I pulled into the Sam's Club parking lot in Surprise the day after a truck running uncovered threw…read morea rock at my windshield, pitting it. I saw a sign from Quacked, stopped and asked Tom a couple of questions, then went into the store and did my research. I came back the next morning, sat in my car and ate breakfast from Taco Bell while chatting with Tom as he filled and cured the hole in my windshield. I've included a photograph. I'm very happy with the result. You can see a tiny bit from the outside (pictured) and nearly nothing from the inside (so not pictured.) In the past two weeks, I've had stones on AZ 303 damage both my hood and my windshield. I suspect I will be seeing Tom again soon. The price was reasonable, the conversation friendly, and it was somehow comforting that the work was done by the steady hands of a retired tree surgeon. Time from start to finish was about 20 minutes. I left the reflection of the phone's lens in the picture for a reference point. Very small visible mark afterward, much better than I expected.

I had a full meeting schedule so I told them to let me know when they were done. The technician finished and let me know the car was locked. When I came out to go home, not only was it a better windshield than I had before but they took my parking permit and oil change notification from the old one and put it on the new one. I was expecting to have to do that on my own. The tags they could not replace (clean freak), they left in my car in case I needed it. These things sound small but it was stuff I never thought of. Recently I hired AGD Auto Glass Direct (AKA Glastek) to replace the windshield in my car. Prior to…read morehaving it scheduled, I asked if there was any sort of cash bonus/offer. Based on my vehicle, they told me $90, at which point I filed a glass claim with AGD/Glastek on the line. Once the claim was filed, I was told by my insurance to expect a link by text to take photos of the damage. While I did receive the link, AGD/Glastek called me just a few hours later stating they had the referral to complete the work and wanted to schedule. I questioned this as I had done nothing with the link yet that was provided by insurance, yet they assured me that b/c they had the referral I was good to go. The following day they replaced my windshield, but did not give me the $90 (claimed they forgot it and would mail it). Well the following day after that, they called/text me stating they needed my help as my insurance company wasn't paying them due to an issue with the referral. They asked me to call my insurance, which I did (spent an hour of my time trying to sort out their problem). My insurance company indicated they never sent any referral as I never sent in the pics, etc. They indicated AGD/Glastek jumped the gun and should not have replaced the windshield without the proper referral in place. A day or two later after that, AGD/Glastek reached out to me and threatened that if I did not call my insurance again to assist them that they would refuse to pay the $90 cash bonus. At that point I became quite frustrated with their demeaner and/or threat, seeing they are the ones who created this entire problem. So as of now, they never paid their cash bonus that they agreed to. Beware, I would strongly encourage anyone to look elsewhere as this is clearly false advertising.
