We have been staying in the nearby area and wanted to go out for a good breakfast. They had a large menu selection and it all sounded delicious! We came on a Wednesday, so it was very quiet, which was nice!!! The staff was extremely nice and we even had a chance to talk to one of the chefs which was great. Ample (paid) parking located all around the area as well. We ordered a basic breakfast (eggs pancakes bacon) some bananas foster French toast and a spinach omelette. The price was good for the food we ordered. Everything was flavorful and warm. The country potatoes were delicious! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the omelette was a little TOO onion-y and our nutella spiked (whiskey) coffee tasted mildly watered down. We just returned from our breakfast at Another Broken Egg, which we chose based on a quick glance at Yelp,and our proximity to the location. Fortunately this was the right decision. The restaurant itself is very pleasantly decorated, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The menu is full of appealing sounding foods! Strawberry pound cake french toast! Creative takes on eggs Benedict! I could go on, but I have already forgotten the rest. It all sounded fantastic. And their current coffee selection was described so deliciously that I had to get it, even though I prefer teas or fruity beverages for breakfast. I then chose the Floridian Omelette, which was another good decision. It was ten times better than I had hoped. The crab and the cheese sauce were so perfectly complementary to the yummy, creamy, cheese omelet. It was served with an English muffin and a side of grits, both of which I tasted, but didn't bother eating, because they would have just been filler. My companion had the kids chocolate chip pancakes, which were served with a scrambled egg and a slice of bacon. This mama appreciates that kind of balanced meal. Kiddo reports that the pancakes were really good. Our server was friendly and efficient, but not overbearing. The whole place seemed to be running smoothly, and the people were helpful to each other, and to the guests. There was definitely a warm vibe. Okay wow WOWOWOWOW! I wish I would have taken a picture of our food so you could see how delicious it was but we were too excited to eat it. I ordered the Banana Bread French Toast and the chef came out to tell me that the banana bread wasn't made yet so he asked if I would mind having it as a pancake instead and WOWIE. It was absolutely freaking delicious. The staff here had great recommendations and were the best. This will be a new regular for our visits to Clearwater. read more

As a true Yelper, I followed the red stars when looking for a brunch place on a lazy Saturday morning. They led me to Another Broken Egg where I had the most incredible shrimp and grits EVER in my entire life. The first bite was heaven, but the best part was that every bite after that got better and better! There were so many flavors and deliciousness in the single dish that all blended so well together with a little kick, not to mention the shrimp itself was juicy and plump. The pancakes are the only option here. I mean it. Everything else was bad. Coffee was Folgers-level swill. Eggs in the huevos were so overcooked they were chewy. Beans tasted like they were poured right out the Goya can. And the fried chicken with the chicken and waffles appeared baked, not crispy, and dry as a bone. The ambiance was perfect for brunch. I ordered the ABE bloody mary which was ok. A little bit sweeter than I would prefer. This was second experience with Another Broken Egg Cafe (first was @ PCB). I had the gravy and biscuits, with sausage, two fried eggs and fried potatoes. I was not a fan of their sausage or their gravy. The eggs and potatoes were good. My wife had the bananas foster waffle with scrambled eggs and sausage. She loved the waffle, eggs were fine, she didn't care for the sausage either. The service was fine and the restaurant was clean. From now on, I'll stick to waffles and bacon. read more

Went to this place for breakfast this morning. The eggs Benedict were very tasty. My daughters French toast was also good. My poor husband however go the biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage. It was almost inedible. The gravy for some reason kind of tasted like spaghettios‍ and the sausage was horrible.
