Outstanding service! A fun environment with live music and personable staff. This brewery was clean, roomy, and has an extensive menu of both food and beverages. Excited to visit with warmer weather around the corner. Can't wait to try the pickle pizza!

Another great visit to the brewery! We love stopping in after biking on the C&O. Great beer selection, ciders, wine and liquor. Delicious snacks like hummus, pizza and sandwiches. Lots of seating inside and out. High tops and low tops. Several big screen tvs. Live music Ample parking. Coolers with Beer to go too. My rating rationale for beer, wine, or spirits: +1 Service +1 Atmosphere/Vibe +1 Taste/Quality (Flavor, aroma, and overall quality of the beverage) +1 Presentation (Glassware, garnishes, and visual appeal of the drinks) +1 Selection/Variety (Range of beer, wine, or spirit options and uniqueness of offerings)

How to order was a little confusing for our first time. But once we figured it out, the staff is super friendly and helpful with picking out beers. You sit where and order at the bar. The food came out quickly along with the beers. My only complaint was there was no chicken wings.

This place is..... BEAUTIFUL! Food was amazing, drinks cold and refreshing, the crowd and staff Is friendly, the yard? My god those views were amazing! Pictures don't do any justice! They have events daily going on here for a fun change of pace. HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking this place out and just simply enjoying the atmosphere! Plenty of seats inside and outside.

Nice local spot with a limited, but tasty food menu. Think creative wood-fired pizzas and appetizers, as well as seasonal specials. Brews are delicious with lots to choose from, seemingly something for everyone. Even if you're not a drinker, no problem - they have plenty else to choose from including sodas, house-made kombuchas and mocktails. We are personally big fans of their sours. The highlight is the wonderful, very large outdoor space which includes a covered pavilion. Perfect for relaxing on nice days and evenings. They'll even bring out the heaters and start up the fire pits once a chill gets in the air. Also note that this brewery is extremely dog-friendly! Your well-behaved pups are welcome to hang indoor or out so don't forget your furry friends.

So glad we decided to give Potomac Ridge a shot for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. They had live music outside under the pavilion, but after spending the entire morning and early afternoon in the sun, we opted to dine inside. The indoor space is wide open, there is a ton of seating, and the food and beverage menus are expansive. Of course we went with the special pizza for the day: a hot honey with chicken and bacon. We also ordered an app of the herb bread and dipping oil. Both were phenomenal. The dough is so fresh and has a nice chew. The bottom of the pizza crust is thin and does get a little soggy with the sauce and all of the toppings, just as a warning. The staff worked quickly to clear any lines that formed and both the beers and food came out within minutes. They have several TVs playing sports and one was showing trivia questions. We saw some children there with parents. So, it's family friendly.

Great location near Shepherdstown and the C&O Canal towpath, friendly service, really good beer! I enjoyed the vanilla porter and the brown ale, and especially loved the Dolly Sods Caramel Apple Sour. The brewery has a good menu with pizzas, salads and some apps, and a lot of non-beer drink options like the seasonal Santa's Whiskers. The noise level was reasonable for an indoor crowd on a cold winter night, and the large outdoor space looks excellent for a long summer evening. It's a little expensive as breweries go, especially this far out from Washington, D.C.

Great atmosphere, food and drinks. Marvelous cocktails and an incredible variety of beer. Spacious and welcoming with plenty of parking. Additionally, a large heating enclosed outdoor pavilion that is open air in warm weather. One visit and it'll be a favored spot to wet your whistle.

Love the vibe of this place! Sitting outdoors with a glass of cider/beer around a fire with live music was refreshing in the fall weather. Highly recommend their IPA! The staff were kind and attentive.

Well worth the wait! We visited Potomac Ridge Brewing yesterday and had an amazing time. The taproom is welcoming and we were very impressed with the design of the space. All of the staff are extremely friendly, too! Onto the beer and food! We tried three different beers, all that tasted great. My favorite was the PRB Lager, which I can only imagine how refreshing will be after spending a day out on the river or on the C&O Canal Towpath. My girlfriend ordered the espresso martini, which she also enjoyed! It's exciting how many cocktail options they have in addition to a full lineup of beers, as well as a mocktail menu for the non-drinkers. Lastly, the food was terrific! We ordered two different pizzas, and both came out warm and tasty. We can't wait to return in the future.

I've been to Brunswick several times in my life and I've always loved the town so I was excited to see someone put a brewery in since the last time I had been there. We stopped in on an early Saturday evening and it was pretty busy because they had live music which was good. We walked right up to the counter and I ordered: - ROYGBIV Power Sour 5/5 - Bar Room Hero Hazy IPA 5/5 We then proceeded to grab a table outside and enjoy our beers while listening to the music and watching all the people enjoy themselves too while we laughed and had good conversation. We hadn't ate much all day so we decided to get something light to eat. My girlfriend walked up to the counter and ordered us a hot dog and Brie with Jam and Pita. The hot dog was decent but the Brie and chips were disgusting to say the least. The price for the Brie was even more disgusting than it tasted for a very small wheel of store bought stale tasting cheese and even staler chips, yikes! I love the building, its history, the whole layout, and vibes of this brewery, but I'd never order food from here again. EVER! Will I come back to have more beers the next time I am in the area, probably but I won't go out of my way, that's for sure.

Fast forward to now and things are much better running. Beer wise there are options for everyone. I'm a big fan of the following: 1. Gandy Oatmeal Stout 6.1% ABV. Strong but not overpowering coffee and chocolate aromas and flavors. This is smooth and super tasty. 2. "Midnight Slug" Extra Special Bitter 5.8% ABV. An old school style not found much anymore. Nice malty flavor up front and bitter on the finish. 3. Maryland Rye Maryland Rye IPA 6.7% ABV. Spicy black pepper notes from the rye make this IPA special. Vibe: blue collar town bar like. They have food that looked and smelled good but we just had lunch and focused on the beer only. Service was great.

We hoped to sit outside, but the only available table had broken glass all over it from a busted door. It does have convenient parking and I liked the industrial decor. Always a big plus for me, even if the outdoor area is really just tables set up on the sidewalk overlooking the parking lot - as it is in this case. The service was fine. It wasn't crazy busy there but the bartender had a little edge to her like we were more on an annoyance than a patron. They have a refill club where you can buy a mug and get your name printed on it with discounted refills. Again I appreciate that kind of thing, but the bartender seemed way more interested in some of the regulars than us. Just the vibe she gave off that night I guess. And lastly the beer...it's solid. Not great, but solid. Lots of darker beers which is fine for me personally, but the darks outnumbered the IPAs, pilsners, etc the night we were there. I'd expect a little more variety. Still, it's good enough that I'd go back next time I'm in Cumberland, but not so good that I'd make a special trip out of my way. When me and my girlfriend take road trips or mini vacations we try to hit up every brewery in that area and/or surrounding areas. On a recent birthday trip to Rocky Gap Resort that my sweet and beautiful girlfriend arranged for us we stopped in here during the early evening last week. As we pulled up I liked the whole aesthetics of this place. So we walked in and the place was pretty busy for an early Sunday evening but I believe it was because of the musicians that were scheduled to play. I noticed a lot of cool metal art which I later found out the owner created. That's awesome! We immediately walked up to the bar and ordered a couple of beers. - Shanty Irish Red Ale for my gf 4/5 - Iron Bird Hazy IPA for me 5/5 As we were enjoying our beers the people next to us received a food order and I looked at my girlfriend and said that pizza looks good. She replied, You want me to get us one? I giggled because she is a foodie like me lol. So we looked over the menu and decided on a 10" cheese pizza with mushrooms & jalapeños and a small order of chicken bites with honey mustard. So after about 10 minutes our buzzer went off and my gf walked up to get our food. We really enjoyed every bit of the pizza and chicken bites. Thank you! - Pizza 4/5 - Chicken Bites 4/5 While we were eating our food there were two people who started playing music and this is why this place gets 4 not 5 stars. Not because the musicians weren't good but because a place this size should never have people playing music so loud that you can't even have a normal conversation without saying huh or yelling. One of the two owners came over and asked if I'd like another beer and I could barely hear her and then the other owner came over and introduced himself to us and talked to us for about 5 minutes or so about the brewery, business, art, etc. and we could barely hear him and some things he said we couldn't make out, which sucks because I would have loved to chat with him without a loud distraction. Seemed like a very interesting and knowledgeable man. Next time my guy. Listen, I'm a huge brewery person and this brewery has great vibes and everything you could want to enjoy while visiting one but having musicians with amps blasting inside no longer makes it what makes breweries great and then turns into a bar. The whole reason of going to a brewery is to enjoy good beer, good food, and good conversation and that's impossible with music blasting. You can either be a bar or a brewery but you can't be both. Light music or acoustic would be much better in my opinion and my opinion should matter because I've been to hundreds of breweries across the United States. Either way the beer was good and the food was too. We will be back soon. Thanks for creating a nice and welcoming space. Sláinte

We all shared a fried pickle app. Fried pickles were standard with a house made dill type dip. Dip was good but portion could be a bit larger. Poutine was ok. I'm not a fan of cornstarch dusted fries-so there's that. The short rib was tender and plentiful. Oddly, though the short rib and the gravy didn't have a very beefy flavor. So the poutine was sadly underwhelming in my point of view. The portion is large enough to definitely share. My daughter's chicken thigh sandwich was good. She thought it was flavorful the sauce on. It was nothing to write home about. The house made chips were OK. My mom's cheeseburger looks really good. It was cooked just as she ordered. She said it was very tasty. It came with like a barbecue sauce on it, but she said overall was very good. They have a rather large drink menu with products from their distillery. The prices were not crazy.
