A bright and friendly local spot tucked away in the corner of a shopping center. I was promptly greeted and set up with my beverage of choice. A quick review of the menu revealed several delicious options for lunch. I was feeling decadent so I chose the Reuben sandwich with fries. Service was great. Just wish more of the food was "in house" and not Sysco frozen. Chicken fried steak and eggs is what I had. Only thing fresh was the potatoes and eggs. We drove up from our Sarasota are home to see an ailing friend and 20 friends down to Indian Shores. A rainy day morning we shot over to "the mainland" for a bite. Service fantastic, coffee, water, orders perfect, always at our side etc etc. Outstanding. Oatmeal is like gym class - Pass or Fail and most fail. This was a great bowl of oatmeal. Well made, not a starchy gloppy ball of goo. It was freshly made, and served at a nice temperature. Good product. I got a large fruit plate side and was very satisfied. My wife got the spinach quiche that was exactly what she wanted with fresh and el dente vegetables and ingredients. GREAT JOB!!! I can't speak to the breakfast menu but my friend and I went for lunch and it was one of the worst meals we've ever had. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken and the chicken was more like chicken jerky. Basically it was lettuce and chicken jerky. Very disappointing. My girlfriend ordered a cheeseburger and french fries and the french fries were cold. And to top things off our wages charged my card with my girlfriend's bill. I went here with my mom and boyfriend to try out their breakfast this past week. Obviously had to get the eggs Benedict since it's in the name. Changed out the Canadian bacon with regular bacon which was pretty good. Not the best I've ever had but good none the less. My boyfriend tried two different meals. His breakfast wrap was not my thing - very bland and needed seasoning or something to make it unique. His other sandwich was great and well priced. My mom had the eggs Benedict and said the same as me - not the best around but decent. I was disappointed in their lack of options for people who are dairy free or just wanted something as simple as hash browns. FYI - hash browns is a no go as well as dairy free creamer. read more

Vacationing in Indian Shores and saw this place next to Publix. Gave it a try and so glad we did! It was delicious! Cute little restaurant, very clean. I had the Country Sausage Benedict: huge portion! The biscuit was amazing, poached egg was cooked to perfection and large helping of Hollandaise sauce (my fave!). Just came back the 3rd time eating here.. wow is what i can say.. i really liked the Loraine Quiche with fruit and a Lemon berry Bread for 10.99 it was well worth the food. I made 2 more meals out of this. I had the med quiche although it had spinich not crazy about but it was just as good.. a neiiborhood mom and pop place.. Ali and Nadine you really out did yourself on this one... one suggestion can you start makign some crepes there... i love to see some as a specialty item.. or eggs in the basket.. thatw when you take a sliced bread open the miiddle with a rouneded hold inside the bread and place the egg inside and grill it.. so yummy too.. read more

I live very near to this restaurant in Oakhurst Groves and like the convenient location. I would like to see this business succeed. I have been there twice (for breakfast only) and would offer only this. Wait staff is friendly. Food comes out hot. fruit is fresh. All good. The big spoiler for me is that this restaurant is guilty of using old grease, the flavor of which permeates what would otherwise be quality ingredients. I would not return unless that condition is remedied. This is an easy fix, and I hope that this restaurant addresses this shortcoming read more

There is nothing I like more than going out to breakfast and I particularly love when you have the option to eat outdoors. Benedict's possesses both a spectacular breakfast menu, but also the opportunity to eat outdoors on their large porch. I look forward to returning because even though each of our breakfast was outstanding, neither of us had the quiches they are known for. After seeing various quiches delivered to nearby tables, I can't wait to go back and try one. Largo is a charming area and the restaurant's location on West Bay Drive is pictuesque with trees lining the street. Head over....you won't be disappointed. read more
