I am born and raised on the east coast 15 minites outside of Manhattan and i have to say this is the only place I have been that has true NYC pizza here. the food is incredible the service is great and the owner is always cordial. If you havent tried this place you are missing out and if you have I know you have been back multiple times. call in advance and order a grandma or a sicilian and you will not be disappointed. I will bet my east coast card if you love NY pizza and or grew up on it one bite will bring you right back to mid-town manhattan, brooklyn or queens. I finally found the pizza I have been hoping to find - Anthony's Pizza in Hutto. Their crust is thin, their sauce and cheese are delicious and you can buy pizza by the slice -which I really like. We just moved here and were excited to try this joint out. I've noticed the negative reviews are because of the inconsistent store hours. I don't think many people know that Cesar runs this business all on his own and can't find reliable help since COVID hit. His pizza is superb; the crust is unmatched. Been here twice now and was told they are sold out. Girl at the register was extremely rude about it both times as well. No way to run a business, I recommend driving the 10 minutes to Taylor to New York Pizza. Nice people, great service, and awesome pizza. I picked up two pepperoni slices on a whim after visiting the UPS Store nearby. So glad I did! The slices were huge and fresh out of the oven. The pepperoni they use is the kind that turns into grease cups while cooking, which is the best kind. We had a couple pizzas from here a few nights ago. A meat lovers basically and a cheese. I didn't have high hopes because it just came in a blank box but the slices are big and the overall pizza was huge! And the taste was definitely better than the chains imo! 7/26/19 Hutto has the privilege of getting a great NY NJ pizza place. Pepperonis are tiny so you are sure to get some with each bite. The crust is perfect - not thin/crispy and not too thick. Tried a single slice there and waited for a pie to take home for dinner. Learned a lot from a recent transplant from NJ as we both waited. Proud & local supporter - we may not like that Whataburger got bought by an out-of-state company. But am glad this out-of-state joint came here! I am a huge fan of New York style pizza and this is very close. They now have a phone number so that you can order ahead. The pizza was very good. It wasn't the pizza that I ordered but I took it anyway and was not disappointed. The Italian sausage is delicious and I usually don't get sausage because of the heat. My tongue can't handle hot. But this was so good. No complaints. It was very busy at lunch. And they are closed on Monday :( read more

Wow! What can I say other than that- this place was amazing! Although the small, they are the only pizzeria that can offer customers a place to sit down and dine-in. Their menu is simple and their prices are very reasonable ($18 for an 18" XLG Pie with $1/toppings- a steal)! I should have taken a photo of their hours and menu but did not. I do recall they have an XLG Pie, Sicilian Square, Grandma's?, and Specialty Pies, along with a few different drink/slice combos. Compared to the other chains, there is no comparison in taste or quality. Even though there were 9-XLG Pie orders ahead of me and the wait time was over an hour, I purchased an XLG myself to see what the hype was all about and so glad I did. They politely told me in advance of the long wait ahead, and I reciprocated saying that I'd order now and come back for pick up, to which I did. When I arrived for pick up, they kindly acknowledged me again and thanked me for the visit. They know how to treat customers and I can honestly say that I think they'll become lifers here in Hutto- fostering community & customer service at their business. The taste was amazing, and I loved the chewiness of the crust. I think what I loved most about this place was the authentic culture and that the staff 'put love into their work' - watching them do everything by hand. I'm thankful for the authentic pizza and staff this business has in operation. I didn't catch any names but it seemed like a family-owned business with dad doing pizza prep, son serving/boxing/cooking/assisting with prep, and daughter as the cashier. They were all super friendly and very accommodating (against my original perceptions about New Yorkers). To be completely honest, I'm really hungry now and can't think of anything else to eat beside Anthony's Pizza. Cheese is a staple in our household and I don't want to eat anything with it for fear that it won't taste the same. How silly. I'm not really that big a fan of pizza (especially since we only had local chains here) but Anthony's Pizza got me turned around- giving me a taste of style from New York. I'm super glad that they chose Hutto because I will be returning every Friday for our traditional family movie & pizza nights. read more

Best pizza in the area! The quality, price and taste is amazing! Being from the New York area, good pizza is usually hard to find, but they nail it. I tried a generic pepperoni and a special chicken bacon ranch with jalapeño...wow! The chicken bacon ranch was ridiculously flavorful and the pepperoni was delicious. The crust had a nice crispy taste and the dough was perfect. Overall this is absolutely our favorite local pizza shop!! read more
