Excellent place to dine! Server Linda was most attentive and friendly server we have experienced in a long time. The food was wonderful! 2 appetizers, 7 different meals, and 3 desserts and each and everyone of them were perfect. Prices were more than fair! Atmosphere was very warm, welcoming, and comfortable. I love the historical feel of this place as well as the Irish decorations! The ambiance really makes it a nice place for a dinner, but the food was even better! I got the shepherds pie and it was super tasty, I loved the cheese on top and the fact that the meat wasn't too saucy (just the right amount). The service was great as well, our server was friendly and patient with us. We also got a visit from the manager at the end and he was great as well. Everyone we interacted with was so nice and it was a great experience overall, I'll definitely be back to try more things! read more

Service was very good, the kitchen closed at 9 and we arrived around 9:15 and they sat us down and served us a wonderful meal! It's a nice bar indoor and out. I've always said I wanted to check out O'Keefe's Tavern for years and tonight was the night I finally ended up dining there. The inside of the restaurant is very nice to see with all the Irish themed decor, woodwork, lighting and festive atmosphere all together!!! We had a large party and they made sure we were able to get seated which was great!!! Our server, Joseph was polite and made sure we had everything we needed while we were there. Food came out in good time and all of it looked amazing!!! I wish I could've took pictures of everything that was on the table!! Food was hot and absolutely delicious!!! We were full, but heard about their award winning homemade bread pudding and had to get some to go!! Wound up eating that at home and that too absolutely melted in your mouth!!! At the end of our dining experience, the manager, Robbie, stopped by our table and checked on us. We conversed with him about their events and commented on how great our experience was as well!! We enjoy their food however they seem to be slipping. Last week we ordered Irish puffs, boneless wings & a side of fries. I did not realize that the boneless wings came with fries however those fries were soggy, and the fries that I ordered separately were crispy and flavorful. The boneless wings were really good and I appreciate that they were not heavily breaded. They did not have breading on them, which made them even better. The Irish puffs were much smaller than I expected, but they were still very good . Last night we ordered Mediterranean chicken cooked in a white wine sauce with vegetables, and a side salad . We received a piece of chicken on top of a salad.. We also ordered Mulligan stew and nachos. The nachos were a very small portion for $12. They were about the size of a nacho Bell grande at Taco Bell. Those were kind of disappointing, but the flavor was there and there was quite a few toppings on them. The Mulligan stew was really good except it did have this huge cube of gristle in it and multiple bone fragments. Last week I would give them four stars, this week I would give them two stars so it's gonna average out to three. I think maybe they were trying to close because shortly after we picked up our order the online ordering system said they were closed . We will, of course, give them another try, but things have definitely changed in the last few years. Their quality is diminishing. read more

Got a seat in the fireplace room. For once it was not freezing back there. Started off with some pbrs. Just wish they were colder! We had a couple put on ice so problem solved. I got the orange shrimp bowl. Delicious! Plenty of shrimp comes with rice and broccoli. Hubby got pastrami on marvel rye. They did forget the cheese but brought some out to us. Neighbors got bangers and mash. Another great choice! And shepherd's pie. You can't go wrong here. Finished it off with some dessert. Peanut butter pie. We've been coming here for quite some time now. Tonight was a bit different. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by happy faces. The food was top notch as is usually the case. The owner? Even came a chatted with us. However, it was the waitress Arden that made our visit so enjoyable. She was the perfect server and even sprinkled some of her own humor into it. Great place and lots of memories here. After talking with the staff, O'Keefe's is not permanently closing. They are relocating to a new near by location, which is still yet to be determined. O'Keefe's staff are very friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have about the menu. They have plenty of options on the menu including some Irish favorites. The ambiance is relaxed at dinner time with a little chatters from next tables but not overly loud. I was torn on what to order as I was super hungry but Britnee made a great suggestion of ordering the Jameson sirloin. It was perfectly cooked mid-rare and the Jameson sauce made it even better. Party of 6 went over st Patrick's day and they had a food tent outside. Holy crap what a mistake! It was cold, dry, expensive and overall terrible. I can't believe an established restaurant would allow crap food. Beer was colder than the food so that's a plus. We were so disappointed, we left. I got 3.5 chicken fingers and no sauce options. Only had yellow mustard pack or ketchup packs. Served with a bag of lays chips. So chicken and chips that were $15ish was served with a one ounce bag of classic lays potato chips. Which was by far the best part of my meal. Never again. Lesson learned. read more

The fish sandwich I had was excellent. Huge pieces of delicious blackened fish that were tasty. I was expecting small pieces of fish but they blew my expectations on that. We had a celebration of life yesterday. What an amazing place and staff! As soon as we walked in the door were greeted and taken to our area KB ( almost positive was our waitress name was willing to move tables or anything she could do for us. Took our drink orders and they were filled before they were empty! She was an awesome waitress and cared was very sensitive to what we were going through,she definitely deserves a pat on the back . The manager Robbie Burton kept checking on us anything he could do to help. He was very thoughtful and helpful. Recommended food items checked on us all day! We were there for a bldg party Saturday night 12/14. About 20 plus people. Service was great! Wait staff was right on top of the party- not a miss anywhere! Wish I could think of servers names. Food was good- a variety of offerings on menu. I got the chopped sirloin steak w Guinness gravy- and a side of their coleslaw. Both very tasty- meat medium as requested and delicious coleslaw. Can I just say how awesome Donna is! Great margaritas and awesome service. The menu offers exactly what you would expect from an Irish pub. Right now happens to be Octoberfest but I had to go for the fish and chips. Most fish and chips are more of a fluffy, beer like batter but this one was light and seasoned and oh so good! Try your fries with the Guinness gravy. I'm not a huge coleslaw fan but just have me going back for more. It must be made in house. Overall a great experience I can't wait to get back. read more

We have been going here since 1992 and watching the portions get smaller and prices get higher. Our last visit was indeed our last. Cannot say anything bad about food as has always been good. But I almost had heart failure to see a pastrami sandwich w pickle and a teeny bit of coleslaw at 18.99! I can get a whole pork chop dinner at Texas Road House for 17.99. This sandwich is no Pickles Plus, which is btw cheaper. I was ready to leave but my husband wouldn't. So I ordered what I thought would be cheapest thing possible. A grilled cheese and tomato. They charged 8.99. Ok, so don't give me inflation because I can buy an entire pound of boars head pastrami at Publix for 13.99 and 4 bakery rolls and make 4 very large sandwiches. Which I will do going forward. So long o'Keefes. It was nice knowing you...but I don't like price gouging resteraunts.... read more

Came to have dinner and throughly enjoyed the musician they had. I believe his name was John Robert Egan. We decided to start dinner with Irish puffs. This was the first time I've tried these and they were delicious! For dinner I ordered the Shepards Pie and my husband ordered French Dip Sandwich. Both were very tasty. Stopped in for lunch after having driven past O'Keefe's quite a few times. Wife had lobster bisque, I had French onion soup and we split a pastrami with Swiss with onion straws. She liked the lobster bisque, I tasted it but didn't care for it. Onion soup was just ok. As far as the pastrami, it was oddly tasteless. On the other hand , the onion straws were light and tasty. Good service, nice atmosphere. Food needs improvement. Probably won't go back. read more
