Well my "walk in"turned out to be a great experience!!! I was given to Vita (a stylist with many years of experience) and great personal style. Anyway, my mother came with me and showed her some of the ideas from photos and after she looked at my head she was like a Leonardo Da Vinci at work sculpting away at a masterpiece. Talk about a master at work!! I had an extreme makeover and it matched the shape of head/face. Vita is great!!! Thanks and I'll be back for more services. Then... I was turned over to an amazing colorist "Marilyn" and she helped rock my look right out of the ballpark! This place is amazing and I'm happy they are so great at their craft!! It turns out that she got injured, and ended up starting her own business. If you subtract Sabrina and my experiences with her, my experiences with the salon were meh at best. The front desk staff was never really friendly (I got the impression I was bothering them?). It was incredibly frustrating that they didn't take credit cards, and that this wasn't very clear on their website. I went here for Sabrina Tucker. Without her, there wasn't a lot of redeeming aspects of the salon. While waiting for an appointment, I was asked to move so they could take a photo of a different client's hair. It felt weird, and like they should have a designated spot for photos that would require asking waiting clients to move. It honestly made me feel less valuable than the person be photographed (I was asked to move across the room). Also, the more I think about it, the more upset I am that when my partner came in for a men's haircut from Kevin, he left INJURED. That's not OK. I mentioned it to the front desk staff when at my appointment after the last update, and I didn't even get an apology. Not OK. Not OK at all. She charged me the full blonde session (balayage) fee plus $50 toner although I only had the partial balayage and it was okay for me. But to my surprise, when I was paying, she charged me another $90 for the extra products which she said 3 bowls of extra dye because my hair is so thick...what? I went to some hair salons & I was never charged for that plus my hair is not that thick! I was so disappointed of her. She charged me $421 (including my $79 deposit) less the root touch up coz I decided not to have it anymore. I felt like I was taken advantage. Will never go back! ***Response to the owner: You didn't discuss about the extra product that is $90! You only told me when I was about to pay. Yes, I decided not to have the root touch up anymore and was hoping I will pay less but I ended up paying more because of your extra charge. The partial custom blonde session you charged me $202 + $79 deposit = $281. I know toner is included in the price. The extra product you clearly said because my hair is so thick. My gray hair were still visible and to the point that I went to the other salon to have it root touched up coz it looks bad...that was my bad coz I decided not to get it but hoping root smudge will help. Anyway, my main complaint is the $90 extra product which you clearly told me was for the "3 bowls" of products which I understood for the extra color. Over all, I was not satisfied of your service.
