Great service and delicious food. A Tuscaloosa favorite. Staff was very friendly but wait time can be long. Highly recommend adding your position on the waitlist via Yelp app ahead of time.

Let's begin with the menu which changes seasonally. I've got a few favorites on last season's menu but this one is just as good! I started with the Classic Bacon burger which was two (hand-formed) beef patties, bacon, cheddar cheese, tomato, and pickled onions on a brioche bun. The parties were juicy and perfectly seasoned and the pickled onions bacon and cheddar cheese played beautifully with the other flavors. It also came with a kosher dill spear! I mean who doesn't love pickles?!?! Then I had the Southern Chicken Sandwich, which you can get fried or grilled, mine was grilled and came with bacon, tomato, pickled onions, ( held the ranch) on a brioche bun. The two chicken tenders were cooked just right, the pickled onions?!?! Scrumdilliumptious! And the thick-cut, crispy, bacon made this sandwich a HIT! It also came with a kosher dill spear. Now to the Ridiculously delicious Goat Cheese, lemon, and blueberry pancakes. Light, fluffy, savory, with the perfect amount of lemon kisses all over them! Do yourself a favor and get 100% Real Maple syrup! DO NOT DISRESPECT these pieces of culinary mastery with table syrup, you will be found guilty of high treason. The ambiance was relaxed and inviting and the wait staff were all nice as well. I think Brice was our waiter and he Nailed the customer service. 5 stars!

We don't eat here often because it's always so busy and there is always a wait (breakfast time.) When we do eat here, it has always been good. It's right on the water which is nice. You can sit inside or outside depending on what kind of ambience you want. The service has always been good for us and the food has always been very good as well. We do enjoy coming here. We just dislike the wait time.

Gluten free Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese Pancakes

The view, service, and food were all amazing. I always get the gluten free pancake meal but usually to go. It always hits the spot. I got the blueberry ricotta and they were not worth the change. Kinda gross, but scraped it off and had my normal pancakes. My friend wanted the inside from an omelet without the egg and they were able to do it over grits. It was amazing! Our server was attentive and made sure we got what we wanted. I don't know that I would wait in line here, but I would absolutely recommend getting to go if it's busy or going when students are gone. They do have an online wait!

This place is incredibly overpriced. The omelets are really not any better than Waffle House, so I'll stick to their cheaper menu.

Scrambled eggs with o ions, red potatoes coneca sausage, bacon, on top of house mayonnaise, topped with fried oysters and jalapeño. Perfectly pouched eggs on top of a fluffy biscuit smothered with sausage gravy. Tasty! Try something new and you will be pleasantly surprised! If you're visiting university of Alabama this is a must stop for breakfast. The servers are nice and knowledgeable of the food . The inside has an upstairs and downstairs. Roll tide! It was busy this morning, as it was a Sunday, but we were seated quickly and waited on promptly. This is a massive location. A lot of seats and a lot of people working. Food was good. Highlight was the homemade jam which was so spectacular I wanted to dunk everything in it. Breakfast plate was good. I didn't get my eggs as ordered (asked for sunny side up and got scrambled) and I tried the smoked sausage, which is a meat option, but it wasn't very good quality sausage and possibly over smoked? I usually like smoked sausage and this wasn't it. Benny was very good and the biscuit was spectacular which, in Alabama, is an important thing. Will be back again, and will definitely think of taking visiting guests for breakfast here. A good addition to the lineup.

We were able to order right away and sit down. They were out of a couple of items we wanted, but that was no big deal. The atmosphere was a dive restaurant with Crimson Tide memorabilia galore. The food came out very quickly. The food was standard. There was no "wow factor" about it. It didn't taste bad, but it just seemed basic. The hash browns could have been crispier, but they seemed as if they were cooked on a surface that wasn't quite hot enough. You may be asking yourself, hey dude, why the 4 stars? Well, here is why. You cannot beat the price for the amount of food you can get here. The Crimson Tide memorabilia here can't be matched. It covers all sports! It is also right outside the stadium. If you are a Crimson Tide fan, then this is a do not miss for you!

Still, we were told there would be a 15-20 minute wait. We waited about 35 minutes before seating. Make it make sense. That said, the restaurant sits right along the Black Warrior River, which offers a really pleasant view, especially from the patio. On a cool spring day like today, it's hard to beat outdoor seating here. Tuscaloosa is buzzing with football fans for the annual A-Day spring game, which adds to the energy around town. My better half ordered the shrimp and grits, and I went with the steak fajita bowl, minus the sunny-side-up egg. Even at my age, I can't do the runny yolk situation, I always ask for my eggs over hard. With that change, I'll say the fajita bowl jumped up to one of my top breakfast/brunch go-to dishes in town. Yes, I know it's technically brunch, but it was before 11 a.m., so I'm calling it breakfast. The shrimp and grits were solid, though the tails were still on the shrimp, which meant a bit of extra peeling at the table, my wife wasn't a fan of that part, but she still finished the dish and enjoyed it overall. Only minor gripe on the food side: ice seems to be a rare commodity here, I'd love a few more cubes in the water. But overall, the food was very good, the patio seating is absolutely the way to go, and the river view is fantastic.
