At first, I thought I was imagining it, so I deliberately walked to a different area to see if they would continue. They did. They tried to cover it up by constantly asking if we needed help. Within about five minutes, my friend and I were asked three separate times if we needed assistance. They also kept pretending to straighten merchandise and put items back on shelves right next to me while watching us. It was obvious what they were doing. My friend and I got so irritated that we just left without buying anything. It was clear we weren't welcome there. It's sad because I used to come here all the time in high school and throughout my 20s. I don't know what happened to this place, but they clearly racially profile their customers. You would think a store that sells so many products promoting inclusion and progressive values, especially in such a liberal city, would hold itself to the same standard. This is covert racism, and I will never be coming back to this establishment. Do better.

I was drawn to this jewelry store by the allure of a stunning fashion ring, originally in white gold. Despite my overwhelming desire for it in yellow gold, the representative assured me it was possible. But, oh, the disappointment! After shelling out a hefty $3500, they casually informed me it would be dipped in yellow gold - absolutely unacceptable! Frustrated, I demanded a refund, only to be met with a cold, "store credit only." With a heavy heart, I agreed to their promise of crafting a new ring in six weeks. The day finally arrived to collect my treasure, but the joy was short-lived. The size was ludicrously wrong, and the excuse about ring sizers being different from place to place left me incredulous. They begrudgingly agreed to fix it, and as I eagerly picked up my ring today, the disillusionment hit harder than ever. Not only was the size still off, but the craftsmanship screamed of incompetence. The band looked like it had been resized at some unprofessional, makeshift spot - tacky, uneven, and far from professionally finished. I'm left with no choice but to seek another jeweler to rectify this mess, hoping for a consistent band thickness all around. My vehement advice: steer clear of this place! While they tried to make amends they fell short. A bitter reminder that my hard-earned money did not translate into the worth I expected. read more
