Terrible, except for one dish that they are discontinuing because they say it's seasonal....???!!! Well, I've been to Another Broken Egg at least 8 times since they opened in the Pensacola area, and I can honestly say that every time I've been here it has continually gotten worse.... This last time, on April 8th, at the 9 mile location, was the end of my being nice about it...so that's why I'm writing this.... I ordered a simple egg/sausage/biscuit/country potatoes/side of gravy breakfast, w/coffee...... My girlfriend ordered the Lemon Mascarpone Pancakes/order of bacon, w/rum butter sauce and a fruity drink. My simple breakfast was disgusting....the only thing truly edible were the eggs....my sausage patties were made from "hamburger meat", NOT pork, so they tasted nothing like a sausage!!!....the biscuit was dried out, the country potatoes were dried out and flavorless, the gravy would have been good if it hadn't been "room temperature"!!!! So basically I could only eat the eggs, and the potatoes....and the only way I could eat the potatoes was to put the cold gravy on top of them so i could choke them down....as for my $5 DOLLAR 1 CUP of coffee, it was good but would have been better and a better value, if my server had ever come back and offered me a refill or two for the $5 DOLLAR CUP OF COFFEE(absolutely ediculous!!) ...but that never happened. The Lemon Mascarpone Pancakes w/rum butter sauce(which they're discontinuing at the end of April???) was absolutely awesome, only if my girlfriend hadn't offered me half of hers, I would have walked away from this place hungry.... Overall....this chain's reputation is waining...and that's too bad, because the 1st and 2nd time I went here, it was great....now...not so much.. read more

I've been out of commission for a minute and today I was able to get out and about and the first place we thought of to go for a meal was our favorite spot, ABE. Every time we go we are treated with such gratitude and more like family than just another customer getting grub. Rita and Dawn are both fantastic members of the awesome team that is, in our opinions THE BEST IN NW FLORIDA FOR BREAKFAST, BRUNCH AND LUNCH! These ladies are sweeter than the insane French toast. Even when it's crazy busy they make sure to stop and give you their exquisite personal touch of attention and genuine spirit of gratitude and generosity. It's more than the food, awesome atmosphere and location it's the way you feel start to finish. Excited to arrive and devour calories that make you happy and genuinely satisfied as always being treated like you're a VIP. Food was good, nothing that stands out, but the sausage had good flavor and a delight to eat. Bacon think was a little over cooked, biscuit were good around edges hard , but center was good and the gravy was tasty. Omelet supreme was ok, muffins were a little dry and hard. Pancakes were buttermilk and just pancakes. Classic and omelette supreme. Pancakes ordered extra does not come with platter. The place looks nice and welcoming with partial bar. Went here for breakfast and the service was fantastic and the complimentary beignets for first time visitors was a nice touch. I ordered one of the scrambled egg meals and it was just ok, it was pretty plain and the grits that came with the meal were also pretty bland. Overall the food was just ok but it's still a pretty nice place to go to for brunch with lots of food options. read more

First time here, probably our last. Very underwhelming after seeing all the good reviews. The water was amazing, however! We waited an hour for an omelette and chicken sandwich. Both came out cold and the potatoes were overcooked and soggy. Our food was also missing items that came on them and didn't bother to remake my food that had an allergen on it. I'm sure the food is great fresh but this really missed the mark. read more

I will look to update the stars after a few more visits. We have visited the original location in Pensacola multiple times, closer to downtown. We have enjoyed it very much, and this new location keeps with that tradition. The interior is a more modern feel, which is a departure from the more country/home vibe that the other location provides. Food was good, while the service was okay. Just having opened, time will help with some of the serving hiccups. Overall, I am thrilled in this new location since it is more convenient. I look forward to returning many more times. read more

I have been to this location a few times now and it has been the same everytime. This is such a cute establishment for brunch! Overall it is a great experience although I would say service is not the best. The food is incredible but personally the service ruins it for me. Upon being sat you aren't greeting for at least 5 minutes. Once ordering your drink, you won't see them until at least 5 more minutes. Servers don't seem to be in any kind of hurry as well as not being enthusiastic at all or even attentive. There's no check back once food is brought. After finishing your meal you have to wait an abundance of time to get your check, boxes, etc. We witnessed the same experience for each table surrounding us. My reason for three stars has more to do with the Customer Value Proposition. I thought the food was delicious, the service was good, the parking was tough, the inside was nicely decorated, but the prices were extremely high. I get that alcohol drinks, and fancy coffees you may pay more just be prepared because in the end it is just another broken egg. Two omelettes with extra side of bacon, juice and coffees with tip was approaching $100. I mean if you can afford that good on you, but for breakfast for two, again eggs, I have to skip. read more

My wife and I came in to have some breakfast on Monday 8/18/2025. It was busy and the hostess took down our name and phone number to notify us that our table was ready. About two minutes later we were notified that our table was ready and we returned to the hostess stand. The hostess asked who was next and I let her know we received a notification and gave our name. We were guided to a table and were about to sit down when another guest who followed us over to the table started swearing and cursing at me because apparently he had been waiting for a table ahead of me. I had no idea and tried to apologize to him but he wouldn't stop screaming at me. The hostess moved him away from us and sat him across the room in plain site of my table. My wife and I felt very uncomfortable after the situation worried that the gentleman may try to threaten us further when we decided to leave the restaurant. I am surprised that this establishment would reward such inappropriate behavior by allowing the man who is harassing other guests to stay in the restaurant. My wife and I will not be returning to this establishment because of this situation, very upsetting and disappointing. read more

We've heard rave reviews about this place. It had great atmosphere and was very clean. Our server was prompt and nice. Thats where it stops. Our food arrived slowly. Our eggs were ice cold, along with our cooked potatoes. The french toast was luke and my wife's pancakes were the same way. We didn't eat the eggs or potatoes. Tried eating the French toast but it wasn't good because it was cold now, after tasting the cold eggs and potatoes. The beignets were brought out after we had finished our meals, when they were supposed to be with the meal. Talked with manager. Got Bill reduced and she wanted to give us a free beignets certificate. We didn't want it because we won't be back. Not worth the hype and money. read more

Fast and extremely friendly service. We had a Mediterranean omelette and the cinnamon roll French toast. Delicious!!! The restaurant was very clean and the wait staff who weren't serving customers were all cleaning. What a concept!!! We waited for a week to let them get the kinks out. So on Friday last we came in at around 1:00pm and got one cup of coffee. We ordered and finally left after well over an hour and no food. The customers around us were all in the same boat and when food finally showed up to one of the tables it was an incorrect order and was cold. A large table that was there before we were got their food after over and hour and it was also cold. They told us when they left that going there the first week was a mistake. We wound up leaving and we left money for the coffee and tipped the poor waitress. It wasn't her fault. We were never approached by management to let us know there were obvious issues that day. Food was delicious! We had the Chicken Fried steak Benedict and the Mardi Gras Omelette and both were so yummy. We had Amanda as our waitress and she was wonderful. She accidentally forgot to put in our order (probably from how busy they were) but told us right away. She gave us their biscuit beignets with the rum butter (an amazing little secret) and honey marmalade for us to try as we waited for our entree. Our entree arrived maybe 5-10 minutes later.
