I was drawn to this jewelry store by the allure of a stunning fashion ring, originally in white gold. Despite my overwhelming desire for it in yellow gold, the representative assured me it was possible. But, oh, the disappointment! After shelling out a hefty $3500, they casually informed me it would be dipped in yellow gold - absolutely unacceptable! Frustrated, I demanded a refund, only to be met with a cold, "store credit only." With a heavy heart, I agreed to their promise of crafting a new ring in six weeks. The day finally arrived to collect my treasure, but the joy was short-lived. The size was ludicrously wrong, and the excuse about ring sizers being different from place to place left me incredulous. They begrudgingly agreed to fix it, and as I eagerly picked up my ring today, the disillusionment hit harder than ever. Not only was the size still off, but the craftsmanship screamed of incompetence. The band looked like it had been resized at some unprofessional, makeshift spot - tacky, uneven, and far from professionally finished. I'm left with no choice but to seek another jeweler to rectify this mess, hoping for a consistent band thickness all around. My vehement advice: steer clear of this place! While they tried to make amends they fell short. A bitter reminder that my hard-earned money did not translate into the worth I expected. read more

I ask, can you call to see where original bail is? Since it is and was paid for separately from the necklace and pendant, one hundred dollars. Linda replies, no, I cannot call him. It is his day off. He is with his family. I ask for the manager or owner, Gemma. She said, no, I'm sorry, she is not in today. I ask Linda for a receipt for my lost bail. Linda writes me on a Post-it that I am looking for a missing bail. She assures me that we will find it and it will be returned, not to worry. I said okay, and I walked to my truck, her saying goodbye. Got to my truck to check out the new bail, because Linda had put it on without me really getting a chance to look at it off the chain. Come to find out, compared to pictures I had previously of this bail, that this bail was indeed the same exact bail I had turned in -- stretched out, worked-over metal, and polished only on the outside. I walk back in to talk to Linda and to tell her what I had found. She claimed she only works there. She has no idea what's going on. And that if she could keep the necklace to show the jeweler what was going on, we'll get this sorted out. I told her I would not like to pay for a brand new bail, new silver and new working, if all you did was stretch my original bail and slightly polish it. Linda agreed with me that that was unfair. I told her I don't believe you guys are trying to mess with me, and this was a misunderstanding, and that we would get that figured out today. Next day, receive calls from Linda stating that it was a mix-up and that I would have the new one in a week. And it was just complimentary that they would make the original one I brought in work. Which, by the way, is what I asked for in the first place. I go down there, Linda lies to my face, insults me. Also admitted that if I didn't notice, she would have gotten away with this fraudulent sale. I have been buying jewelry from them for about 15 years. I will need to find a new small business jeweler. I do not trust that business, Gemma's Jeweler, anymore. They tried to hustle me. I got a full refund after back and forth three times. Do not recommend!

My husband served on active duty in the United States Navy, deployed overseas between Dubai and Kuwait. During that deployment, both the engagement ring and the wedding band were specially made as symbols of commitment, sacrifice, and family. When he returned home, we wanted those two rings customized into a single ring, which is why we brought them to Alexander Jewelers. Before any warranty was issued, Alexander Jewelers first appraised and evaluated both rings, confirmed their condition, and only after that appraisal issued a Diamond & Gemstone Warranty. They were enthusiastic about the rings, willingly took them on, and over the years welded, resized, and customized the rings in their shop. We also paid for additional services and enhancements whenever recommended. As part of the warranty, we were required to bring the rings in for six-month inspections, which explicitly included complimentary cleaning -- something we did faithfully for many years, including as recently as one month ago. The warranty and inspection booklet were personally issued and signed by the owners. The inspection record is signed by Jake Tekin, and the appraisal was prepared and signed by Raymond Tekin (GIA Graduate Diamonds). Jake himself cleaned the rings many times over the years and has seen our children grow up, which makes what happened next even more shocking. When we recently came in calmly and respectfully seeking clarification about why cleaning was suddenly being refused, Jake became rude and accusatory, claiming we were "yanking his arm," "being aggressive," and "making his staff uncomfortable." None of this was true. We were not yelling, not hostile, and were simply asking reasonable questions about a sudden policy change. He also stated that we "must have been given the warranty by accident," despite years of documented service and inspections. As a long-standing family in Rancho Cucamonga (over 25 years in the community, even before Victoria Gardens was built), being falsely characterized this way during a calm conversation was deeply upsetting. We believe in respect, accountability, and honoring long-standing relationships -- especially with families who have supported a business for a decade. What should have been a straightforward discussion about policy turned into false accusations and dismissal, instead of transparency and professionalism. After years of loyalty, paid services, and trust, this experience was devastating. We will never return, will never refer anyone, and strongly caution others -- especially long-time customers and military families -- to think carefully about whether this business truly stands behind the values it claims. This was a painful end to what we believed was a trusted relationship built on shared American values.
