For an early birthday dinner, I headed to Ted's Montana Grill at Easton with a small group, we were celebrating mine and a friends birthday.and overall it was a very enjoyable night. We were greeted by our server, Angel, who was friendly with just the right amount of sarcasm -- quick-witted and fun, never over the line. It was a Friday night, so the restaurant was definitely filling up, but the atmosphere stayed relaxed. The space itself is dimly lit, nicely decorated, and has a bit of an upscale feel without being stuffy. The menu offers a solid variety, from appetizers and salads to burgers, poultry, seafood, and steaks. Instead of bread, they start you off with house-made pickles, which I personally loved -- as a pickle fan, I didn't miss the bread at all. For my meal, I went with the 1977 Burger, ordered medium rare, topped with sautéed mushrooms, a fried egg, Havarti cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. At Ted's you can choose beef or bison, and I went with the bison. I also added a side of horseradish mayo, which really took the burger up a notch. The burger comes with fresh-cut fries or a side, and they offer a half fries, half onion rings option -- an easy choice for me. My wife went a bit more upscale with a filet, cooked medium well, and chose asparagus and Parmesan broccoli for her sides. She brought a cake to celebrate both birthdays, so we skipped dessert, but Angel surprised us with a couple of complimentary bowls of ice cream to go with the cake, which was a really nice touch. The only reason I'm not giving this a full 5 stars is because my wife's steak initially came out undercooked and her sides were cold. That said, once it was sent back, everything came out hot, cooked correctly, and she really enjoyed it. Overall, it was a very good dining experience with great service and a comfortable atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend Ted's Montana Grill for a nice night out and would happily return. read more

Had dinner here for my husband and friends birthdays. We had a great waitress named Angel. She was super fun and we all joked a lot with her. I ordered Teds Bison Filet. The two sides I had were parmesan roasted broccoli and roasted asparagus. The steak was super tender and flavorful and I loved the broccoli. The asparagus was a little woody and not very tender. Instead of giving you a basket of bread they bring out bowls of pickles. Everyone loved them. It was a really nice starter. The restaurant was nice but not stuffy. It was a comfortable atmosphere but the chairs need an upgrade. They weren't the most comfortable. I brought a cake for the birthday boys and Angel was nice enough to bring out bowls of ice cream for everyone. We gave Angel some cake which she loved! If you go, ask for Angel's table. I came here with my boyfriend's mom and boyfriend and it was the most adorable little day! Perfect stop! But oddly not a lot of people inside for clean place, amazing service and awesome food. I had a blackberry jalapeño margarita of course. It was the bomb.com. I would so get it again. We got the chips and dip as an appetizer, so good. I got the ground bison meatloaf sandwich with fries. I ordered a side of siracha aioli because it is my favorite. I wouldn't order the sandwich when, but I would definitely try something else. This was my first time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The cucumber pickles were crisp and tasty. The ice tea was fresh and light. I ordered the sliders in beef with homemade potato chips for my late lunch. The beef was cooked perfectly and so flavorful. My husband ordered the beef hamburger which was huge! It was topped with grilled onions and bacon. His French fries were very tasty and crisp. Nothing was greasy! Our waitress was on point and met all of our needs. Great food, great service, we were celebrating my daughter in law's birthday, the staff were attentive and super friendly. I ate the bison bacon burger with fries, really tasty. The others in the party had salmon salad and two bison meatloaf- all said their food tasted excellent. Deserts were wonderful however are simply too big, no-one finished and likely they could have been spilt between two people. Not really a criticism, they were excellent! This was a very nice spot that I took my wife to, on my day off. Just relocating here from Texas, this looked like something close to what we had over in the Lone Star state. I always start with how clean a facility is, to me that speaks on par with how service is with food. This place was spic & span, although it was early in the afternoon, it was still very clean. My wife is a burger person, so she ordered the Bison burger, and was very delighted with her order. Not over the top with portioning, fries were delicious, and the burger was cooked to her satisfaction. I ordered the Green & Hot chicken sandwich, which was juicy, seasoned just right, and the filet was generously plump. The guacamole was also an added treat to blend well with the chicken. Service was very prompt and friendly, the price was surprisingly not steep, especially in this area. If we're ever shopping at Costco again, we'll definitely make a stop by. read more

Wonderful waiter!! He was so helpful. This was our first time here and we LOVED it!! Very yummy. Now we were here for lunch so don't come at me for not trying a steak, it was 11:30. I had the bison chili and the chopped salad and my husband had the 1977 burger, all were very, very good. We would all get these again for lunch. I, of course, had a dirty martini, yummy!!! Everything was great today! This is my second visit to Ted's Montana Gill in Easton. Service was good. Our food came out quickly and everything was delicious! The burger was juicy, perfectly cooked. The fresh jalapenos were not screaming hot but added great flavor. The tick cut onion rings were lightly battered with a pepper seasoning. Delicious! The entree salad was plentiful! Made with romaine, iceberg and spring mix. You choose the protein (beef?, bison, chicken-maybe more)the salad also includes cheese, bacon, tomatoes, croutons and your choice of dressing. I saw a picture a couple weeks ago of a girl attending Ted's Montana Grill for her birthday and that Delmonico steak look heavinly in the picture. This is before I actually saw the prices today. I thought I would come in ordering the Delminco steak but didn't want to spend $40 on a steak meal with $6 sides of baked potato with Parmesan Broccoli. Instead, I read Tom's review and saw his pictures of the short rib. I ordered the short rib and it was fall of the bone good. I got the garlic mashed potatoes and Parmesan broccoli with my meal. To top it off I ordered my favorite dessert. Most people would think that is chocolate but it's not. I love a good apple crisp or crisps in general. This crisp was so big I had to share it with my husband and child. Which my child stole all my vanilla ice cream. I'm not sure I would be back because the service wasn't up to par with my family. The food was pretty good for the price we paid. My husband even said his bison burger was so flavorful he'd never had anything good. Thanks Ted's Montana for at least trying to make the food good. I know restaurant's can't help the service but that's our recent restaurant industry lately. Every restaurant is struggling to find workers to just work and serve each customer. So we need just be patient with them and appreciate what we can get these days. read more

If you love beef or bison, this is the place for you. They do have chicken and salmon, but beef and bison are their selling point. We came here for dinner on a Friday night. I tried to reserve online, but the next reservation was 45 minutes out. When my bf went in, we were able to be seated immediately. The venue gives me old school, Italian. I wasn't impressed at all. They were busy but there were plenty of staff. We ordered the Bison Nachos as an app, which is just the bison chili over tortillas. It was actually good. I ordered the Ted's Margarita and my bf ordered a Mojito. I could not drink the Margaritas as the bartender actually used a jalapeño tequila instead. I swapped drinks, and it was all good. Grilled chicken chopped salad was good, but WHERE IS THE CHICKEN?! The chicken was cut thinly, so I couldn't give you an idea of the portion, but I do know our was very scarce. For $14, I'm going to need to see an improvement. read more

Holy cow, or should I say ... holy bison! My husband and I popped in here on a late rainy Monday afternoon after picking up a suit across the street at JoS. A. Bank. It was quiet, as all the well-dressed businessmen were finishing their lunches, but there were a handful of tables in there. Our server was handling the entire dining room on her own and she did a fantastic job. We hadn't been in before and I didn't realize they had bison steaks. I was SO HAPPY! My husband got the bison meatloaf (surprise, surprise) and I got the bison filet. Now I love a good filet, and had never tried a bison filet before - I may never be able to go back to non-bison filets. It was so tender, so buttery, beautifully seasoned and just perfect. The onion rings and broccoli were great too but if I'm being honest with myself, my heart wanted two bison filets. Husband's meatloaf, mashed potatoes and carrots were inhaled in approximately 10 minutes. Really a great time! We'll definitely go back. read more

I had no idea Ted's Montana helped save bison from going extinct and that cbus opened the first one (arena district). I visited Easton's location for the first time a few weeks ago. The food was great, but more importantly I have a new appreciation for the term "scratch made." Almost every ingredient is made in-house, including the tortilla chips in the nachos. You can absolutely taste the difference. The shrimp on ciabatta toast is nicely prepared and that bread is oh so fresh. I'm a fan of the avalon burger... slap caramelized onions on any burger and I'm almost guaranteed to like it. The bison nachos were unique and addictive. I even enjoyed trying to filet and I don't normally choose steak. If the strawberry shortcake is on the dessert menu, you can't go home without trying. It's a fresh-baked biscuit and topped with a housemade sauce, ice cream and whipped cream and is the perfect summer dessert. I did find a few of the dishes overly salty but have also been told by people I may have a salt sensitivity. So take my saltiness reviews with a grain of salt ;) read more

Good food and good service tonight at Ted's. Our server, Juston told us the specialty here is the Bison, so that's what we went with. There are plenty of options here including beef, bison, chicken, and seafood. The 14oz Delmonico bison steak tasted great. So good we didn't even need to add steak sauce. I went out on a limb and tried the Bison brisket with mashed potatoes. Both were good and tender. The batter on the onion rings is light and has a good flavor. We finished the meal with a strawberry shortcake which was not only good but pretty as well. Parking is really easy if you park at the rear of the restaurant. I'm not sure I could have had a more disappointing experience. Visited the restaurant this past weekend. Was told to wait at the bar until a table was ready in about 15 minutes. It probably took almost 20 to even get a drink at the bar. The host never came and found us for a table. Ok, we ordered our food at the bar to try to save time since we had other plans. After about 45 minutes I asked the bartender how much longer on the order. Oh, your order is only 4 more to go. It should be really soon. Ok, cool 20 more minutes goes by. I ask what's going on. We're out of mashed potatoes so you're going to have to wait. Well if you had communicated that sooner I could have probably asked for another side. We decided to leave, never did get any food, or a table, no one even bothered to try an stop us or try service recovery. The bartender said, a lot of people were canceling orders and leaving, ect... aThen proceeded to say it's just this place. What a joke, we left hungry. I chose this place over Hyde park. I walk into the door for the first time with my father. We are seated quickly because it is not busy seeing as it is lunch time. The waiter (Angel) asks what we would like to drink. I say sweet tea my father says water is fine. She sets a small tray of cucumbers onto the table I prefer them less salted but still they were fresh and succulent. The drinks were fine but this is not what I came here for. We both order the George's Classic Cadillac. My father gets a side of onion rings I get a side of fries. As we wait I listen to the music which seems to match the environment perfectly. The paintings on the walls being interesting to the eye whilst not being overtaking of the room. The burger comes and a wonderful smell hits my nose. This is the first time I had bison. I grab the burger and bite into it. The amount of juice in the burger is outstanding I ordered it medium and it was perfectly cooked. The barbecue sauce provides a perfect blend of sweetness and savory flavor. The fries are crispy and salted perfectly. This pleases me. I finish the burger and the waiter comes to the table with brownie. She says it is not the house because it is my birthday I am very grateful. The brownie had a very fudge texture and the ice cream was vanilla. The chocolate drizzle elevates everything. Recently visited this location with colleagues while in town on business. We ordered a variety of things, but the standout was my bison shortribs. They were incredibly tender and flavorful, and the mashed potatoes were the perfect accompaniment to sop up the gravy. A year into Covid, this was our first choice, and first dine out experience. Vaccinated, and dining outdoors with the heat lamps on. Teds was following all the protocols. Masks, distancing, disinfecting and disposal. Service was great again. Food was great again. I've sampled many items on the menu, and any disappointment has always been immediately changed to delicious satisfaction. In that rare instance, please speak up and you will leave singing the praises of your dining experience. For my own reference, I must remember to always avoid the Z-sauce. We went here for the first time and had an awful experience. The waiter we had was not very inviting and didn't seem to be fond of us, even though we were nice, and we've never met this guy before. Anyway, we order. I get my lemonade, which was absolutely delicious. Lemonade here is perfect. I was like, yeah this is starting off great... boy were we in for quite the miserable meal. Well, we all got our food. Everything was unbelievable salty, I don't mean just slightly over salted, I mean salted to the point where I think I was on the verge of having hypertension. Not only was my food salty, but my grandparents food was salty too. The burger was making me pucker and squint on every bite. Almost inedible! Seriously, if it weren't for the salt, I think the food would have been great. Obviously, they didn't like us for some reason, and they won't be seeing us again. I care about my health, and I don't need deadly amounts of sodium. I think I'd be better off drinking straight sea water. Now ambience is pretty good, it seemed fairly clean, and it's a nice open area. Maybe too many tables in the middle, couldn't really pay too much attention to the inside as I was squinting my eyes from all of the salt. 1 star for the lemonade, and 1 star for the interior and cleanliness. 3 stars off for the service and food. read more

This was our first time back since COVID. First, I would like to say Thank You for keeping your menu the same as it was before. So many places have cut their menus and offerings and have lost most of what was loved, but Ted's did not do that. On top of that, the food is still excellent and top-notch.
