I spent close to $36.00 on nachos and manicotti for lunch today. I don't mind spending the money if the food is good, but my nachos were cold. I've been ordering from Anthony's for almost 15 years from time to time. The last 2 years or so the quality just started to degrade. Ever since they moved to their new location with Tudors next to the Schools the wait times are just crazy. An hour when I was told 20-25 minutes. Time is valuable to everyone, if you're too busy and/or don't have enough workers just be honest about it. I value time and honesty over anything, just be realistic with times so that people aren't wasting their time. I'll likely just skip ordering from here for a year or so and see if things go back to normal. In my opinion you're far better off ordering from Cider Press. The food quality is far better, but at a slightly higher price. Wait times are exact for them. read more

After YEARS of not caring for any Anthony's pizza...we got a gift certificate to be used at this one. Less than excited we went in ( free pizza is free pizza). In less than 20 minutes our minds were changed (and blown). WOW! Amazing service, and one of the best pizzas we've had locally! Great crust, toppings, and taste! Beautiful, clean store too! I haven't been here in a while so I thought I'd give it another try...the chicken cheesesteak was a little dry and had no seasoning. The pepperoni pizza was good and worth getting again. The ham and cheese sub literally had one slice of ham on it. I've had better sandwiches from a gas station. Would not go back to this location except for the pizza. read more

We've been ordering from them for a lot of years and their service has always been excellent. We order the subs and they are always great. They don't skimp on the meat/lettuce etc. Their calzones/stromboli are the same they don't skimp on the ingredients and that goes for the chef's salad they are all very good and filling. I always like their subs. The pizza is ok! I mean there are times the pizza is really good but there are times it's really oily!

I went there 4 times, every time the pizza they sold us looked like it was smashed on one side, the pizzas would always stick to the roof of the pizza box. wouldn't be surprised if they are doing it on purpose. We eat here quite often because it is one of the only places that delivers to our house. Their pizza is always good. I am a plain cheese kinda person and they always get it right. I have ate some of their pasta dishes here and they aren't awful but they aren't amazing either! The pasta comes with bread & a salad. I really wish they would toast the bread with some garlic butter instead of just a plain hoagie bun. My husband eats their wings and enjoys them. I would rate this place a 5 just based on their pizza and nothing else. The delivery time has always been very quick and everyone seems nice and polite. This location has a reasonable dining area for a pizza counter "restaurant" and it also has a separate lounge area adjacent if you want alcohol. The food is the same as all the Anthony's Pizzas from Martinsburg to Front Royal. Very dependable. The best thing on the menu is the chicken parmesan and salad because you get two huge chicken breasts, only one with CP and Spaghetti. The Monday-Tuesday carry out pizza specials can't be beat. This pizza comes close to my fav' Ledo Pizza. Since Martinsburg and Inwood are dominated by "chains", I like family owned and operated places whenever possible. read more

Avoid Athony's Pizza in Inwood for several reasons, rude people that answer the phone to take your order to answer other incoming calls and leave you hanging for several minutes, call receivers that say they are having trouble hearing you, hang up on you, call you names because they believe you cant hear them. Food is mediocre, slimy meats on cold cuts, wilted lettuce, dry tomatoes, under cooked pizza that's watery. Not sure why I have to ask to have a pizza baked twice to achieve a crispy crust and a fully finished product...what gives ???? Don't ask for delivery for it will / could add hours to you from them thus making the experience worse than it is. read more

Ordered tonight 2 cheesesteak subs. I assume they cook them together if they have similar ingredients, which I have worked in a pizza restaurant before and I am familiar with the cooking process. Well, no one taught this cook how to divvy up the meat 50/50 after it was cooked. My sub had hardly any meat, fried onions, mushrooms, while my hubby had the best sub ever. I recently moved to the Inwood area and decided to give their delivery service and food a try. First problem: I ordered a large special pizza and asked for Parmesan cheese packets. I was asked how many. Thinking large pizza, said ten. Was put on hold. Girl came back on phone and said we only give 1 or 2 free! (For a large pizza how crazy is that?) Then she told me it would be .50 cents each packet after that! That is BS! Problem #two: pizza arrived and it was awful! Tomato sauce on only two slices! The other pieces were dry! Everything else in this town is a complete wreck. Lets just call me a wings connoisseur or what I like to refer to myself as, a wings advocate. The 911 sauce wings are personally not hot enough but that is expected (I am one of those and irrational to have other expectations). They seem like they are baked rather than fried which is unique. Overall the quality and price are much better than anything else available. It isn't that disgusting orange sauce either which usually leads to me raging and never going back to whatever ghetto place served them to me. The chicken itself is actually good quality (unlike most of the time you would purchase wings), never under or over cooked and the wings sauce is very consistent. I love Anthony's pizza, I also love their hottest chicken wing sauce, but I stoped ordering chicken wings bc they keep getting smaller & smaller each time I ordered. I understand that wings come in different sizes & no two are a like but if you are going to give a small chicken wing with very little chicken to it, at least add two dinky wings as one.
