We just had our wedding here at the beginning of March and our family and guests can't stop raving about what an amazing day it was. The venue is absolutely beautiful! It's classic and elegant and truly doesn't need any more decor to look phenomenal. We had a few elements in the middle of each table but we hardly had any flowers and they truly weren't even needed or missed. The food. OMG. 10/10. It was ready as guests walked in and took their seats and it just kept coming. It would.not.stop! The pastry turnover....I dream about it. Im already trying to see how I can have another party or catered food or something so I can eat the food again. The service was a 20/10. From Haik, to George, to every single wait staff and server, everybody was phenomenal. Our guests even commented about how nice the bartenders were! Came here for a friends wedding. Interesting banquet hall. In the middle of a busy street. They had the ceremony and party in the same spot-ish but after the ceremony, we were put out in the patio (front), that's not really a patio? Very white and kind of palace-y themed. Definitely a place to hold a lot of people and have a DJ? I'm not sure if the food that we ate was from there? But it wasn't bad. I raided that freaking dessert table the most. They had some yum-yums there that weren't artificially sweet. There's some parking on the side streets if you can find it. If not, they do valet. I can't remember what the charge was. We had our wedding reception here at LA Banquet, Glenoaks with Anoush Catering on June 30 2023. Everything was perfect! We had so many compliments. The Flavors of Anoush was a HIT! everyone loved the apricot vodka they provided and liked that that got a bite to eat after the ceremony. Food was amazing! I didn't get to try everything during the reception (other brides get it) but they provided us with the leftovers and man was it good! We had so many compliments on the food too Overall very amazing. From the moment we started planning our wedding 5 months prior, Haik was by our side, and helped us with every little detail. Pros: - Haik is the guy! He was so flexible, very kind, and did everything he could to make sure our special day is planned exactly how we want it. He worked well with our wedding coordinator as well. He also had a great list of vendors for us. He responded quickly to any text or call. I cannot say enough great things about him. He was one of the reasons our wedding day was so smoothe and seamless. - the catering, Anoush! OMG! The food was just fantastic! And so much of it! My most favorites were the salmon, fillet mignon, bukra, anything w shrimp. - the dance floor! Beautiful, white, and great size for our 180-guest wedding. - location! Some Banquets are right by the street, but Glenoaks has a small parkinglot in front of it for valet which makes it look more formal and classy. - the servers were fantastic! Clearing plates on time and providing food and refills immediately and seamlessly. - large, clean bathrooms was a big plus! - great lighting and interior design! I loved the mirrors on the walls and the chandelier above the sweetheart table. Will look gorgeous in pics. - you can't beat the price! The price was very reasonable for the amount of service we received. Cons: I wouldn't call these cons, but rather facts that might be important to some. They were not that important for us to cause trouble though. - the fog machine was not as foggy as we wanted for our first dance. - no room for bride to hide/get ready/rest, but Haik graciously gave us his own office to use as much as we like and even had a great amount of food set up in there just for us. There is a mirror in the office but not a tall one, and lighting in the office would not be ideal to start your makeup but definitely adequate for touch ups. Overall would 100% recommend. I would choose this location all over again and will continue to recommend it to our family and friends going forward. read more

Haik was also very helpful in handling all the additional rentals and planning for us. The easiest thing though was that the catering service was included (Anoush catering), which had a lot of variety of foods, And my Food critic family absolutely loved it. Due to Covid, my destination wedding was cancelled for June 2020 and my husband and I decided to book a January 2021 date at the Anoush Glenoaks ballroom. Unfortunately covid didn't work in our favor and we needed to postpone our wedding again. We have been speaking with Haik throughout the process and he's been so fantastic in assuring us our deposit was safe and would be held for a future event, which was no issue for us as it is not their fault we were in a lockdown and they have lost business just like many other business due to the pandemic. Working with Haik has been an absolute pleasure. We've never stayed waiting for an answer. He would immediately return our calls and texts and keep us updated throughout the process. Not once did we feel like our money or deposits were lost. We had our destination wedding at last but decided it was time to figure out an event for our LA guests. After going back and fourth with different dates, which Haik was so patient and helpful with us in choosing the perfect date to make sure all vendors were still available, we decided to book a gender reveal / wedding celebration party in August 2021 and apply our deposits to the new date. The entire process has been hassle free. As a covid postponed bride / covid pregnant mom to be you can imagine the stress one would go through with so many cancellations but not when you're dealing with the best Anoush Banquet Halls! Our event was phenomenal. From helping us through the gender reveal process of doing a light show, assisting us in so many guest cancellations last minute, and having the absolute BEST staff to work the night of the event, my husband and I are soooooooo satisfied from the professionalism of Anoush banquet halls and especially Haik!!!!
