I had been meaning to get my ring re-sized for a few months, needing a larger size and had put it off. Fast forward to the day I fly out to a wedding - I really wanted to wear my own wedding band! I called TQ Jewelers asking if they worked with rose gold and could potentially do a same day ring re-size. They said it was likely, but they couldn't promise until they saw the ring. My husband was in a similar boat, so we took both our rings over. Not only did they have the ring the same day, but re-sized it in a matter of *hours* because they knew we were flying later that evening. I found Steve's shop when I was searching for a reputable jeweler on Yelp. His hundreds of satisfied customers and extremely high reviews sold me and I called to arrange a time to bring my item into his store. The center stone of my engagement ring had fallen out and I needed to have it re-placed in the setting. Steve explained that because the setting was platinum and because of the way the setting was designed, the ring would need to be entirely rebuilt because the high heat required to repair the prong would damage the inlaid diamonds along the sides. He gave me a very reasonable quote for all of his work and told me it would be about a month. 2 1/2 weeks later, I got a text saying that my ring was ready for pick up. I drove down and he had completely built a brand new ring for me. He did such an amazing job and it looks just like it did when we bought it! Steve is such a friendly and personable guy who does incredible work and is very fair with his pricing. I'm so glad I took my ring to him and plan on bringing my grandmother's ring down in the near future to discuss a redesign using the existing stones. I look forward to working with him again and would recommend him to anyone who needs a repair done or even custom jewelry design. My wedding /engagement set broke after 23 years. The ring shank split from the stone setting on the engagement ring. I brought it to TQ to fix the setting and prongs. Steve put the ring under a microscope to show me there were other problems with the ring. The prong setting for the marquis cut diamond needed to be replaced and emeralds were chipped and breaking. After discussing the options, I decided I wanted all the problems with the ring fixed including replacing the broken emeralds with a harder gem like sapphires. I am so happy with the results.
