    Italian lemonade

I have been here a few times before but it has been a good 2 years since I was last able to visit . Upon entering, the hostess and a male server were fighting about taking a table, it made for quite the awkward entrance. Fortunately, another male server walked over and offered us a table which was super nice. We sat a low top by the bar and admired all of the famous entertainers photos on the wall . We had mojitos and an Italian lemonade , delicious ! For food, we ordered the Stromboli , meatballs and Italian tuna sandwich. All were absolutely to die for ! Our waiter was very pleasant and we were overall very happy with our meal.

We dined in on a cold Sunday night, so it wasn't really busy but that's understandable. Our service was super friendly and quick and was really accommodating with our infant son! We started with the Caprese salad that was really good. I do think that it was overpriced considering it was two slices of tomato and two slices for mozzarella for $10. The pizza was cooked perfect in their coal fired oven. Would definitely go back and try some of the other dishes.

When I tell you the pizza was delicious & the eggplant was so flavorful They will let you do a half & half which is great because you can try 2 of the great combinations in one visit. My new buddy was Shaine because he was so much more than a server! Not only helped with menu selections he was attentive filled our drinks and confirmed to ensure. Top tier service because I don't like when I start with a Diet Coke and have a regular coke returned. He even brought a to go cup with ice for me when he brought the box to take home the rest of the tasty pizza that was perfect the next day in the air fryer. We had half ricotta, hot peppers & sausage and the other half was carnivore - loaded with meat! The restaurant is decorated with such classy pictures mixed with sport pictures and has an entirely cool vibe with an awesome mix of music that lets you hmmm & sway a bit as you enjoy the deliciousness of the food. It is a great place for a date or family dinner. Looking forward to trying the unique style of chicken wings that smelled and are served with sautéed onions! Well done all around

Sports Bar like restaurant. The prices are kinda high for pizza. Additional toppings on a pizza are $3 each with the cheese pizza starting at $14.99 for a 12 inch. For starters we got the wings 5 for $9.99. They came out warm not hot. The garlic knots are more like rolls. Those were good. Also had the "homemade" lemonade very syrup sweet. The thick cut (not really) pepperoni and sausage pizza. It was very oily from the pepperoni grease. It tastes good those especially the sausage nice and crumbly. Daughter had the White pizza and added spinach and prosciutto. Daughter kept asking for extra napkins but never got them.

A good spot to grab some pizza, along with other menu items! Although it is not my favorite spot, it's a go to and is always consistently good! Worth a visit!

My son and I came to Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza after Christmas shopping at Miracle Mile. I liked the atmosphere, they have a nice seating area and a decent size bar. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We started out with some garlic knots, which were ok. We also split a pizza. We did have cheese and half Kalmatta Olives. I really liked the sauce and cheese. The olives gave a nice salty touch. Definitely a pretty good meal!

Pizza comes well done, wings are excellent and the white sangria definitely tasted like apple. Our service was excellent! It's a little on the noisy side.

Instead, this was hands down the fastest large-group dinner I've ever had. Orders moved quickly, food came out hot, and nothing felt chaotic. For a group this size, that level of execution is genuinely impressive. Let's be clear: this is not Texas-style, 18-hour, smoke-ring BBQ--and it's not trying to be. What they do well is consistency and customization. You get six different sauces, and they actually ask whether you want your meat lean and dry or juicy. I went juicy, and my portions were flavorful, tender, and satisfying. I ordered the beef brisket and pulled pork, and also tried the pulled pork sandwich. Solid across the board. They were out of the cream corn (bummer), the mac and cheese was fine and comforting, and the cornbread was excellent--classic, slightly sweet, and the clear standout. This is BBQ built for scale: fast, reliable, and crowd-friendly. If you're feeding a large group and want everyone served quickly, with options and no drama, Mission BBQ absolutely delivers--even if it's not chasing smoke-ring perfection.

First impression was that the color scheme, decorations, and menu all seemed to be dated and uninspired. The staff were polite and attentive. I ordered the salad and Salmon Oscar. The salad was good and the blue cheese dressing I chose was house-made. It was good. My girlfriend got the wedge salad which I think was a bit expensive since it was a $6 up charge for a wedge of iceberg lettuce from the standard salad that came with the entrees. My Salmon Oscar with asparagus was very good. I enjoyed every bite of the salmon and crab. My daughter's chicken parm came with a ton of linguini. My girlfriend got the signature crab cakes which she said were mostly crab and not filler. So while I thought the menu was dated when reading it the food was well executed.

My wedding soup and my husband's French onion soup were delicious. The wedding soup was loaded with meatballs and chicken. My husband has a thing for French onion soup and tries it every chance he gets. He said this may have been the best ever. We split a Reuben sandwich and upgraded to onion rings. The waitress brought us each a half portion so we didn't have to divide it ourselves, which was nice. There was plenty of meat on the sandwich, making it acceptable, not great but good enough. Onion rings were very good. Dessert sounded tempting, a cherry crème brûlée. It was okay, kind of like cherry jello with a sugar crust on top. A bit disappointing to say the least. Our waitress was on top of filling the water glasses and was very nice. Now for the bad news and why I'm only giving 3 stars. I went to the ladies room before eating and there was no hot water to wash my hands. I asked my husband if the men's room had hot water and he said no. We both let it run but it never got hot, not even warm. Then I noticed (after drinking several glasses of water unfortunately) that there was a crack in my water glass. I mentioned it to my husband and he said, "you should see the chips in the glass tabletop over her on my side". I get it that wear and tear happens, but these things should be caught before serving guests. And as far as the hot water...how do servers and kitchen workers properly clean their hands after using the toilet without hot water? So the food is fairly solid and reasonably priced. But be on the lookout for chipped glassware and table tops. And use your own hand sanitizer if you have it!

Daily special- pan seared mahi mahi with asparagus fennel kohlabi and arugula salad citrus buerre Blanc. Light citrus flavor is found thru the mahi mahi, its sauce and the salad. Very congruent. Asparagus was a neutral addition. Not flowing with or against the mahi. Fish was cooked well. Just lots of raw red onion on the salad was a little overpowering. 7/10 Red wine braised short rib- didn't ask how well done, so seems chefs choice. We have a preference towards med rare. This was cooked well done making it a tad tough-stringy. Mashed potatoes with some larger pieces of potato, but very neutral plain flavor, great with the beef sauce. Carrots cooked well, just neutral, natural flavor. Overall a very classic flavor combo that works.7/10. Would stop by again to try more dishes. Ps- when paying we noticed final bill to sign was more than first bill at table. When we asked why the difference we were told it's the credit card fee of $3. This was really the first time I've seen this at a restaurant, yet alone at a decent place like one. Would have been best for them to tell us this upfront.

The pizza slices have big bubbling crusts with pepperoni so rustic cut that you will wonder if they accidentally gave you the whole piece... over and over again. Don't sleep on their meatball pizza. Because you will have basically full size meatballs for every slice... and they are delightful. We had family in and bought a large order - and we opted to try their sandwiches. The Chuck Roast sandwich and Turkey Rachel both sounded delicious... and Gateway Grill does have fresh smoked meats too! Takeout is a trip. In a full restaurant, you have to kinda stand in the way at the front counter and flag down someone to grab your order. But they definitely do a lot of to-go pizzas so you'll be able to handle it. Unfortunately, with their current to-go containers, the sandwiches ended up being sopping wet with condensation... the bottom toasted bread on both was basically dripping instead of crunchy. The fries had lost all texture too- air fryer to the rescue. I'd still recommend going - just stick to only pizza when ordering takeout until they find a way to ensure quality of other options.

Today, I got the cheese calzone, fried dough, and cannolis. They were all delicious. Their calzones are only around $10 for a plain cheese. And, the portion is quite big too. It's not too doughy and their dough is flavorful and delicious. It looks like they top their calzones with a good bit of butter. It may look a bit soggy on the bottom, but the flavor is still excellent. Their sauce is lightly sweet and goes perfectly with the cheese. It's packed well and is the perfect amount of cheese for a calzone. Would have liked a bit more ricotta specifically and maybe a side dipping sauce, but still amazing! The desserts are pretty good too. Some of them are (as expected) not made in house, but others like the cinnamon rolls and fried dough are. When I ordered, I initially switched one of my desserts for the other. But, they just gave me the other dessert for free! Very considerate. The cannolis, although partially premade, were still quite tasty. Good amount of filling, great texture, adequate amount of chocolate chips inside, crispy outside, and nice chocolate cover. Their fried dough is also tasty and similar to a funnel cake. Would have maybe liked a sweet sauce (like caramel or chocolate) with the fried dough, but I had some leftover caramel to use so no issues there. All in all, a very good stop for pizza in Monroeville. It seems extremely underrated, and I was the only person to be in the store at the time (and my order was the only one for pick up at that time, which was Labor Day weekend).
