This store is genius! The kids play in a safe and fun area while parents get a break to actually look and shop. The day I went Christina was able to play with my daughter. This was major for me to have time to look, it also allowed for me to spend more money in their store so great marketing strategy on their part. Veronica was very helpful in showing me around store and gift wrapping my items for a friend. I went in to get a gift but ended buying a bundle of goodies for my family too. Just stumbled across this shop while having lunch at Eat Chow. Wow, what a hidden and unique gem in Orange County. Upstairs has a lot of really rad vintage reproduction clothing, shoes and accessories. Definitely $$$ but sooo many gorgeous and unique items you'd only find online. I'll be saving my pennies for a cute dress over there! Downstairs is like a wonderland of cutesy kitsch toys, party supplies and gifts. Lots of stuff you'd see on Instagram but IRL. It reminds me of Wacko's SOAP shop in LA but I think it's actually a better collection with way fresher merchandise. I'll be back this weekend to shop for my friend's birthday! This place is SO COOL. I live close by and have always wondered what it is, so went in today to see. This "shop" has it all - funny gag gifts, bachelorette party stuff, an amazing array of baby and kids clothes and toys, and other unique items - perfect for finding cool gifts as well. Upstairs are women's clothes and shoes, jewelry, etc. The owner finds items from boutiques all around the world, and what she finds are super cute, some eccentric, one-of-kind clothes and accessories. It is on the "expensive" side but they carry brands that are organically made so its def worth it to give it a try. Its a good place to take your kids shopping with you, I take my seven year old and he enjoys having a look at all the neat fun and quirky toys they have. I went in here on a Monday with both of my young boys. My 4 year old immediately asked to play in their play area and we were told it was $5 or if you spend over $10 it's free. Okay - a bit ridiculous to have to pay while I'm shopping but I get it, they have someone there manning the play area and keeping an eye on things so I said okay. I was planning on spending well over $100 on some items for my boys and a couple gifts I needed. Maybe not a lot to them but seeing as I was the only customer in there I would think they should welcome someone looking to spend. I brought him over to play so I could shop without him getting into everything when she told me she needed to see a receipt first. I had well over $50 worth of stuff already in my hands and said well I'm planning to buy all this and she said she still needed to see a receipt. What is the point of a play area to entertain the kids if I can't utilize it while I'm shopping? I told her to forget it, put my things down and left. Let me share how your policy SHOULD work. I give you the $5 for him to play while I shop. You give me a voucher that I can take to the register upon purchase and if my purchase is over your threshold then you take the $5 off my purchase. Then you have a happy customer and probably a larger sale. Instead you have a customer who had to leave with a sobbing four year old and no sale. I've made the mistake of shopping here over the past few months, spending a few hundred bucks on shower and birthday gifts. Last week I bought my own toddler a cute $15 Sugar Booger plastic cup, which she dropped and shattered. I was suprised because the cheap $3 straw cups from Target bounce without cracking when dropped the same way. I brought the broken cup back to Anthill hoping they'd stand by the products they sell for a returning customer. Nope, the owner just said she wouldn't help me. I would rather spend my money at Granola Babies where they actually care about their customers and community! I had driven past this shop for awhile never realizing what they sold. Sadly, most toy shops like Toy R Us are gone so it's hard to find a brick and mortar nowadays. So when I looked up toy shops this store popped up. Cute boutique shop with many items ranging from toys, books and clothing I've seen online on other shops I shop and browse at so it's nice to see them in person. Some of their items are comparable to online prices but since it's a boutique a lot of their children clothing is a bit too pricey for my budget. They also sell gifts for adults too in the back (didn't realize it shares space with eat chow) and when I went this spring they have a shop for women's apparel on the second floor. Nothing that really caught my eye but there's definitely some cool grown up gifts. One could spend well over an hour in this store. For first time shoppers, they offer a discount and shared they have an outlet spot too. read more

Store is so cluttered, its overwhelming and hard to shop. Childcare for the play area was the only attraction, but it's now closed since they don't have anyone to work the play area - even though they have 4-5 other employees (with the rudest attitudes who don't bother to ask if you need any help) lazily playing on their phones or attempting to organize the chaos of products in the store. Why not just send one of them to the play area? Or at least post on social media that childcare is closed. Just too many bad experiences in my last 4 visits, so I am no longer a loyal customer. We stopped in here out of sheer curiosity Sunday afternoon after eating at Eat Chow which is connected. We were so glad we did! This shop has an adorable selection of vintage inspired women's clothing which is very unique as well as the most darling children's clothes and toys. It made me wish I still had little ones! I ended up buying some fun vintage toys, puzzles and lunch kits for my babies ages 15 and 19. We just couldn't resist! Some items are pretty pricey but everything is unique and high end. It's the perfect mix of classic/whimsical/retro very European/Asian! I can't wait until I need to shop for a child's gift because I know where I'll find the perfect special items! The employees could have been a little friendlier but they weren't rude by any means and the selection of goodies just made our day!
