We have been to this location many times over the year and thought we would stop and church. The wait was maybe 5 minutes but my sister and niece said the waiting area smelled like a wet towel that needed to be cleaned. They said the same thing about the floors heading to the bathroom along with them being very sticky. The food was good as always. I have been a long time fan of Another Broken Egg. Unfortunately, this will be last time coming to the Vintage Park location. We had a large party on Father's Day and they quoted us a wait time of 35 to 40 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes, the hosted said we had to wait another 1 hour. Then she said she could no longer seat us at all. I asked her if that was the only solution and she threw up her hands and said we can't do anything additional. I asked for a manager (Latino man with long black hair) and he came out and said it's a very busy day and he would see what can be done. That was the last time he even spoke to me. I have been never experienced such horrible service. Businesses should know how to conduct themselves during peak times. I upgraded my rating as the manager made came back and worked it out for us. He also provided complimentary beignets. That was a nice gesture. Unfortunately, my son found a hair in his grits so it just wasn't a great experience. read more

My husband loved his Omelette and Blueberry Mule but that's about where the compliments end. I didn't like being seated at a dirty table. I didn't like finding mold in my fruit and I didn't like having dirty utensils. Lastly my dish wasn't great. It tasted like a basic salt and pepper gravy with shrimp mixed in. I had a simple breakfast this morning at Another Broken Egg, consisting of egg sunny side up, City Girl Grits or is it City Grits (scratching head...LoL). Came here for brunch on a Saturday. They have a get in line system that worked really well. Don't feel like we waited too long and it was close to the noon hour as well. The inside of the restaurant is super cute. It looks like you're inside someone's home and it just has a great vibe Our waiter was super patient as we were two girls just catching up and you know how that goes. As far as the food, everything we had was delicious. my meal as pictured was hearty and fulfilling. I only made it through half. The portions are very large and I have to say the coffee is awesome. This is another location to the "egg" chain that I found when we were in Houston recently. My husband wasn't impressed with two of the other ones that we went to in other states, but I insisted! The wait was 45 minutes, and after an hour and seeing that the crowd had gone, we went back and inquired. Turned out that our table was ready but we never got the page. Well guess what. The page came after we were seated and about to order! Someone needs to look into that, seriously. The waitress knew we were perturbed and she brought our drinks and water quickly. I had the cold brew with Vodka, which was really good. Hubby had their hot coffee, not spiked, and he said it was good., I had to try the lobster and Brie omelet and I loved it! Hubby had traditional ham and eggs with grits, and he admitted that everything was good. He even said that the grits were far better than he had the day before at the Rooster. (Those were watered down and bland, while he said these had a better consistency.) Besides having to wait an hour, the meal was good as was service. We're visiting from New York and decided to try some breakfast in the area. The menu enticed us to go and it was absolutely worth it! We had a very attentive and kind server, who kept our coffees refilled. The Hash Brown Benedict was delicious, as well as Broken Egg Chicken Sandwich. As a side, we chose the grits and added cheese, it was a bit bland so we added some salt and pepper. The Blackberry Stuffer French Toast was good but a bit too sweet for our palette. At 10:00 on Sunday, the place was busy but by no means full. The host walked us past several open booths and tables and oddly chose the most inconvenient location in the restaurant to seat us - next to the door, in the path of traffic in far back room. Further inside the room, there were open tables so I have no idea what he was thinking. I sat with my back to the interior door and was bumped & brushed several times by servers carrying drinks and trays through the door. Ten minutes in and no one had arrived with water or to take our order. Finally someone asked, have you been helped? She wasn't our waitress but, at least noticed and was able to alert whomever was the correct waitress. When the waitress arrived, she was very pleasant but, clearly had a weird coverage area with the rest of her tables in separate room. I ordered Crab Benedict & asked they hold the red peppers. The waitress suggested exchanging peppers for spinach which was a lovely idea. I'd anticipated the spinach to be under the egg or on the side. I assume the cook almost forgot it because it was not standard & tossed it on top once realized. Overall the taste was good although I would have enjoyed dish & the hollandaise sauce more had the somewhat soggy spinach not water it down a bit. But overall, no big deal - it was tasty. The eggs were perfectly poached as well. My drink was empty - it had been empty for a while with no waitress to be found. I asked another passing waitress if she could let our waitress know I'd like a refill or to stop by. That seemed to annoy her to no end - I certainly felt the attitude & noticed the look. Second waitress came back five minutes later to ask if she still needed to let actual waitress know we were looking for her. Well yes, please. Despite being bumped into by a few, still hadn't seen our actual waitress. Again, our waitress was sweet. I think my experience was poor due to poor training (why seat people at the worst location when others not in the path of traffic were available?), poor management (why split the serving area in such an inconvenient way?) & possibly poor staffing (were they all spread too thin? Is that why waitress #2 looked so out out?). And let's talk about the pseudo farmhouse decor - it's not my jam. I wish there were more breakfast options in the area. Why do they all have the same Hobby Lobby'esque feel? The food was good. The overall experience poor. My rating is based on food. Hopefully others are seated in less chaotic area. read more

I was wanting some lemon blueberry pancakes so we made the drive to another broken egg. Once there i saw the summer menu and decided to go with the peaches and cream bourbon pancakes. I shouldve stuck with my initial decision. The pancakes were heavy on the bourbon. It was too over powering for me. I also got sausage with it. I couldnt finish my food so i took it to go. The service was mediocre. I ordered a cold brew coffee and didnt receive a straw. When i went to eat my food later, i was eating my sausage and bit down on something that almost broke my tooth. I thought maybe its a piece of a bone.. i got it out of my mouth and it was much harder than a bone. It felt and looked like a broken tooth. I dont know what it was but I definitely know it shouldn't be in my food. I cant say i would confidently recommend this location. The food was good I really enjoyed my waffle it was soft and airy not hard and dry so I appreciate that. Not a good choice for vegetarians. Terrible service. Food was cold. Awful. I took my daughters here on our way to Celtic Christmas Ren Fair. We were out with the intention of having a fun day - we wanted to love it. Unfortunately, it was awful in all respects. We arrived on a busy midmorning and they said there was a 20 minute wait to eat inside or no wait for outside. It was a little chilly, but we didn't mind, so we sat outside.The waitress came and took our drink order, brought our drinks and asked if we were ready to order. We asked for just a couple more minutes. After waiting over 20 minutes, we decided she forgot about us. We went inside to ask if someone could take our order, and she came out and got our order. She was pleasant. While we waited, a young African-American man - I don't know if he was a friend, an employee, a boyfriend, or how he was connected to the business, repeatedly revved his engine on his goofy motorcycle-looking bike. He would circle, stop next to the outdoor dining area, rev the motor and sometimes go in for a few minutes, and sometimes wait and just leave. He never brought a bag of food out, so we decided he wasn't a delivery service. It was super annoying and really obnoxious. If the business knows who this person is, they should tell him to either park and come in or GO AWAY. We ordered the eggs blackstone benedict with no bacon (some of these places need to catch up and offer a meat-free benedict), apple fritter french toast, strawberry pound cake french toast, and city grits with no bacon. We informed the waitress that we are vegetarians and confirmed that nothing we ordered had meat. She confirmed. I ordered a lemon-blueberry mimosa and the girls ordered mocktails - pineapple berry agua fresca and strawberry lemonade spritzer. Food and Drinks: The drinks were okay, but all three were syrupy sweet. They weren't terrible, but I wouldn't order any of them again. The food was not good at all. It took a long time to arrive, which I understood because they were busy, BUT - the person who dropped off the food was not our server and all of our food was served cold. My daughter's grits were covered in bacon. The English muffin tasted like it had been toasted hours ago and you really couldn't chew it. I wondered if it had been microwaved, but if so, why wasn't it warm at all? My daughters said there food might have been okay if it hadn't been colder than room temp. I asked the server if we could have a new order of grits without bacon. She realized the error and apologized. She brought us a new order and it still tasted like bacon. I don't know if they put bacon grease in the grits and she failed to disclose that or if they just scooped it off, stirred it up and reapplied the garnish. Either way, it was gross and we didn't eat it. The girls and I decided not to eat the food and hoped to find something at Ren Fair. We waited and waited and waited for the check. I gave up and went to the counter at the entrance and asked if there was someone who could give us the bill so I could pay it and leave. The people working there were nice and located it. I paid, left an undeserved tip, and we left. After wasting our time and money, we left hungry. We will not be back. read more

We recently noticed that the charge on our credit card billing was $1.28 higher than our receipt, including tip, indicated. $1.28??!!?? Small amount, but makes one wonder if this was a one off or common practice. Sent a detailed email to the owner that to date has been ignored. Draw your own conclusions. read more

This place was a hit and miss. When we entered, there was a weird smell, like a strong cheese. My nose eventually used to it. Our waitress Emely was really sweet. Coffee was hot and tasted great. My husband ordered the strawberry pound cake French toast, and it was so good. I ordered the Basqueso omelette. When it came the first time, it had a hair in it. Of course I sent it back, and the waitress was apologetic. I'm not 100% sure, but I felt like they just took the hair off, put the omelette on a different plate and microwaved it. The plate itself was hot, the egg was a tad rubbery, and parts of the cheese look congealed, which suggests to me that it was microwaved. All in all, I'm pretty sure I won't go back. Just wasn't worth the cost. $60 (with tip) for 2 adults and a toddler for so-so food. read more
