I had such a great experience at the Anthem Grille today that I had to share it. The partnership with Four Peaks Brewing is already a win -- I was enjoying a perfectly chilled Cosmic IPA while taking in the beautiful view of the golf course and the surrounding mountains. It's hard to beat that combination of great beer and Arizona scenery. What really stood out, though, was the service. A track light above my original seat was flickering like a strobe, and before I even had to say anything, Teresa, the bartender, noticed the issue and immediately took care of me. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure I was comfortable. She moved me to a better spot at the bar without hesitation and checked in to make sure everything was good. That kind of awareness and hospitality is rare, and it made the whole visit even better. The atmosphere here is relaxed but elevated -- indoor and outdoor seating, great weather, golfers and gophers doing their thing, and a menu that's surprisingly affordable for how nice the place feels. It really is a luxurious little oasis in Anthem. Huge thanks to Teresa for the excellent service. I'll definitely be back. read more

This place is awesome if you want classic American food and don't want to venture out into the bigger cities. Anthem Grille offers burgers, salads, sandwiches, and all the sides you could want at great prices. The portions are very generous as well. They offer outdoor dining overlooking the golf course, but obviously, you'd want to dine inside during the hot summer months in AZ! The atmosphere is casual and very laid back. They have a bar separate from the dining room, which is a good size. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we didn't have to wait long, either. I am a fan of their House Made Potato Chips! You can't eat fresh chips and they give you a lot!! The B.L.A.T. was perfect, and so was the fish. I like when the bacon can be seen sticking out of the sammie. I dislike when you can't see any of it, lol. They offer specials each day, which are advertised on a board before you walk in. Our server was polite and had a great upbeat attitude. She accommodated our requests and checked with us often. When I'm back in the area, I'll have to return so I can try other items on their menu. Went here on a Saturday evening. Turns out they have a Saturday menu. No burgers, no steaks on the menu. They will make it if you ask for it. The menu didn't excite us in the least so we left. Staff were pleasant and understanding. One young lady even came out after us to offer recommendations. This apparently is the snow bird menu, as things slow in the summer. Very beautiful restaurant. The staff is absolutely friendly and very helpful and attentive. The problem is, every time I come here, I order something different and it's always just "alright". Nothing is ever GOOD. Their Club is horrible. Honestly, I don't know why they call it a Club. Just a warm sandwich with turkey and ham. Love this place!!! But.... I have ordered the Cajun Chicken Pasta several times! I am a local for sure. This dish is so good! When made by one of the chefs. The other chef? It's very peppery and spicy. Yes, it is Cajun, but the second chef makes it too spicy! So why is the same dish made so differently?! (It even looks different). Not sure, but the regulars say that some of the menu items are made very differently, so you can't be sure what you're getting. I think hope that they can come up with a common way to make the standard dishes! It's not fun being surprised by this now extra peppery, spicy way is supposed to be ok! Had exceptional service from Brian who seated us in outdoor bar area as requested. He was personable and highly capable. Drinks and food were great! My husband and I shared a cheesy pepperoni flatbread and meaty chicken quesadilla. Lovely relaxing setting on a beautiful evening. The food was good, however, I don't particularly enjoy when a worker records videos of guests. She may have not meant any harm but it felt invasive. This completely ruined the experience for me. Regardless of the food or service otherwise, recording customers without their knowledge is inappropriate and unprofessional. I hope management addresses this, because it's not something I'd expect or tolerate at a restaurant. read more

We stopped in after our round of golf and had cocktails and an app. I had a nice Sauvignon Blanc. Our app was the chips and salsa and queso. Everything was good. Loved the queso sauce. We have Been here a few times over the past 3 years food is always good. Decent kids menu too. We went about a month ago and were surprised by their special Saturday menu. I was not a fan of it there really wasn't a good variety on the menu. Lots of the same meats but on different sandwiches or plate options, there wasn't even 1 salad option except for a basic side salad. Otherwise we normally enjoy the food and menu options. read more

It was ok, Usually restaurants located at a golf course are usually decent. This one wasn't so much. I truly hope it's not much competition in area is the reason? They need to step it up a bit. I needed to put some miles on my truck bwfore I smog it. So I drove down to Athem Grill for breakfast. I had the breakfast burrito. This burrito had eggs, bell peppers, pork belly, potatoes, queso, and salsa on the side. I thought it was a bit to soggy caused by eggs not finished, or the queso was to thin? Either way it really didn't make the meal that enjoyable. I need to come back to try other items to have a really accurate review. So I'll be back! read more

A previous review I wrote for the Anthem Grill was removed either due to how long ago I wrote it or for some other reason the cosmic universe refuses to divulge. Never mind though as the menu, staff and overall feel of the place has changed dramatically. Gone is the day of ordering your food at the counter and picking it up yourself as if you were at a Chipotle. The place has put on its big by pants and stepped up its game. The menu now includes smoked brisket, ribs and pulled pork. A smoker runs most of the day preparing for this change as they attempt to match a smokehouse feel. They still have a little way to go, as the ribs were a bit too fatty and the prices a bit too high just yet, but they are well on their way to providing a nice dining experience which is much needed out here. They also have a pretty decent bar going on and their bartender Brian is a riot. read more

They recently changed the menu; They don't have any good dinner options. The salmon they offer is dyed Atlantic farm salmon. I could have remained a customer until they deleted the few good items off the menu. If you like salads, burgers, I guess it's a good place, other than that, it's no longer a dinner place. read more

Have lived in the Florence area for over 8 years and had never set foot in this place. Went over for a light dinner with another couple last week and was pleasantly surprised with ambience, and the food. I would say that it was not super great, but was very good. The 4 of us had an assortment of different items from the menu including appetizers and all of our ordered items turned out very well. Ambience is good, and the service was OK. My suggestion would be however, that they may put a small sign up that indicates where the entry to the restaurant is. We went to the restaurant after dark, and had a little bit of a challenge seeing the walkway, and finding the entrance to the restaurant. All else was good though once inside the restaurant. read more

I've heard great things about this place but unfortunately I haven't had the best experience. At times the grille is not properly staffed which causing a delay in service. The food quality is subpar. I've been very disappointed with the quality and overall taste lately. One time the tacos tasted amazing but every time after that they have been inedible. Great place to relax and enjoy the night with friends. Pulled Pork sandwich was a miss, they ran out. So I settled for the brisket sandwich that was a bit on the dry side. Food was good. Just watch your bill! We charged on our VISA the cost including a 20% tip. When I checked charges against my statement, they had added an additional $4.00 - don't know why. Decided last minute to make reservations for a large group. Madi was super nice and helpful both on the phone and once we got to the restaurant. Our table was waiting for us when we got there. The restaurant was clean, our server was attentive and our food came out quickly. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we were allowed to bring our own cake in for a birthday celebration.
