I reached out to four landscaping companies on Yelp to set up estimates. Peter with Anthem responded within an hour or so and was in the area so he came out that day. Within a day or two, he emailed me an estimate. It included a computer generated picture of my backyard and what the new plants, rock etc would look like. The price was reasonable, but I still wanted to get the other estimates to compare. WELL, two of the others I scheduled via Yelp called withing minutes of their scheduled arrival time to say they couldn't make it and needed to move to different day. Another of the company's showed up 10mins after I told them I had to leave for work. They let themselves into my backyard and sent me a cheesy estimate without any discussion with me as to what I was looking to do. Jump ahead, I hired Anthem because of the promptness, and price. I couldn't be happier. They showed up when they said they would even though it was raining, they cleaned up every day before they left and I am so pleased that I am hoping to hire them in the near future to do more work on the front yard. read more

I recently moved into a new construction house with just dirt in the backyard so I contacted Peter from Anthem Landscape and he was at my house the next day taking measurements and helping with design ideas. He was very familiar with the Inspirada HOA and designed the landscape to be compliant with those policies. The price in his quote was very reasonable and much less than other companies in the area. When I decided to go forward with the project, he did all the paperwork needed for HOA approval and got started on the yard right away. Him and his team worked very hard and had it done in 2 days. We hired Pete and Steve to landscape the unfinished backyard, as builders inexplicably don't complete the yard landscaping ever, unfortunately. After working through the plans and getting HOA approval, Pete, Steve, and their crew came and did a fantastic job in 1 day! The work the crew did in that one day included: removal and replacement of a too-big tree in the front yard, adding rocks in the side pathways, putting in a pool of artificial turf with pavers in the back, building two side planter boxes, installing a drip system for the backyard, and planting 6 vines on the side yards to add some additional green. We were really pleased with all of the work by the crew, and the time that they took to clean up after themselves as well. We'd gladly use Pete, Steve, and the crew again, based on the attention that they paid to making sure the work was done efficiently and well. I've already asked for them to come and do my monthly service, and planning for future updates when the weather cools down again. We had Anthem Landscape & Design give us a quote for taking out concrete and concrete steps on the front walkway and replacing them with pavers as well as updating our front yard. We decided to go ahead with the pavers on the porch and walkway all the way to the sidewalk. The guys were here early and got the job done very quickly. They only had to come back the next day to do one little strip on the driveway but it looks so great! We are so happy with Pete and Anthem Landscape. After checking their reviews here and their web site I called them and left a message. They texted me back and said I am located out of their service area. I am located in Mountains edge area, Southwest Las Vegas. According to their website they are in Henderson. So that's a pretty small service area they have. I'm not saying anything negative about them but just letting people know that apparently if you are not in the Henderson area it's likely a waste of time to contact them. They should probably put their service area on their website to avoid wasting people's time. read more

I then gave a description of what I wished for the space augmented with some minor details. A couple of days later, I received a digital rendering of the rear landscaping very close to what I had described. After a couple of minor adjustments, Pete then provided a reasonable cost quote. I told him that I needed some trees and shrubs around a newly installed pool. Since this is a vacation home, we would need to do preliminary work thru emails. He stopped by my house on a Friday to take some pictures. Over the weekend, I received a couple of pictures of my property with the proposed work superimposed in. After I told him that I liked it, I received a formal proposal and price by Tuesday. Maybe, I am used to east coast pricing, but I thought his price was very reasonable. I think it's only fair to put my review back up to warn others. I got no-showed by this company then after several unreturned calls and emails, I wrote a one star Yelp review. It took the Yelp review to finally get someone to contact me back, but all I got was a sob story text from Pete saying how this was a one time occurrence, they'd lost my number and it wouldn't happen again, but I see from another reviewer that it has. Seems funny that he had my number to text me that?? Steve came out and did a walk around out place and said he'd be getting ahold of me in a week or so with an estimate. I never got that call so over the course of the next month, I left him a few messages and emails. I got absolutely nothing back until, like I said above, I wrote the Yelp review. I am in a bad situation from another landscaper I found on Yelp who did some shoddy work and now won't return my calls or emails. If you can't get a company to call you back before they do the work, how will you get them to call you back after they do the work? If Anthem didn't want to do the work, they could have just told me instead of pulling the Vegas No-Show and wasting a month of my time waiting for them. read more

I went with Anthem Landscape due to reviews, however my experience was not so good with Maintenance service. I was very adamant about communication but that did not happen, most of the time I go no response to my questions. First two months of service was ok,but when March came they did nothing to get winter dead plants cut back, asked for tree to be trimmed and thinned even sent pictures, 6 weeks later nothing done. The yard looks neglected. Several things that should have been done on a monthly basis never done. I would not recommend. Very disappointed. read more

Anthem came out to revive our front lawn, inspect the irrigation system, and replace the rock and place some pavers. The irrigation system was full of dirt and rocks and was in very sad condition. They took the extra time to fix it properly and didn't leave until everything was complete. They even took the extra time to hide a bypass line access cap I had put in last year. We were so happy with the work done, we had them come back and do the same in the back. And again exceeded our expectations. All for what we believed to be a more than fair price.
