So excited to finally try this restaurant. I probably ordered the wrong thing, I got a bagel with cream cheese and lox. It was fine except the bagel was not fresh it was frozen and not toasted. Home fries were good but a little too much salt. Everything was acceptable except for the roaches crawling on the wall next to our booth. Wait staff did not seem concerned, management did not approach us, we paid for our bill and left. BTW, my bagel and cream cheese and lox with my iced tea came to over $20.00, no extra charge for the roaches. Never again! read more

Salmonella infection!!!!! My boyfriend and I had brunch here last weekend. He had a veggie omelette, potatoes and grits. About an hour after we ate, he started having stomach pains. About an hour later, he started running to the bathroom. A few hours later, he started having chills and started running a slight temperature. That evening he couldn't sleep because he continued to have stomach pains. The following morning he started having headaches, body aches, fever, chills and still having stomach pains and still running to the bathroom. This went on for two and a half days. We knew the USDA recalled eggs, but we figured since they were still serving eggs, they purchased them locally or from a different company. Big mistake!!! My boyfriend has never been that sick and in so much pain from eating at this restaurant. After this horrible experience, I don't think he'll ever eat eggs again or at this restaurant!!!! read more

The service was better this time but it was very sparingly. The drinks were good the server made my sons hot chocolate the perfect temperature which was sweet and we appreciate. We waited a long time for everything. It took over an hour to get our food. Most of the food was cold. All the eggs we got were cooked horribly. We didn't even eat them. The sunny side up egg was cold burnt and crispy on edges and raw in the middle. My Benedict's basted egg was busted and also cooked badly. A lot of the food was cold. The only thing I'd wanna eat again was the andouille sausage my husband got, which took minimal work. Where we were sat the seats were so close we couldn't fit a full size human behind another person. Luckily my 1 year old fit in a regular chair because that's all there was space for. I tried to give this place another chance but I will never be returning here. There's a ton of other better options. read more

Stopped in on a blustery snowy Sunday morning while waiting for my brother's delayed flight to come in. Pretty packed with folks despite the weather, but snagged a place at the bar. Got coffee right away and the bartender/waitress was wonderful. Ordered their Huevos Rancheros because I'm originally from New Mexico, and if any restaurant around here attempts them, I have to try it. It was different than I'm used to because they used crispy fried flour tortillas (instead of traditional corn), but it was tasty! This dish had ample supply of good green chile (always a plus), tasty black beans and onions with over medium eggs on top. Salsa and sour cream, potatoes on the side. My coworker ordered all of us breakfast from this place. All 4 meals where Ice cold. We took the food back and we're told that they will not remake or refund us. The manager refused to give us her name but she threatened to call the police because I refused to take the food back. This is the most unprofessional place at easton. My wife and I had breakfast for the first time here and it was simply amazing. The hospitality was great we were seated immediately and greeted by our amazing server named Lisa. Lisa immediately took our beverage order and brought it to us and then she explained the menu and gave us some of her favorite dishes. My wife had the chicken and waffles and the chicken was flavorful and tender cooked to perfection and I had the power waffles with bananas and peanut butter with eggs cooked just fluffy and delicious and a side off bacon cooked to perfection. YUCK! Some eggs were broken and then disgustingly topped with goat cheese causing them to taste spoiled... I have dined at Another Broken Egg Cafes for years in multiple cities and mostly at the location in Burbank, CA. This Columbus, OH location was by far not only the worst location I have ever been to, but it was also a disgustingly unappetizing dining experience for me. Given all the choices the city and suburbs offer for breakfast, I regret that I recommended we dine here. I ordered what was "supposed to be" their lemon blueberry pancake breakfast combo. It is supposed to include pancakes topped with goat cheese and lemon zest whipped cream and blueberries atop three pancakes. This is normally a delicious pancake option when prepared correctly. For my sides, I asked for eggs whites scrambled hard with jack cheese and chicken sausage butterflied. Let's start with the sloppy presentation of the pancakes! There was zero care assigned to the presentation. Even a below average home cook would have known to present a plate better than what was placed before me. The whip cream had slid off the top of the stack, which was luke warm and tasted like they had been sitting. The blueberries were strewn about the with no care whatsoever. To make matters worse there was no lemon zest or goat cheese where it was supposed to be - as advertised. I asked the waitress why the latter two ingredients were missing. She tried to tell me it was on there, but when I asked her to show me she admitted it was missing. Initially I tried to make the most of it and place the whipped cream back on the cakes, but then the first bite was barely warm, I pushed them aside. I wish I had taken a picture to place on social media... of how awful they looked. A kindergarten chef would have know better. She finally brought out some lemon zest in a metal container for me to add and didn't even have the decency or training to apologize, instead she came across as though I had inconvenienced her. I did not think the poor start to my experience could go any further south until I tasted my eggs. They literally tasted sour and rotten on the palate! Take a wild guess why... The goat cheese that should have been on my pancakes was in and on top of my egg whites instead! At that point it was time to ask for the manager and abort this failed breakfast mission, and quit as I was already behind and off to a bad start. All I wanted was a nice breakfast before a long journey home to conclude the Thanksgiving holiday. This location was simply not to the standard of care or quality I'm used to experiencing at Another Broken Egg Cafes. The manager agreed about why goat cheese ruins eggs and that the ingredients should have been on my pancakes. She offered to remake the entire breakfast, but I declined. I did so unapologetically and was literally afraid to give the Another Broken Egg another chance to make a bad impression. The whole purpose of dining with your family is so everyone can eat together. It defeats the purpose when that doesn't happen... It also speaks to why it's important for servers and other staff to listen to what the customer is asking for, check orders for accuracy, and ask themselves if they would want their order messed up, nasty and sloppily presented. I'm sorry I recommended this location to my family and I will never dine here again, nor will a recommend it. My only regret is not taking a picture...but hopefully you get the picture. read more

I ordered the Southern Chicken Sandwich on door dash. Firstly the order said it would be here by 11:30 and didn't arrive until 12:30. They had the door dash driver waiting in the restaurant for a whole hour. What a waste of his time. And secondly my sandwich arrived with only HALF the ingredients. The sandwich is supposed to come with chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and ranch. Mine came with chicken lettuce and tomato. Why th would I pay $17 for a dry a** sandwich. The first time I visited the spot, I walked in and said hi to the host, and she just stared at me, then after about a minute she finally asked can she help me- I'm like uh yes, I'd like to sit and eat. She just said ok, and waited for me to take the lead- I'm like GiRl!? Too much confusion upon walking in. When we finally got sat, they were out of a lot of things and it was super loud i don't know what kind of walls they use but it seemed like we're were all in a shower, it was giving acoustics. The shrimp and grits were a huge let down - there was a gravy like sauce that was super think and white. The French toast was dry and they were out of the lemon drizzle that really made the whole thing pop- so they just brought out 3 pieces of dry French toast with 2 slices of strawberries and nothing else. They gave us coupons to come back- and when I gave them another try- that next time was a hot mess too. They originally told us they were out of burgers but then came back and told us they "found" 2 and instead of a double burger they could split it up and give us two singles. We agreed but it was a mistake- not sure where they found the burgers but clearly they were not fit for consumption. Terribly dry and honestly not edible. We paid for our meal - like we did the time before, and they once again gave us coupons to visit them again for the inconvenience- but I gave those coupons away. read more

Tried out this new restaurant in Easton. Nice location, easy to find. Plenty of parking right across the street. People are nice & thoughtful. Our server, Vernon, suggested the Mardi Gras omelette to my husband and he really enjoyed it. Nice guy! Beignets are the signature here & an absolute must have. A full order can be shared with a table. They also have a half order available, perfect for 2. Delicious! I had the crab cake benny with potatoes. The potatoes are the best I've ever had! The crab cake benny was a burst of amazing flavors. The best part of the benny is the hollandaise sauce. It's very smooth & creamy, love the flavor, and just the right amount. Oh and the coffee.... Perfection! I had the house blend, hubby had the Rawanda and both were very very good. Planning to come back next time we're in Columbus so we can try out some bar selections, especially the Bloody Mary's (5 different types to choose from )! read more

Be prepared to wait. We had call-ahead seating an hour before we arrived but still waited an hour to be seated, then an hour and 15 minutes for our food to arrive. As you might expect from such a busy place, the food is good. Two of our three meals were excellent but one was dry and subpar. The service is another story. The wait staff worked hard but several little things added up for a bad experience overall. Continually telling us our table would be ready in 15 minutes just added to our frustration. Then having to flag our waiter down to ask for things one shouldn't have to ask for (silverware, syrup, butter) was also frustrating. I loved my food but I don't think I will repeat this experience again. There are other restaurants where the food is just as good but the service is much better. They will be just fine without me though. This place is continually packed. read more

The food was beyond disappointing and came out cold. We understand there is a workers crisis at this time, but then don't do Door Dash orders. I think this restaurant needs to take care of its in-person patrons. It was beyond chaotic and just an unfortunate experience for us overall. Came to ANB to get my free birthday pancakes. We put our names on the waitlist before we left the house and once we arrived to the location we checked in. We were told we would receive a text message when our table was ready. This was at 12:39pm. We sat out front in out car because the lobby area was crowded and we had our baby with us. After approximately 39 minutes we decided to go inside because we hadn't received a text and at this point were very hungry. Well when we walked up to the door it was locked so we had to stand outside in the cold with our baby for someone to walk out before we could go inside. The person at the front was visibly agitated. We told her how long we had been waiting and that we never received the text for our table so she proceeded to walk away without saying anything and comes back with someone else, perhaps a manager. So once again we explain to this person the situation and after checking in their system and showing her our texts, she tells the other employee to seat us. The food was decent. The waiter said well my manager said you can order something else or get a gift card for the amount. Basically I'd be charged either way! Very good brunch option. We had county boy gravy bowl and the traditional breakfast platter. The chicken sausage was delicious, eggs cooked perfectly!
