The service was nice, ambiance is a regular NYC deli with some merchandise is the back of the store. The sandwich I got was the Matt & Steve 2.0. It was good, but similar to Cherry Valley/Christinas in Queens. No real difference in taste. Also. Ordering online, through Grubhub is almost 2-3$ more more item, so dont order online.

Large array of sandwiches and paninis using fresh and gourmet ingredients. Portions are decent but overpriced imo - averaging $20 a sandwich. Recommend the anthony & son panini - chicken cutlet isn't dry, a good layer of fresh mozzarella with balsamic glaze and vegetables. Great proportions of ingredients and left you full. The cheesesteak was solid but not super standout.

Pretty good spot , huge sandwich variety , the Fdny was pretty good and I added the onions onto it as well. But &1.50 to add onions really ? That more like a condiment it's not a meat or cheese so that I didn't like .50 cents maybe is ok. Also the side of the bread for hero's is smaller then normal , fresh but smaller for Sure . I'll stick to my other spots plenty to choose from And usually cheaper as well!!! They have a good variety snacks as well . I guess I wouldn't come back here.

Anthony & Son has HUGE sandwiches packed full of quality ingredients, all at a decent price around $20 per hero/panini. I had the Anthony & Daughter, it was great. Fresh burrata, a delicious fig jam, and a nice balsamic glaze to offset the salty prosciutto. Really delicious. It's a deli, not really meant for sit down meals, but there are a few benches outside for when the weather's nice. Definitely a great option for sandwiches in the area!

The sandwiches definitely lived up to the hype!! There are many selections which I appreciated and all of them sounded great!! We ended up splitting an Italian sub and one with a chicken cutlet (sorry I forgot which ones). They were absolutely delicious. The bread tasted so light and fresh but with a great light crunch. There's meat was so fresh and flavorful. The toppings were perfect. There's no inside seating but they have tables and chairs outside. I also like that there was a wide variety of drink and chip choices. The service is standard...not great, but not bad. Overall, recommend!! 8.5/10

Exactly what you want out of a classic nyc sandwich shop- huge menu, delicious warm and cold cuts, and the owner of the shop at the register most days. I have been several times but on this visit I got the butch. Great flavor but I will say I wish I stuck to the godfather. It's what they are known for and it's hard to beat. Quick service and casual, relaxed atmosphere. No seating indoors but limited seating outside if you cannot resist the temptation of tearing into your sandwich right away.

Everything here is really fresh and HUGE. You can definitely split this betweenn 2/3 sittings depending on the sandwich you get. The SKO and Godfather, and anthonys daughter are my favorites, but honestly nothing here will miss. Cool merchandise and large drink selection with a great patio outside to sit and eat. Go on the weekdays during lunch and skip any kind of line

This has been on my fiancés "try" list for a while so we decided to stop in today for lunch. The place is quite spacious for a deli and had ample snacks, cool soda options, a variety of fresh bread, and even some clothing/merch! When we arrived I had to use the bathroom, and asked the woman at the check out counter if they had one, she said they did not (which is as expected for a deli) but kindly recommended I go to a coffee shop nearby. After ordering, and heading to the nearby bathroom, our sandwiches were ready. I ordered the NY Nico lettuce wrap which was SO GOOD and filled with fresh grilled chicken, avocado, pepper jack cheese, crispy onions, and chipotle mayo. It was fresh and delicious. My fiance got the FDNY which is essentially a vodka parm on garlic bread and really enjoyed it, although it could have been warmer. The portions are generous. It was a little pricey (came to $43 for two sandwiches and a small bag of chips) but definitely worth it for a hearty, quick, casual lunch. I'd also like to try their breakfast sandwiches next time. Don't forget to grab a free sticker at the register!

I'm not exaggerating when I say this place serves the best sandwiches in Williamsburg--maybe even in all of Brooklyn! This place has completely redefined what a great sandwich should be. Every bite is an experience. The bread? Perfectly fresh with the ideal balance of crunch and softness. The ingredients? Top-notch, locally sourced, and bursting with flavor. The vibe of the shop is exactly what you want in Williamsburg--cool, laid-back, and welcoming. The staff are super friendly and always happy to make recommendations. They clearly care about what they do, and it shows. If you're in Williamsburg and hungry, run--don't walk--It's a total gem, and I'll be back regularly!

Loved this sandwich!!! So good! Cute little shop in Brooklyn. They have chairs to sit outside and eat. Ate here while visiting NY and I still think about this place I wish I could teleport to it.

When in Brooklyn, check this panini shoppe out! I visited from California and made sure I had a panini! They are known for their regular paninis but also lettuce wraps. I had the Pistachio Papi and it was amazing! It had so much mortadella which is my favorite type of deli meat. I could only eat half cause it had so much meat. The potato salad was delicious as well! I can't wait to go back and try a different panini or a lettuce wrap! I got to meet the owner and he was very friendly as well as the staff. The inside of the deli took me back to my childhood. It had a family-friendly vibe!

Well, when you're looking for the best sandwiches in Brooklyn, if Anthony & Son isn't on that list, toss that list in the garbage. The Panini Shop is a Williamsburg institution. I've been eating sandwiches there since the 90's. Yes, they are pricey, but that's just what sandwiches cost these days. And they make it well worth the price! Huge, flavorful, unique combinations. The service is always great. The shop feels old school and current at the same time. No trip to Williamsburg will be complete until you have a sandwich there!

Half of a Triple Decker Panini

Local favorite but it's expensive for what it is. Sandwich ($20): Triple Decker (pastrami sandwich). It's got a good amount of meat but I wish there were some veggies and more sauce. It's a decent sandwich but not for the price point. Logistics: -local favorite (not sure why) -accepts card

Anthony and Son Panini store - inside. Lots of fun stickers and stuff.

Sandwiches are expensive but that's because they are huge and loaded. Can't go wrong with the chicken vodka parm.

We came here on probably the hottest day in NYC, when it was 101 degrees out, and I'll be honest,…read morethe AC was on, but it was barely doing anything, so we were just sweating as much indoors as we were outdoors. The actual area itself is quite cute, and I like the way the interior was decorated. It has a very minimal vibe, but it really suits the place and the neighborhood. We got an Iced Americano, a Mortadella Scallion Pancake Sandwich, and a cocktail called Lovers Quarrel. The drinks were honestly pretty good and very much needed for the weather. The cocktail had this airy tart taste that perfectly matched the vibe of the drink. The sandwich itself was good, however it was extremely oily. The actual taste of the sandwich reminded me a lot more of Indian Omelets than Scallion Pancakes, but regardless, was still tasty, just wish it had less oil. They typically bring the drinks and food over to your table if you decide to sit at a table, which makes it a lot more convenient. The people working there were also doing an amazing job, so kudos to them. Overall not bad, maybe I might come back when it's cooler for the dessert items.
