    "NASHVILLE HOT" CHICKEN & WAFFLES
    Cameron S.

Let's start out with the good.. the coffee and water. Now what was bad: The waitress was nice, but lacked attention to detail for her section. Checked on us 2 times during the meal. Had to ask for a refill. All of the tables were dirty and they had just opened and no one had been there. The food was not worth the price. The "Nashville Hot" chicken and waffles had 0 spice that you would expect from something that's supposed to be Nashville hot. My side order of grits were not done. They were still crunchy. The banana pie waffle, according to my wife, had too much banana with it and lacked flavor as well. For the $45 I paid for this meal, it should have been a lot better, especially for something so easy to make.

Came here for brunch with my family. I ordered the 'southern fried chicken' salad. It was huge! My only complaint is that they don't have Cesar dressing available. I didn't think the honey mustard went well with the salad so I didn't really get to enjoy it. But I was able to steal some of my father's shrimp & grits and that was super delicious.

I really hate how they use fake syrup here. They could tweak a few items, dash of salt and be really good vs average. I will be back due to location but would never come here if out of the way.

Parking: large lot Decor: modern and fresh though the chairs at the bar are way too short, I am 6'5" tall and I was reaching up! Quite noisy though, they need sound dampeners Staff: attentive to your needs Food: presents well and cooked perfectly Price: average Overall: I would go back

I notice the bar has outlets

Dropped in to Grab some tacos to go. Our go to are the breakfast eggs, cheese, soft potatoes, & crispy bacon please. My tacos bacon didn't seem crispy to my liking. So I requested them extra crispy on the side. It came back out mixed in. Which doesn't appears less presentable to me. I really love that the GM came out to make it right, and had my crispy bacon on the side. I wasn't going to send it back for the second time, because lack of communication. The GM was very welcoming to remake it, he even ask if I want strip bacon or chipped bacon. I greatly appreciate that. And the waitress Tennessee was the best! Energy & spirit of an angel

Hello everyone! Today I had the chance to enjoy brunch. I had the Yolk burger with some loaded fries, the burger was cooked medium and it was tasty. The service was awesome, the server was very nice and informative. The ambiance is real cool, flat screens everywhere to enjoy sports etc. and the drinks are nice too.

I remember when I used to visit the location in Conroe years ago, I looooved Toasted Yolk. I moved out of houston and when I came back, this one opened not too far from where I live, so I was excited to go and it did not disappoint!! Kiana was our server who was super sweet, quick with our service and attentive. I always love to ask what servers like, bc they eat there all the time and j like trying new things. This time I went classic and it was just what I needed, and all American style breakfast with a few bites of my son's french toast, which was ooooof!! We had such a great trip, that my son wanted to go back there for brunch to celebrate his birthday Sophia took care of us on our next trip and there was more of us that came in. She as well was super sweet, the southern hospitality in this place is always great! Kiana saw us and remembered us and said hello! Also remembered how I wanted my beverage made! Kudos to her and the team for being so great. This will be the new spot for breakfast on the weekends!

We've been waiting to try this place and why not on a rainy Sunday morning. Service was great had a couple conversations with several staff members everyone had great attitudes. Ordered different meals that we would not make at home. The husband had the Double Decker Omelet it was packed he couldn't eat the whole thing (not pictured) and I had the Wheatwich. The Wheatwich was really good wish there had been more avocado and the cheese grits were delicious I wanted a Brunchin' coffee but they can only serve them after 10am on Sundays. So I had regular coffee which was good I thought the restaurant was a cute, a little heavy on the lime green everywhere. Mugs were cute and they do have a small gift shop to buy T-shirts. Definitely will be back!

It's been quite a long time since I was here and as I was in the neighborhood I decided to stop by again today. Remembering how good they were last time, I ordered the Oma's Frikadellen (grandma's recipe for all-beef meatballs). I like a good German meatball and these were tender and juicy. There was a choice of red cabbage or sauerkraut as a side; having confirmed they made the sauerkraut in-house themselves, had to order that because I know it's super healthy to eat. Better yet, that sauerkraut was almost perfect with a great flavor, but not too tart and just really a delicious version. Honestly I could've eaten a huge bucket load of that sauerkraut and I may buy some to go someday just to have it on hand in my refrigerator; a slight warm and it would be a wonderful side to serve guests. Dessert was a wow! I wanted to try a dessert that they made themselves and so I couldn't help but go with one of the dessert specials of the day. There were several options available not on the menu and although it was tempting to try the tiramisu or one of the three versions of crème brûlée they make, I decided to go with their homemade limoncello cake which turned out to be a delicious choice that I'm very happy about. Waiter Ty said it was one of his favorite desserts here and I could taste why -- moist cake, flavor-filled filling, whipped cream and with blueberries to decorate the plate. In fact it was so yummy that I decided that so someday soon I would order one with a couple days notice and then take it to my family's place next time I go over for dinner - what I don't know is whether I'll tell them the truth or try and pretend that I made it myself LOL :-) Update: the next day I did call to order an entire cake and it didn't last very long once the family dug in, got gobbled up because it had an intense great lemon flavor, wonderful.

A runner accidentally spilled two glasses of ice-cold water, leaving my partner with half of his pants and underwear soaked. His first response was to explain why it happened rather than apologize. The staff did clean up the water quickly, and the busboy deserves recognition for being especially attentive in cleaning the table, seat, and floor. Unfortunately, a young child even slipped nearby afterward while there were no wet-floor caution signs. What really bothered us was the lack of care toward my partner. He had to stand up and move out of the way while his wet seat was cleaned and had to ask for towels himself. Our waiter was otherwise nice, but seemed avoidant throughout and afterward. He never genuinely checked on my partner or asked if he was okay. His only passing check-in was asking "How's everything so far?" while walking by without stopping, and when we didn't respond, he continued walking and said, "That's so great." At the end of the meal, there was still no acknowledgment or apology, and we had to ask for a manager ourselves. The runner's comment also left a particularly bad impression. When he overheard us asking whether something could be done about the inconvenience, he walked away saying, "haha, let me get out of here before you get me in trouble." Given that my partner was genuinely uncomfortable and frustrated, this felt extremely unprofessional and insensitive. The manager did apologize, which we appreciated, but the resolution felt more like an attempt to quickly close the complaint than genuinely understand what happened. There was no apparent attempt to ask who was involved or address the inappropriate comment made by the runner. He offered to cover dry-cleaning costs, which wasn't particularly practical at ~10 PM, and then offered dessert, which my partner didn't even want. This was never about expecting a free meal because of an accidental spill. It was about empathy and service recovery. A simple "I'm so sorry this happened. I can only imagine how uncomfortable you must be sitting here cold and wet. Let me get you some towels," followed by checking back later, would have made a huge difference. Mistakes happen. How you handle them is what matters. Cleaning up the water addressed the mess, but it didn't address the customer who had just been soaked. I hope management uses this experience as an opportunity to retrain staff on basic customer service, accountability, and especially service recovery. The busboy showed the attentiveness we would have expected from the rest of the team, but unfortunately the overall handling of the situation left us very disappointed.

This place brings authentic Deep South flavors and hospitality straight to Texas, and every single bite reminded me of home-cooked meals from down South. The signature chicken tenders were crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside, and seasoned to perfection, easily some of the best I've had anywhere. Paired with their seasoned dirty rice, their fluffy, buttery biscuits and perfectly seasoned french fries, it was a match made in heaven. I also had to try the famous Bo Berry biscuit, and it did not disappoint, warm, sweet, bursting with blueberries and that classic glaze that makes it impossible to stop at just one. Normal cocktail prices, but delicious every time. Our waiter/bartender was so nice and kind. Overall when food is concerned, would never go back. But if I wanted a good espresso martini or old fashioned and was in the area... I'd stop in.
