like many people listening never heard their order including me. I also had to ask again for the pie after having paid. I bought a bandana as well and didn't see the price tag. When I asked how much it was the staff member said it was either 12 or 15 dollars. She rang it up as 15 when later I saw the price tag and it clearly said $12. I showed the staff member and she said it was $15 and it was a handwriting issue for the price tag. I rarely write reviews less than five stars but I do think if there could be a bit more initiative from the staff and orders called out more clearly and louder for drinks so they don't spoil that would really help.

I ordered a butterbeer latte, then noticed some winter menu flavors so I'm definitely going back for those. They serve Calvin Fletcher coffee (a coffee roaster/shop in downtown Indy) and that was nice to see local supporting local! My drink was warm, smooth and perfect for the extremely cold day.
