Easy to schedule because they have a lot of stylists. Nino did a cut, color, full highlights, deep conditioning and blow dry. His work is precise, immaculate and GORGEOUS!! I used to have to go to 3 different people but Nino was able to do everything. The highlights are my top rave. And, I've never seen someone do such incredible work so fast! He didn't rush but he seems so confident in what he was doing that it was easy for him. I found my new stylist and could not be happier. Also, great location in the Glen and plenty of parking. My hair length was around breast length when I came to the salon. I asked my hairstylist if she could take 2 inches off so my hair could be cleaned up but long enough which I can still wear it up and wear it in a clip for work. She even confirmed by asking if I wanted a few pieces to frame my face, while still being able to put it up. I left with a bob! It is over two inches above my shoulders and I am unable to put it up at all. I did not realize how much she cut off since my chair was turned to the side during most of the haircut. I was shocked when she turned me back to the mirror. At that point it was too late to say anything since half my head was already cut into a bob. I am not sure I will be returning. Everyone is very nice. I met John one of the owners & he couldn't have been nicer if he tried. It was my first time at this salon and I selected Ben to color and cut my hair. Received a phenomenal Organic Facial via Maria. The facial was a stimulating skin treatment ...yet her massage was both firm and relaxing. I called them to see if they take walkins, my daughter and I needed a trim. I did not want to go to a place that didn't know what they were doing, so I did not call cheap places, but knew based on reviews they had quality stylists. The owner(I think) answered the phone and let me know how much it would be and that I could get in right away, even informed me of a great discount coupon for first time guests they had on their website. After I arrived and we were placed with our stylist (I had Avi and my daughter had Freddy) I was just so thankful we had come. Avi is a wealth of knowledge, he has done hair for about thirty years and his experienced calm demeanor was so welcome. I appreciated his telling me how to help my daughter's hair growth and things that pertained to my hair loss as well. After the cut they blow dried our hair and let me just tell you, I have never ever had my hair blown out the way Avi did it. It was gorgeous, and I am normally not so confident. My hair looks beautiful! I will always while living in Illinois visit this shop and this stylist! As for Freddy, I can only speak for my daughter I didn't talk to him much but her hair starting off before the cut was very uneven due to a bad stylist and improper coloring in the past, Freddy cut her hair in such a beautiful way that it looks like she never had that problem! It left her feeling so confident and pretty! We are thankful we found Scruples! Definitely go there! We went to the Glenview location! I had requested a time earlier than Ben's start time and they said they could have him come in a bit early, but I ended up changing my availability so he didn't have to; it was nice that they offered that though. I was happy with my cut. I felt that Ben did techniques that I've never seen before. He didn't really well with blending the layers. He did exactly what I'd asked for. My daughter went here because of a Groupon and raved about it so I thought I'd check it out. Faye was my nail technician and she also did my lash lift & tint. I'd never had this service before and wanted to do it since my daughter's worked out so well. I've been very sensitive to mascara recently but I also have skimpy lashes so I wasn't sure how it would work out. I love them! Makes me want to use a serum to plump them up so I get even better results next time! My mani pedi was also outstanding. I have been to many places in Glenview where the people rush through them and Faye did not. The best foot & leg massage too! Can not recommend them more. I would like to give it a high rating but what can I say . That was worst then a dog shampoo. They placed me in the tiniest empty room and used the same old towel over and over again . The products were some unknown tubes . The Fay was nice and tried good but I think she was told to give very basic facial for the Groupon price. Just last week, I brought along three people for a spa day, two of them enjoyed their pedicures. I treated myself to a nail session, and they did a great job. However, my mom opted for a deep tissue massage and was quite disappointed. Unfortunately, I can't recommend their deep tissue massage service. The therapist lacked proper technique and was rather impolite when my mom asked for specific areas to be worked on. read more

My appointment for highlights and cut was with Freddy, definitely my lucky break. Best highlights I've ever had, a gorgeous blending that looks natural except even better. I can't even explain how amazing my experience here was. I had awful box dye on my hair that I had been doing for years and I came in to go back to my natural color. I sat down with ATra and she was absolutely amazing. After explaining what I wanted she showed me before and after photos of another client of hers and I knew I was in good hands. My hair has never looked so good. She was excellent at communicating with me about the type of highlights I wanted, and how I wanted my hair to lay. During the process, she checked in with me about decisions (how much to take off the ends of my hair, etc.) to ensure that I was happy. She is clearly highly skilled, and also, a very nice person.
