I gave this place 2 stars vs 1 star because the salon has potential to be good once they hire the right staff. The salon is beautiful, has a bar inside and located in a great area. Guy named Lee did my pedicure which took him 1.5 hours because he had absolutely no clue what he was doing. Nails were filed terribly, cuticles not cut correctly, hardly tried to take off any callus until I said something. Then he spent the next 45 minutes taking it off. I get pedicures every 2 weeks my feet are always maintained and never take 1.5 hours. My polish looked like my 5 year old could go a better job. Then the manager came and re polished and re filed and I was happy with the result. If this salon wants to survive in the northshore they need to make sure ALL their staff is properly trained. read more

Went with a girlfriend and had made 2 appointments for manicures. My toes desperately needed some much needed tlc and so I asked if they had time for a pedicure. They gladly accommodated me and I was super grateful. The woman at the front desk asked if I wanted both services at the same time so my gf wouldn't have to wait on me and I said yes that's fine. Well that's the last time I do that, it's very difficult to do a proper manicure while sitting on the pedicure chair. I had 2 ladies working on me. I asked that my cuticles not be cut to which the woman working on my toes obliged and told the other woman who continued to cut my cuticles after pushing them back. So nobody listens to what the customer wants anymore????? In addition to this they cut both me and my girlfriend and never apologized. My girlfriend told me her manicure looked like a child had done it and she might as well have done it at home. Needless to say we won't be back. read more

Best salon I've been to in a long time. You won't regret going here! The space is beautiful. There's a bar you can order drinks from or sit at, several alcoves with pedicure chairs for 8, 6 and 4 (great place to go with girlfriends), terrific color selection that is organized, an ATM (cash only tips) and waterfall in back. First time visiting this salon. I was so impressed. Nice, clean, amenities are top notch. Service is even better. I was met with a great experience start to finish. Hot stone pedicure is remarkable. I gave them two shots to do a dip/powder manicure and both were horrible. Both times I had Yen I believe. My cuticles were cut and bloody both times on several nails. They didn't push the cuticle back, but shaved it down with the power filer (no idea what it's called - sorry) and went too far. Several of my fingers are still sore and god only knows last time that was sanitized. The color dried bumpy and rough, which it does until it's filed down, BUT she didn't do a good job filing it so the finished product is bumpy. Parts of my nails also had to be touched up when I got home as she missed several spots with the top coat. While it's nice this place has a bar - I will never let them do my nails again - not worth the money or the pain. EDIT: Kelly reached out to me (below) and offered me a fix. I went in to see Ben just days after she reached out and he did an amazing job. I love my nails, no pain and he did really well. That is the service i would pay for and will happily pay for in the future. The customer service here is top notch too, which is hard to come by these days so thank you!! read more

By far the best nail salon I have ever been to. They spent so much time on my nails which at most places I feel they are in a rush and don't do a good job. Also most places destroy my thin nails with acrylics but they know how to do it!! I was so surprised at the prices as well. read more

Love this salon! I come here for gel manicure and pedicures. The nail techs are absolutely meticulous and very professional. I am pretty picky about my gel manicures and I can honestly say they have given me the best gel manis I've had since moving to the Chicago area a few years ago. The salon itself is beautifully decorated, extraordinarily clean and relaxing. They have a broad selection of wines and a cute little bar at the front of the salon. Could definitely see how this would be a great place for an event or meet-up with your girlfriends. The mani and pedi will run you $10-15 more than some of the other nail salons in the area but for me it is worth it to get these services in a relaxing, clean environment from true professionals who take pride in their work. read more

I have never seen a nail salon of this size turn customers away but they do and they do often. I've tried to walk in to this salon on 3 or 4 occasions and was told there were no appointments available or that the wait for a service would be 2 or more hours. I once waited for a scheduled eyebrow wax for over 30 minutes. They kept telling me the girl doing this was "almost done" and then it ended up a different girl anyway! I would say save your time and head to rock star nails instead where the answer is always yes no problem! read more

Very upset with my experience here! My appointment started at 4:30 and it started out a great experience with my pedicure but things went downhill quickly. In the beginning, I clearly asked my lady if she could do a no chip manicure with an ombré design and she said "yes of course". I showed her a picture and she said no problem. I was very confident because my pedicure was good and the salon was so clean and put together. We moved over to the manicure table and the manicure she did was good. I requested a new shape to my nail and she did a good job. She got up and started searching for colors for my ombré look. She sat down quite confident in what she we doing and started painting my nails and placing my nails under the UV lights. She got her sponge out and started my design. She said "oh I don't like the color", then cleared it and re-started. She then proceeded to say "I don't like this sponge" and AGAIN re-started. She finally gave up and realizes she didn't know what she was doing and got another person to try. She tried and completely RUINED the design. She wiped it clean and said oh ya, we can't do this design. I looked down at my watch and they had wasted almost an entire hour trying to figure this out and I realized I would be late. I then proceeded to tell them forget it and I want the color off and ended up leaving after 7pm with NO COLOR and a disaster set of nails that look like I peeled off my no chip. They refunded me for the no chip, BUT they should have refunded my entire purchase as they had wasted so much of my time and made me late to dinner. They lied and said they could do something that they clearly could not do. For the price they charge, it is not worth it. There are so many other places in Glenview that are WAY cheaper and just as clean that do an amazing nail job and do not lie about what they can do. read more

I would like to give this beautiful nail salon a higher star but unfortunately this was my first time here and I am not pleased with how my visit went. I went here before my baby shower to pamper myself and get mani/pedi and I also wanted to try the dip polish bc I've seen how it looks on someone and it looked beautiful unfortunately that is not how mine looked. As I was finishing up with my pedi there was a lady who came to start my mani at the pedicure station and had me stretching over my 8 month pregnancy belly to do my right hand which was pinching a nerve in my shoulder which went down to my hand, we eventually went to a nail station where she was trying to smooth out the nail which was very uneven with the electric sander and I kept telling her I didn't like it and it was too thick and uneven, and my nails progressively got shorter as she was smoothing them out. I finally asked her to take them off !! Told her I would come back to get a no chip bc I was there too long and needed to leave . When I went to check out they only charged me for my pedicure, how ever they told me when I come back for the manicure then they would charge me for that service. Which I feel is wrong bc I was there for a long time and was not happy with the results. Now 2 days later my toes have chipped and I went back to have them redone and they would not redo them they would only touch up the chips !! It doesn't take that long to redo polish and I think this is absolutely wrong bc it's going to chip again read more

Both times I brought daughters and sisters, they were able to accommodate us all in a timely manner. And there pedicures were great!
