    Great setup.

According to my calculations, I have driven past this place each day, to and from work, a total of 2,600 x 2 up until today. After 5,200 times, there will be no more excuses as to why another stop will not occur. Reason being, this experience was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! It's as if I discovered a secret club that isn't secret at all! They truly have a great following based on the intensity of their diners and activities all around us. The menu is extensive and features all of your Italian favorites. We enjoyed everything we ordered, and especially loved catching them during Happy Hour specials. Nice assortment and very filling. We look forward to our return visit, whether it be patio dining or the very inviting cigar bar.

This was my first time here and it won't be my last. I felt the sauce was extremely fresh and you could see that it was made from scratch with fresh tomato's. The service was great and attentive and I loved everything we ordered. Will be back!

Food... out of this world! Atmosphere? Might need to pinch me! Am I in the old country? Gorgeous design and class all the way. Classy joint but won't shame you for a clean t shirt to come eat here. Service is great! Take out service leaves some room for improvement a few times now I've had a hard time finding someone who wants to talk to me let alone ask if I have a pickup order and then they are MIA for a while leaving you standing and waiting but probably just due to them being busy so don't let that scare you away. I highly recommend going for a drive and ending up here on purpose to eat and boy you better MANGIA MANGIA!!!!

I came here today bummed out that Ginny's was closed but still craving pizza. I got the prosciutto cotto funghi pizza- with prosciutto substituted instead of ham. OH MY GOD IT WAS LIKE A SYMPHONY IN MY MOUTH! The tomato sauce tasted so incredibly flavorful and fresh. I told my server and she said that's the way it's supposed to be. Lol. The crust was airy, light and also crispy. The mozzarella was amazing. And the basil, prosciutto, mushroom combo? Incredible. I am sure Italians who are used to this being the standard for pizza think our standard pizza is cardboard. I will definitely return!

Who knows what size spinach stuffed shells I never got to eat.

Not great. We eat here often as a family, or just my husband and I. Friday we don't have a good experience. As a creature of habit I tend to always order the same thing. The spinach stuffed shell diner with no meatballs. My husband and daughter order differently each time. We did order a good bit, we had both alcoholic drinks, and nonalcoholic drinks, an appetizer, side salads, my husband ordered a small pizza and a hoagie, my daughter ordered pasta, I ordered my usual. Well we're severed our drinks and bread to start and there were a ton of fruit flys in the dining area. Enough of them, that they landed on the bread on our table. Gross, but we just didn't eat it. We got our apps and side salads. Soon after the runners brought my husband and daughter their food. Mine didn't follow, we didn't see our waitress around. 15 minutes of them eating went by before our waitress appeared and asked "You didn't get yours?", I politely said "no". She the. Went to another table to take their order before going back to the kitchen. 7 more minutes went by before she brought me a plate of only three shells. I don't bother to say anything, they clearly didn't care. I never was apologized to, and this wasn't what I ordered. I ordered a diner, and without meatballs you're supposed to get extra shells. Yet somehow I got three. Within a couple of minutes of the food coming, we were asked if we wanted dessert or the check. So I never got to eat. I got one bite and boxed up our leftovers, left our 27% tip and left. This experience ruined this place for us. The fruit flys were not ok, the service was clearly not good, and I never got to eat my food. We had an expensive order, we tip well, we come often, were dressed nicely ad we just left work. We used to visit the Penn Hills location (for more than 20 years we have been customers). There was no reason to treat us this way. It showed me they don't care. When you don't care, and it shows it's time to find a new place to patronize.

I've been able to make two or three meals out of one entree here. Overall, service is pretty good but can be hit or miss. There was one day that I think they must have been having an off night because everyone seemed crazy stressed and very short with us when questions were asked. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the side salad was. It was a great balance/mix of ingredients with delicious dressing. My main entree (Strozzapretti) was tasty but a bit seemed like there was a bit too much grease/oil or something that made the dish seem heavier than it needed to be. In general, a tasty place but could improve if service was more consistent.

I got to try the Sfogliatelle, vodka pasta, salad, and bread. I just live when places like this give bread, and high quality bread at that. Super soft and high quality. Add ons like that do really elevate the experience. And a solid side salad as well, with plenty of cheese but not very varied vegetable wise. The pasta itself was amazing. Very generous portion. A good amount of sauce, although not super evenly distributed. Perfect pasta and a really good, balanced vodka sauce. Really enjoyed this. The Sfogliatelle, it was my first time trying anything like this. It wasn't super sweet or all that flavorful at all, and was somewhat small. A bit lemony. Not sure if I'd have it again, but I loved the little crunchy sides and it was still pretty good. Overall, definitely a hidden gem in Murrysville. Loved the spot.

Got a Pinot noir wine and waters Starter=soup of the day: tomato w/ chickpea and chorizo- bold tomato flavor and lots of arugula in it. Daily special- pan seared mahi mahi with asparagus fennel kohlabi and arugula salad citrus buerre Blanc. Light citrus flavor is found thru the mahi mahi, its sauce and the salad. Very congruent. Asparagus was a neutral addition. Not flowing with or against the mahi. Fish was cooked well. Just lots of raw red onion on the salad was a little overpowering. 7/10 Red wine braised short rib- didn't ask how well done, so seems chefs choice. We have a preference towards med rare. This was cooked well done making it a tad tough-stringy. Mashed potatoes with some larger pieces of potato, but very neutral plain flavor, great with the beef sauce. Carrots cooked well, just neutral, natural flavor. Overall a very classic flavor combo that works.7/10. Would stop by again to try more dishes.
