The carpet became very mat and very aged. I've now had to put runners to cover places.

The only reason this isn't 5 stars is due to the tardiness of the gentleman who did the job. We had to follow up with the owner when no one came during the window we had someone at the house. Once he arrived, it got done though, and he even came back out to follow up on the job.
