We joined the online waitlist thank goodness. Very busy place. Jodi was our server. From an ambiance perspective nothing special, lotsa tables wedged in close to each other, tables r quite small. From a food perspective, not great. Husb had the bacon eggs Benedict, the 1st set hard as a rock, replaced altho one came broken so the yoke was in the bowl water. I had the huevos rancheros, yikes. One egg I think the cook broke but flipped over on the plate, sadly that egg was missing a yoke;the plate had so so many raw onions it was disgusting..maybe a few with the salsa would be ok, the side of potatoes were cold, chewy and sad. Overall a disappointing and expensive breakfast for how it was. Ice tea was good.

Another great dining experience at our new locals breakfast spot. Service was excellent. I tried the Peach Cobbler French Toast which is on their seasonal menu, with scrambled eggs and bacon. It was a huge portion and delicious. Definitely shareable. Would definitely recommend it. Ended up bringing the rest of the French toast home and had it for dinner :-).

Chicken parm with fett alfredo, bummer - fredo sauce broke,so just greasy butter and the chicken was overcooked dry - pretty sure it's fried (should be sautéed) Thennnn a classic cheese burger medium, and oh my unreal... whoever was on broiler knows what's up!!! I worked kitchen 15 years - started on broiler at steak/burger house so know skills (and slackers) when I see them.. So , low expectations lead to being very impressed overall for an ale house... Been going to ale houses since 1992 but haven't been to one in 11 years ... Good to know they still care - at least this store does.... (New GM btw) you know what they say.... Leadership counts!! The beef dip is always a 5-star classic, and Jamie, Jane, and the rest of the staff are wonderful--friendly, attentive, and they make every visit easy and enjoyable. Great food, great beer, consistent every time. Highly recommend.

They have a fabulous happy hour, and I have to say the appetizers we enjoyed were fabulous! The wild shrimp and crab mac & cheese is actually priceless- rich creamy crunchy shrimp! The two of us could not finish it and also had the seared Ahi tuna- the law that comes with the tuna is a showstopper. The dish itself had to take a backseat, which is sad when the tuna should've been the star but also says a lot about that slaw. The one thing we will be back for is the oysters we did the flame combo, which was the oysters Rockefeller, and the roasted oysters and probably would've licked the shells if it had been appropriate! They were absolutely delicious! I can't forget to mention our service as it was fabulous, and I made sure to tip on the full amount not the discounted amount from happy hour as it was very well deserved ! Decided to stop in for tuna stack and guacamole (that we've previously enjoyed on prior occasions). Seemed odd that on a Thursday evening at 6pm the hostess asked if we had reservations. That should have tipped us off that things were different. The bar was full and the very loud. Our server didn't know what fish was on the special for the evening. We weren't enticed, so we went with our original order. Then the disappointment set in; the tuna stack was literally have the size of the ones we've had there. The mango salsa layer wasn't salsa it was bland chopped mango. The bottom layer of guac was about an inch and the chop tuna was light pink to white (at best). Needless to say the "shareable" lasted about three bites each for two people. Regretfully, we ordered the guacamole that was also disappointing. The portion was smaller than before and lacked flavor (seasoning). A few nuggets of corn topper and no cheese (as described on the menu). That "shareable" comes with a salsa that was the coup de grâce of disappointment; it was runny and lacked any semblance of chopped vegetables. It literally tasted like spaghetti sauce and not the good type. We pulled up our Yelp review from last year and sure enough the portions are not even close in terms of size or presentation. We showed the server our pics from last year's Yelp post and she said that she's never had that order. She gave the chef our feedback. Later on she came back and said the chef acknowledged the "salsa" consistency. He offered to make a fresh batch... our plates were gone by that time and we weren't about to take that offer. The grand finale ended with the check being delivered and our server telling us "an automatic 18% service fee is added to the check"... my wife and I looked at each other with utter disgust. We wasted $47 on two awful shareables and one unsweetened tea. It's sad to see yet another restaurant go down the drain so quickly. It seems like PSC went under new management and lost their kitchen and serving staff. Uploading a new pic of the "soupy salsa" to compare with what we previously had

There is also entertainment like pool tables and other games, but overall it was a pretty chill night since I went on a Wednesday. We sat at the bar. The bartender did not engage in much conversation, but he was polite and attentive. Since it was close to closing time, they only had a few slices of pizza left from next door, so I cannot really speak to the food. Overall, it was a relaxed spot with a good variety of drinks. If you are ever in the Jensen Beach area, it is worth giving House of Brews a try.

What a HUGE disappointment and a ruined Mother's Day dinner!…read moreSadly, we have been coming since they opened and will not be back, and will be sure to warn others to not waste their money. A 5pm reservation would make one think, quality service and a fresh hot kitchen! Well something certainly has changed in the last few months because we received neither! After explaining to our server how excited we were to be there for Mother's Day and how it was our parents first visit we placed an order of 3 appetizers (all more bland and less hot than they should be) - keep in mind the restaurant was mostly empty. As we waited for our entrees (an unusually long time) our server didn't check on drinks or water. When 3 of our 4 entrees did come out, we waited for the 4th as manners would expect. Five minutes, 10 minutes, still nothing. When I finally was able to flag down our server there was some excuse about "mixed up tickets" and that a "manager would be right over." 15 more minutes, all were done with their meals as my husband still awaited his entree. No manager, no server. Completely unacceptable. As my sweet husband cut into his filet, completely over cooked and rubbery, was supposed to be medium- he dare not send it back as everyone else was done and he felt terrible. To make matters worse, my father's fish, was loaded with blood line, ruining the flavor of the meat of the snapper. The least they could do was send a manager over. $200 later- (no alcohol) we will definitely never be back and you shouldn't waste your time or money either. There are plenty of other great restaurants around that will take far better care of you and your family.

You can seat yourself anywhere for lunch under the big grass roof or under some accompanying umbrella tables. Servers came by quickly and were attentive to order details. Drink wise I got a classic Arnold Palmer for one visit, and a Virgin pina colada for the other. Both were good! I like my Arny P less sweet, and I love my pina coladas with a good amount of pineapple. For lunch the first time I got the Philly with the pineapple slaw, which is really something different compared to wherever else you can get a Philly. There wasn't a lot of slaw on my sandwich but it was just enough to brighten up the sandwich. The second time I got the chicken Philly, which has your classic fixings just with chicken instead. Fries on the side both times are delicious! Nice and crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. One standout memory I have is that my mom wanted a loaded fries that was more vegetable than meat which isn't on the menu. However, they were able to accommodate this and delivered very well to her liking! I remember when Philly Down South was just the food truck and a couple of umbrella tables. My mom says that every time she visits Philly Down South, it seems to get a little larger. I love the current grass hut ambiance that even features a stage for some live music! In my opinion, they should be the prime dining option at Stuart beach. Bathrooms for Philly Down South are really the Elliot Museum's, so make sure to bring proper coverups and footwear if you're coming from the beach. Can't wait to come again when I next visit Stuart!

I just wasn't having it - the owner said he would look into it but also when I place to go orders I make the tip an exact even amount - whatever total they put into the system they added a $10+ tip... that was falsely put into the system by whoever put the ticket in. That is theft. I truly hope he got down to the bottom of this I have worked in the restaurant industry and met people who do add extra tip- since (from what I was told by othermost people don't notice and it's not a big amount- thus why I always make to an even amount on the check.
