    Total wreck.

Been going to the woodfire for about 17 yrs now. I never thought I'd say this but I'm done. Ordered a margarita tonight. The pizza looks like it was tossed into the box from across the kitchen. Did the cook grab a handful of basil and just drop it on the center of the pizza without even attempting to evenly distribute it? Appears so. I've had more uniform pizzas from little Caesars. Paying $20 for a dinner plate size pizza out of a sit down restaurant I'd appreciate the cook taking some pride in his craft.

    Tomato basil, minus the basil...

Son's 9th bday, he wanted fish and chips. So we decided to try Anthony's Woodfire instead of their regular restaurant. If there's one thing they do right, it's fish and chips! Problem is, even with the best fish and chips in town I always get distracted by their fancy dishes and get those instead, only to be disappointed I didn't order fish and chips. Not this time! I got distracted instead by fancy fish and chips instead! Err fish and rice pilaf! Wife got a pizza, daughter Hoovered a kids pasta in record time. My son who wanted fish and chips instead ordered grilled steelhead.. kids. Food all in all was fantastic. I got the price fixe meal. Ordered a side salad that was really a full salad in disguise and a meh tomato basil soup. My fancy panko breaded pan fried cod was perfect! Would have liked fries more than the rice pilaf... I can't get over sweet tasting rice, sorry! I hate trout, always tastes muddy, but my son's steelhead also tasted great. Wife ordered fancy pizza which she liked. Price was good for what we got and the economy being what it is. Ambiance was great for families. Our young waitress provided excellent service and had normal colored hair. Gawd I'm getting old when hair color factors in... good job Anthony's!

Valentines dinner at Anthony Woodfire grill last night!! Great first time experience! Restaurant was clean, people were so very nice throughout our entire time! We had a great view of the boats/water/night atmosphere of the marina!! Our waitress I unfortunately didn't get her name she was absolutely wonderful! Answered all our questions even went back to the chief to ask to see how something was prepared! They service you bread and delicious garlic butter! We started with a side Caesar salad. Moved into the Valentine's dinner menu they had. My BF order the Steak Oscar (unfortunately I didn't obtain a picture as he had already started in prior to me snapping) and I ordered the Steak and lobster ! Both meals were delicious and served with garlic mashed potatoes which were very flavorful and my dish came with the greenish broccoli I had ever seen!! Thank you for a delicious meal and a great first time experience!!

Even when parking is huge, we battled to get a spot near. I was very glad to notice there was parking security doing rounds. Anthony's was crowded and didn't receive walk ins. So we decided to go to their second best option which was yards away. We noticed this location wasn't that upscale as the first one. This one got more kids. They sat us on this part. It was pretty noisy. We couldn't even hear our server. View was beautiful too :) Food wasn't that good or interesting. I had the jambalaya, and my party salmon and pasta. We also had some fried seafood. Server was slow but tried to keep a good vibe. I don't know if it's worth the price, but it is for the view. Staff was very helpful letting us know that we could use the ramp on the back :) Use tables outside on sunny days :)

    Michelle, you ROCK!

Our server, Michelle, was an absolute delight, very responsive, conversational, the epitome of excellent customer service. Really, the 1 star ding is because although the bread was wonderful, freshly baked and warm, it was disappointing that the butter was rock hard. Photos of our meals and Michelle attached.

The food was delicious, the service mostly friendly but a bit slow, and the ambiance is upscale casual. The hostess sat us and asked if we were there for a special occasion and we said a birthday, but she was basically walking away before we could finish the word. They have a few vegetarian options, and a full bar available, but the majority of my party prefers the alternative Anthony's location across the way.

This is a great place to eat if you are in Everett or working on the Everett Navy Base. Ambiance: Very convenient and close to the base. There is plenty of free parking and the views of the bay are beautiful. The bar area is warm and cozy, with a nice fireplace to warm up. Service: Excellent service from our waitress. She took our orders quickly and accommodated our request to have a short lunch since we needed to return to the navy base in about 1 hour. Food: The menu is simple, but has a good variety of seafood and sandwiches. My fish and chips were delicious, panko crusted. My friend's burger was average at best. We came here for lunch and it was a very good experience. If I am back in back area, I will order the rotisserie chicken for dinner. Looks tasty!

Parking is quite challenging. I entered the restaurant and was confused because there's a big sign outside that says "fisherman jacks" but it bridges two building and there's like an odd walkway and the only real entrance was this Chinese restaurant with Chinese characters on the door. You walk in and nothing says fisherman jacks. The signs, the menus, the host area. Anyways it is the place. The resultant is really nice looking and it's right on the water and it was like a nice hot day with baby blue sky and the restaurant fully opens up so we're indoor but it's kinda like outdoor patio seating. So I was really impressed at how nice this restaurant was. I used the bathroom and it was kinda sub par with only 2 stalls and 1 sink but whatever it worked. I ordered an espresso martini and a water since I had arrived last and wasn't sure who's water was who's. They never brought me a water. The martini was really good. We order family style and my uncle orders us a feast with like 6 appetizers and like 10 entrees. But the food was totally lack luster. It was at the bare minimum level of acceptable. Every item was like this. I was totally shocked. I couldn't help but be totally disappointed and I was trying to remind myself to be grateful because I'm at a family event and it's a beautiful day and I have a meal that is being provided for me and I made the best of it. But seriously I cannot stress this enough; The flavor was slightly worse and more dull than Panda Express and the quality of the food was on par with Panda Express. I know my uncle paid an insane price for this dinner and I appreciate it and had fun but I can't quite shake the feeling that this place charges top tier pricing for Panda Express level of food. I don't recommend it and I won't be coming back.

Service was a bit slow initially but they gifted us 2 desserts for the graduates. Rye squeakeasy was very strong but to my personal preference. I imagine too strong for the majority of folks. The cioppino was good and price wise maybe a better value than the rest of the menu. Came with lots of seafood. Apparently there is no point in making a reservation. We had to wait for a table despite having made a reservation, which brings this restaurant down to the level of fast food or greasy-spoon diner - very disappointing. I see this as a huge failure of management. If someone arrives on time for their reservation, they should be seated immediately, no excuses. Failing this shows a complete disregard for and disrespect of the customer. It is a reservation, not a general comment that we might arrive. Kudos to the chef(s) for very good food and to the busser who seemed to grasp customer service better than others. There is room for improvement on table / reservation management, to put it mildly.

Our dining experience began with cold appetizers, including a mixed black fungus dish with a satisfying crunch and tangy vinegar flavor, alongside pickled lotus root vegetables with a garlicky and subtly spicy taste. For our main courses, we opted for the Deep Fried Fish Szechuan Style, which was filled with cod fish, had a lighter batter coating, and a pleasing crunch, but beware of its savory and fiery flavor, which intensifies after several bites. We also selected the Szechuan Hometown Tofu, which offered our taste buds a savory flavor, enhanced by chili sauce, a crunchy exterior, and a soft, silky interior. On the side, we ordered a bowl of steamed purple rice and white rice. This exceptional culinary experience combines the perfect balance of crunchiness, chili spice, garlicky freshness, and sweetness, rich flavors of Szechuan cuisine. The sweet and sour chicken was drowning in sauce even though we asked more than once for the sauce to be on the side. We liked the bell peppers and onions in the sauce. The chicken pieces were of decent size. I did not care for the sauce. The white rice was well made and fluffy. The rice was probably the best part of the dish. About an hour later, we ended up throwing up the food. A complete waste of $31 dollars (which is pricey for what was supposed to be a lunch special). Also, vegetable chow mein and chicken chow mein is the same price which we found out after we had paid. Lunch is pictured and mention to include soup BUT you only get soup if you dine in. The place looked clean the the people seemed friendly. We may give them one more chance bc of the friendly service.
